It's a good job that they make an announcement before the game 'Give a big welcome for your team - Wolverhampton Wanderers' cos I wouldn't have known it was them last 2 games - Imposters!

SteveBullStand-In my opinion I believe Ebanks-Blake, Doyle and Sigurdarson can do well if they can be given the chances. There not scoring because were not giving them the chances to finsh off and this is down to the midfielders. Sako has brilliant crosses and shots but shoots in unnessecary times. Henry is good defensely but we need someone who can put those through balls in.Doumbia is very good but gives possesion up too easily. And lets be honest we never had a right winger ever since pezko was out. Ward and Foley cannot pass the ball at all.So when january comes we need another Left back, centre back and atleast a right back. With O'hara back he can start those through to the strikers.

Actually i agree with you there m8 im just eager to b rid of baldy, if you look at other teams they have 4 or 5 strikers on their books who they rotate in the 1st team. siggy can be used as squad player but doesnt cut it up front especially with this dross style, other managers then maybe. but apart from that we have 2 strikers. I realy think we should get rid of him as he doesnt want to bring in a target man or a pacy forward, in other words an outlet, which we have been crying out for for a while. Wood would have been an excellent signingg and not as expensive as the fools hes brought in + proven effective and efficient

I took Joe (age 5) for his first visit to sit on the south bank yesterday, 500 mile round trip and £200 lighter I thought I would add the following as it was the first time this season after about 20 matches during the Prem years.
1. Johnson is a good player who thinks Berra is useless, some of the looks he gave him would have withered a rose. I agree with Rog
2. Ward and in particular Foley are terrible, distribution from the full backs was appalling.
Why can the defence (RJ aside who simply could not mop up the mess) not tackle/head/clear the ball - they were atrocious. Berra is an absolute clown.
3. Doyle, SEB and Siggi are bewildered by this strange system of passing sideways constantly, they need balls in the box, Doyle scored loads for Reading with his head!
4. Henry needs to be sold. Only goes sideways, he is not good enough to be a cultured passer
5. IMO we should lose Henry, play O'Hara and Doumbia in the middle with Frimpong behind them. He knows how to tackle.
6. Seriously Wolves need a LB, RB, CB and prob a striker.
Other than that, the south bank was amusing as always, my boy got spoken to by about 300 people and he had a great day spending Dad's money in the club shop and he STILL was singing "we love you wanderers" in his bed at 10pm when we got home. Bless him eh? {Ed011's Note - Lovely to hear, at least his experiences with Wolves should only improve.

Great stuff, hope for the future right now is in fans like you bringing in you children at a young age because when there old enough to know better its too late by then, your wolves it in the blood lol

This reminds me of my younger days supporting Wolves . My first match was in 1968 as an 8 year old. At that age they could do no wrong. I used to go to bed in my Wolves hat. It must have worked cus by the time i reached 12 i'd turned into Derek Dougan.
Sorry it wasn't a winning debut for Joe but i guess he wasn't too judgmental. Hope this is the first of many for him

everyone forgets on here that morgan and moxey are businessmen not football men.yes the club is financially sound but in return you get cheap crap players and you get what you pay for.look at forest they are not happy with winning and being 1 point off playoff so they sack manager as they want better and to achieve more.moxey and morgan want financial gain only.stale wont get sacked morgan is a penny pincher and wont pay out, he would rather run with stale and hope for the best-my conclusion is we are not an ambitious football club- just a business club.what morgan cant understand is that sometimes you have to gamble and splash the cash.if we dont then we will be the best run club in division 1.

How can you say this, the club should be financially sound who wouldnt want it to be, look at the albion. And the players we bought aren't cheap despite moxey being a good negotiator, but they are crap. How is that their fault? they were directed by solbakken to buy the players and he has cost us around 12 mill and the players we now have are neither good enough or hard working enough to be given any chance when a decent manager comes in when this bafoon is sacked, hopefully tomorrow morning first thing

i sat in the southbank yesterday and tbh it was a total joke we never pushed forward off our own free kicks in our own half doyle n blake was hardley past the halfway line this would be great if either one of them had pace but they dont we was 2 0 down so stale akes doyle off how can any manager justify that we are the lautghing stock of the championship how anyone can blame the manager is beyond me this is not his team this is micks team 90 minuetes and 2 shots on target i really think the local pub team would of done better

"how can any manager justify that" - followed by "how can anyone blame the manager" - because he has no plan b and the undoubted replies to this can answer this for me, what has he shown this season that makes him even a half decent manager???? his signings havent matched their price tag, he cant motivate, and his style of play is awful. we leak goals even though we have reasonable defenders for this standard because he cant make them play well and he doesnt make players play to their full potential. we dont score because hie style is so predictable we are the easiest team to play against and we punt it now more than ever. i dont trust him with money. and why should we?

I must have blinked twice and missed them two shots!

But those players were having more than 2 shots on goal when mick was managing, so then solbakken is logically a worse manager than mick. and we played football the crowd liked more.they were good enough for mick to get them promoted so why cant this so called champions league experienced manager get them to beat peterborough and ipswich at home, maybe because he is no use and he knows nothing about english football, the criteria we should have used when we should have hired steve bruce, curbishley, warnock, o'driscoll or even o'neill last dec before he went to sunderland

I wish we never got promoted.
I have had 4 years now wasted on watching wolves be poor.
I have been a season ticket since I was 12 Im 48 now, but for the first time I am seriously thinking of packing it up.
yesterday was like watching a sunday league game, not once did I get excited infact truth be known I was bored to death.
so Morgan do something about it or you will lose yet another loyal fan.

Think one of our main problems with our passing game is were to slow the tempo is to low opposing teams sit 2 banks and we can't get through them there's not enough movement off the ball midfielders to deep none running past the strikers full backs don't overlap think this is down to the players we have got ikeme has to punt it cause were shut down quickly cause were to slow sako goes back everytime cause he attacks the full back to slow and they double up on him teams have worked us out we need higher tempo

Yes agree but this is where you need technically gifted players that can find themselves half a yard, control and pass the ball.

The majority of our team, the team that mm built don't have the talent to play this way.

Like I have already said if you want succeed with the remnants that mick left you need another manager like him, the warnocks of this world.

It seems to me that the board want us to play football hence the appointment of ss. They now need to back him to the max.

All you moaners need to consider what's best for the team not just today or next season but for the next 20 years or so. Wolves were a prem side name only. Lets face it we were awful up there. The same players that couldn't hack it in the prem can't hack it in the championship. That says it all to me.

Time to show some courage and fight and get behind stale. I'd hate to be in the trenches with some of you! You'd run a mile!!

Totally agree trouble is half people on here don't understand football these players are moulded for the likes of warnock big Sam everyone bangs on about o driscol or poyet what would they do different to stale the players can't play this way ability dont allow it so it either back stale and stick to this style of sack him and go back to shift in graft short term fix long term dire
