There are two videos on you tube that sums up Steve Morgan one is the unvieling of Dean Saunders where he comes across a stuttering red faced wreck with a lack of enthusiam and football knowledge. Que second video with Steve Bull over compton unvieling his redrow homes and you can see the passion and ambition pouring out of him it's so obvious where his priorities lie kills me to to say it but we look destined for league 1
Interesting observation. He's comfortable with housing and in his element. His decision making over the last 12 months shows he's uncomfortable and way out of his depth with football; and his interview with Pat Murphy when he unveiled Saunders only underlined this.
A big motto for success at the top in any area is that you need to know what you don't know(and employ people to cover that lack of expertise/knowledge). I get the feeling that Morgan's a nice guy who means well. His biggest mistake is in believing that Jez Moxey covers the areas that he doesn't know.

Lets be honest, If you are a real, true wolves supporter you should just turn up on a Saturday and sing your hearts out for the 11 in the shirt and the manager guiding them. If we are rubbish fine, but all this booing and moaning and undermining is not helping matters. It makes me laugh that most people on this site think they are Alex Ferguson or Mourinho. I like to think i'm a level headed guy, I try to keep calm even when things aren't going right. But if we don't sign at least 2 players I am going to blow. without reinforcements we will lose to Leicester, and we will go down. If we sign 2 and we go down at least I could live with it, knowing that slowly we were trying to change the team, which I accept can't be done overnight, because when you have over half the team rubbish, ITS NOT POSSIBLE.
Im on the verge exploding myself and if we don't sign anyone decent then goodbye earlybird.

in my opinion it would be stupid for us to sell ward and sylvan. they are the only people we can play in their positions. we don't have another lb and no other striker scores. anyone who says ebanks is stale can get lost. he wasn't used in the prem so how do we know if he is his old self. what must be said is that we have made very few chances for him this year and he has played next to doyls, adding pressure for goals onto him as doyle never scores. plus he plays best next to a target man to feed him in the box. he has played in 2 champ seasons before this for us, winning 2 golden boots and scoring about 50 goals, getting rid of him is out of the question, and I am happy to see that crystal palace have moved onto targetting some bloke called russell, so we won't sell our most valuable asset for as little as 1m.
we can't sell ward until we have another lb of good quality in, though I would have presumed there were targets out there who could do the job a bit better. On the batth thing, I don't think he's any good, as akinfenwa destroyed him start of the season, why do people target berra, he has now become one of our most dependable players. For this level he is a very good cb. why didn't we get the rubbish margeriter and batth out on loan to cut the wage bill and keep stearman who we know has played reasonably well for us. IF batth shows inexperience thursday we will get destroyed. I think we will go 5 in midfield thurs and try and get something out of the game by stopping them as much as creating.

I hate Morgan for what he is doing to our club.
Stop blaming Moxey, McCarthy, Solbakken they can/could only do things approved by the owner.
Solbakken was 100% right when he said the whole squad needed replacing and that more than anything probably cost him his job.
The man obviously has no feeling for the club and fans whatsoever.

We didn't create any chances for him under solbakken so he didn't score many, but doyle was tipped to be one of the top-scorers, and he hasn't scored much but as usual with fools like you you would rather have someone who ran around a bit but doesn't score than the bloke who has 2 championship golden boots. why on earth do you want to sell 3/4 of the defence?? for this level they are not awful but they are struggling because ikeme doesn't talk and they are not protected by henry like he used to, and ohara and sako don't do defensive work at all. we need to have a solid base, with players like sako, ohara and boukari/pesko or guedioura(why on earth we sold him is a mystery) feeding ebanks. or stick with the 442 but replace doyle with a target man like hanson from bradford or austin.

This season went wrong from the minute we didn't buy Jordon Rhodes in the summer when everyone knew fletcher was going. An inform striker in the wolves mode, seems more certain than ever our club is now a business and as long as we balance the books it doesn't matter if we win anything.

If we'd of Kept Solbakken then we could of been 9 points better off by now and then another 3 on thursday.
The only reason he got sacked was because he had an ambition to bring in quality players. As he said about his time a Koln him and the board did not get on. I think the same happened here he told the board straight that we need new players bought in and he needed money to spend in January. Jez didn't like the idea of that and so convinced Morgan that Solbakken didn't know what he was on about and the loss to Luton then gave moxey even more fire power and now look no signings but players have gone!

deanos not the man for wolves.we had the chance to get rid of ward but wants to keep the fool, shows what his ambitions are.
Ward is a good player, he can play left back, up front, and I believe could be a driving midfield player.those who run him down are people who in my opinion no little about football, and are just frustrated and lash out at anybody, and for some unknown reason Ward is the fallguy.there is 5 other players on par with Ward, he is no better or worse than them.
I agree that Ward tries hard for us but he is not a left back! We signed him as a centre forward...there are other players whose time is up at Wolves, we should have stuck with Stale, he was prepared to make tough decisions and he understood what needed to be done at our club. a complete mental and physical clear out.
We are now stuck with a nice bloke in DS but not someone who will take us back to the EPL
Thank you 2nd poster, people get on the back of berra and foley but praise sako, who hasn't contributed anything for the last 3 months and doesn't track back or play the ball when he should. just foolish really

We need to get real lower league signings would not be a bad option if they have the quality and actually want to play for the shirt. Jarvis and kites were from the leagues below. As much I don't like him either King would be a good signing for us and scores the goals. People saying we should be being more ambitious need to be realistic we are 18th in the championship and seemingly in a free fall. That's not an attractive proposition for players. We are in a major transition period atm so need to back Saunders and accept we are not going to attract players that we as fans feel we should be aiming for.

So Mr 'Insanity' Morgan strikes again. We can't sell our fringe players such as Stearman because we have put a far to inflated price on his head. So what shall we do? I know! Lets loan him to one of our relegation rivals so that WE can help to shore up there defence and no doubt drag us lower into the relegation battle. This is absolute INSANITY! Its football suicide. You can see the outcome coming a mile away, its not rocket science. Ipswich stay up with ease and we get relegated. Good point you made there about sm having say in team, because I cannot get my head round adam hammill not getting fair chance by at least last 3 managers counting deano, yet he scores a fantastic goal the other week on last game for hudd.town v blues.surely they can give him a game with goals in him like that one he scored, an area of the field we are so sadly lacking hope he don't come back to haunt us if we let him go, which we all now will probably happen, every body deserves a chance so come on deano prove me wrong and that you are the gaffer and at least put him on bench to start with then who nows wolfie wolves for life

Im sorry but truth be told he's exactly like keogh was here, all work no end product... Apart from doyle falls over looking for a freekick more and keogh has now learnt where the net is.
Keogh was ridiculed and heckled by wolves fans while with doyle its always someone elses fault why he not effective, micks, stale, now deanos.
Tobe honest i'd have keogh over doyle and he costus a lot less !!!

When I said about problems within the club I meant less about money and more about the attitude. Not to sound like some cliche conspiracy but I really think something went wrong last season after January within the club. This steady decline in class has been happening for a while. I think it might be a deep seated attitude problem between the players and staff. I know it sounds stupid but nothing we try is working. Is it because half our players are crooks (Hammill, griffiths etc) ?
