Don't we have a manager already I use that term lightly! Not sure if we can be giving or signing contracts will we still have an incumbent or do I mean cucumber! Does he have a job title?

just read jez moxey in express and star we were losing before tc were still losing but were playing better every wolves fan emigrate youll get no sense here it seems its the chship theyre after i am a wolves fan in my sixties i have never seen anything like it whats going on

Moxey can't be serious! Played better Saturday and still lost - how is that better? Last year we were fighting hard and had the will to win - this year they're just fighting! Sort it out - some of our last games are winnable and the other teams have quite a rough run in. Blackburn are back in it now. Come on wolves you owe us a fight for it at the very least - starved of good football/results/leadership this season.

Moxey insistent they made the right decision in appointing connor makes me wonder what's got to happen for the board to wake up and see the big picture.the bloke is totaly out of is depth just presided of the worst home run in clubs history got no clue on tactics substitutions or team selection, and as for coaching the players we sign go backwards a month after signing.and moxey thinks this an improvement god help us

Reply to moxey insistent youve hit the nail on the head the two m s want the championship everything points to it i might think this but i cant understand it do they have to cut the wage bill what on earth is going on

Not only wolves fans but the whole football world knows that we made a hash of sacking mcarthey(too late) and installing Conner (wrong man) but please now stop trying to justify your actions Mr Moxey you are making us a laughing stock.FFs just get the next appointment right and soon !

He shouldnt be appointing anyone he should get the next train out of wton

A big fat apology and a free cup game next season would be a start to win some respect from the loyal and severely tested fans!

No apology he could make would hide the fact theyve manoevred us into the champ and totally let us down

02 Apr 2012 20:40:21
One thing is do believe is that M & M have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to retrieve the situation so we can once again move forward

Lets hope they have an 'A' rated manager lined up to bring us back

If they don't the wrath of the fans has only just begun i fear

can someone tell me if anyone on the board really knows football and cares about wolves or are they all in it for the money if one of them do care why dont they do something instead of bowing down to morgan and moxey or has morgan surounded himself with grovelers and yes men

02 Apr 2012 18:41:25
lots of namesd being debated here but we first have to decide how we are going to play, this will determine the right choice of manager. If we go down the Swansea route then amybe we have to have a clear out and wait 2 or 3 years for things to blossom, if its quick fix then the answer is also simple; money plus an experienced manager. my point is we cannot have it both ways

I'm sick of hearing managers saying "... it will take 3 years to rebuild the team etc etc etc".

The manager and board should always be looking 3 years ahead anyway. If the incumbant manager doesn't have a 3 year plan then he shouldn't be there.

Bet you a pint of Banks's that TC doesn't have a 3 year plan.

(rant over)

Hold on. I know us Wolves fans are pessimistic but QPR have to play MUFC, Spurs, Chelsea and MCFC. Wigan have to play Chelsea, MUFC, Arsenal and N Castle. Blackburn still got MUFC, LPool spurs and Chelsea. All is not lost. Get three points against the Stokies. Maybe freshen it up with Zelli...UTW

I like your optimism

That is the most optimistic piece I've read in at least 3 months. Fair play.

You're missing one point. Even if they lose all their games, we still have to win at least three of ours because of our awful goal difference. Where are you hoping to get any points from our remaining games with the players body language saying they would rather be anywhere else but on the pitch in a Wolves shirt? Really, really hope you're right but somehow I doubt it.

3 points each from Stoke and Wigan. Stoke were playing better last year. Everton might have one eye on the FA cup so there's 9. Man City on a wobble?? Let's make Molineux horrible for the Gooners, Swansea already safe..Come on let's wait for the fat lady to sing before we assume the worst!

Do you fancy being manager - you've got the motivation? Please be right

Fanciful stuff. We still need to win 3 games more than the crowd and/or overcome a huge goal difference.

Note the word "more", just in case anyone thinks it might be doable.

i no he's retired but still think he could get us back up if they could get him back in to football steve copple anyone ? i wouldnt go back for curbs bruce still might be the sensible option .. would loved it if jody craddock would take up the role wolves fans love him but he wont

Coppel is class but he's quit a couple of times now and probably doesn't take pressure well.

what kind of football do wolves play no matter whos in charge hoof ball n what kind of football does big sam play hoof ball but more effective could it work yes providing he wants to come

02 Apr 2012 17:28:06
terry conner will be our manager , in the championship next year

If this were true i would want my season ticket money back

This lot would do that if so i will not go payed my ticket because i love the wolves not that idot morgan or loony tunes connors

02 Apr 2012 16:52:00
why is conner still here if morgan cared he would have sacked him and got new manager in to prepare for next season and some of you still defend him

Who are you goin to have no one will leave there current club to try n fight for us now mich should of gone in the summer end of we all no it i bet morgan regrets it now

Solskjear next manager deal done .Nothing can be announced until end of season. Both clubs have signed a contract!!

02 Apr 2012 12:34:20
For all you plebs that think we should get rid of Morgan then please pull your heads out of your backsides!! who could be a better owner than him?
A billionaire foreigner would bring attractive football to the club along with massively increased ticket prices and put the club firmly in the red.
Or maybe someone loyal like Sir Jack who (as much as I like him) has never managed to achieve what Morgan has.
Look at QPR who currently sit a pathetic 6 pts above us, those 6 pts have effectively pushed the club £50 million in debt compared to Wolves operating profit of around £2 mil (excuse me if these figures are not 100% accurate) and they are still not safe this season.
With investment in the academy I think we are set on a long term path to success, being a Wolves supporter all of my life I am used to pain and disappointment so a few more years won't hurt!!

My thoughts exactly. We may not be in the premiership next season but at least we know we will not be going bust, or be forced to sell players that we want to keep!

Never heard so much rubbish morgan has achieved nothing and we will achieve nothing while he is here this man has watched us get worse and worse and done nothing hes not bothered about the team all he wants is to make money from our name you call us plebs we are the people who can see behind the lies as for what i would call you its unprintable

Post 1 i agree but moxey hmm dont do it for me id rather be in the black than the red

I know relegation is hard to take. But it's not the end of the world. There are some good teams down there and hopefully a lot more wins too.

What about that, Wolves fans. Winning. Can we even remember winning more than 2 games in a row?

To be honest, if it suits Morgan he'll sell on and he won't have lost much if anything. Obviously a Prem club is worth more than a Champo or League 1 outfit, so he may bide his time. I await with interest to see what moves he makes this summer to keep us, eh, plebs, happy.

OK then pleb, why don't you buy Wolves and guide us towards the light. Oh no, wait you can't afford it. until you can I suggest a better alternative then hush yourself.

As a pleb, I reserve the right to be entertained - after all that's what kept many a Roman emperor in business, and they knew it too.

At least we will be relegated before the last match of the season. Couldn't bear the false hope of staying up only to be beaten at wigan. That would be gut wretching.

02 Apr 2012 10:27:45
Wolves 3 Bolton 2

just played my grandson on FIFA 2012

mind you i did have rooney in my team !!

Oh I dunno. If we beat Wigan it'll be consolation. My guess is that both teams will already be down.
