I agree Billy Wright it is exciting and a huge statement of intent by the club, however I do have reservations.
My concern is like last season we have a team of strangers trying to play as a team with a new manager - very few of whom have any championship experience. Continental football is very different to the cut and thrust of championship football.
Also is Nuno getting a full say on these transfers? PL left for that reason - he wasn't. Nuno didn't rate Neves last season - so why is he wanting him now?
As things stand they only get six months with Fosun to prove their worth or they're gone!
I'm not being deliberately negative, I just don't want to start the season excited about a new season and after a few weeks saying to myself 'here we go again'

Niknaklady, fully understand your concerns and couldn't agree more. But, one difference being, Nuno has got his squad for a full pre-season whereas Zenga barely had a week. And Lambert was hired to clear up the mess. Season looks to have all the makings of a massive promotion push. Let's fill the Molineux and get behind them like never before.

Understand concerns Niknak, but this does look like a developing plan rather than the all out panic after the late takeover last year. Also it is better to be adding good players than not at all. Allow yourself to be excited. but keep everything crossed!

OMG it's really all starting to come together. We are forming a young team that can grow and develop together, we just need the striker to put the cherry on top. If we can make sure Ronan and Bright and Hause keep in the mix I think we have every reason to be be on the up. If Afobe can come back and put a smile on his face and score 20 goals I won't complain.

I remember reading something recently that said that the new boss had teams that were hard to beat, not too expensive and exciting, but hard to beat.
That would possibly my explain the signings to date.
I'm sure the strikers will be forthcoming and, with the merry-go-round yet to really lock off, we may find that the good coups are the ones that come later in the window.
I'm excited at the prospects for next season!

First post Someone was right last week with news of a big signing on the way by the looks of things can't believe what's happened the last 2 years I remember when we paid 2M for Tony Daley or thereabouts in 1994 the then record was 5M for Alan shearer to Blackburn thought I'd never see us compete with the big boys again when we was getting out bid for wells woods and the list goes on under moxey and Morgan thankyou fosun WWFC will no doubt be soon back on the map.

Got to go on record as confirming that Paul from Tamworth was absolutely right when he said that there were positives to the Mendes connection. I haven't agreed with everything he has said in the past but he was absolutely nailed on right with this. How many times in the past would the likes of Villa Derby Fulham QPR Reading and Leeds have stepped in and taken quality potential signings off us at the last minute, just like taking sweets off a kid. Yes I know the big signing is still to land and Fosun money talks loudly. But it needs more than that to close the deal. Mendes was the difference in getting Nuno and the two of them are the difference in landing the players that really matter.

I'm shocked that they haven't made a striker there number one target for the summer. Considering a winger was our top scorer with DD second. We need a number 9 if we wish to get out of this league.

Concerning ruben neves coming to wolves, if you look at sky sports transfer centre and their top ten whispers it shows that neves to wolves is rated 4.8 from a possible 5.0 that it will happen. With this algoritm over numerous seasons following it I haven't come across one that doesn't happen this high up the rumour mill. Usually the bottom ones are just that ie whispers but the top say 5 you can class as done deals.
Put it this way neves transfer is on the same scale as defoe to bournemouth, lindeloff to man utd etc etc were on the graph.

Why is everyone buzzing by this kid neves who hasn't played much or played in England b4? Yes he looks good on YouTube but can he do it at burton on a Tuesday night? Personally the £18-20m it will cost I would rather get 3 experienced players with that. But I'm happy for neves to prove me wrong.

Its definetely saying that the deal with neves has been agreed just after midnight . This ties in with what was stated regarding portos ffp regulations as their books needed to balance by this time. Regarding mendes we can all safely say this blokes one shrewd operator along the lines of fosun. He knew porto were in trouble and offered them a lifeline by getting them the money they desperately need, killed two birds with one stone by yet again giving wolves one hell of a player and assett. Expect neves to tear the championship a new arsehole as by watching him he's top drawer and the creative spark we've missed.

Has for fosun your 100% right out of darkness these guys don't know the meaning of failing and they won't fail if it takes them a couple more years they will succeed and the success can be as big as they like they have the money to do whatever they want in football it's just up to them where they want to take us.

I know that not one of these new guys has kicked a ball for us yet, but this is starting to feel a whole lot more positive that the any few years.
I also feel that the influence and involvement of Mendes seems to be paying off, with some excellent looking foreign guys complemented by some strong homegrown talent.
Exciting!
Hope the other guys that leave us, and have served us well over the years, find good new jobs!

Couldnt agree more pt, 1877 and exeter, if anyone doesn't like what's happening now or even some of the signings last season then they're deluded and need to remember chorley etc. Fosun aren't bothered about our own ffp as shi said a while back they will just take the fine given.
Cant wait to see us dominate games again and watch some douglas free kicks.

Pleased to see we are pissing in the right direction, but still want to see 2 quality strikers minimum. That where the majority of our goals will come from.
