and I know its still a huge if, rumours are true what an amazing situation. The three largest clubs in the west midlands all owned by mega rich Chinese businessmen. Overnight the forgotten stagnant backwater of football suddenly bursts into life. It will take years to bring to fruition but suddenly there would be a power base to rival London Manchester and Liverpool. I wonder if these backers have all decided on this approach separately or if there is someone advising on the brilliant geographical position, the massive potential at the right price and of course most importantly to the Chinese our wonderful collective history and tradition. Whatever it is bring it on.

In my business I sell to the Chinese. They like a bargain. Good Championship club, knock down price, get it promoted, lovely jubbly. They have patience too. They understand underlying value rather than over-priced PL clubs.
