Get phill Neville in next season just think of the managers he's played under sir Alex and moyes 1 the best manager of my generation and the other an excellent manager

N the players ronaldo beckham scholes stam schmicheal giggs van nistelrooy cole Yorke OGS baines fellani to name a few

Im not sure if I agree, its rare a great footballer becomes a great manager but then again anything other than saunders is a plus

Wouldn't take any s**** though

Look at di canio great footballer but he's got the drive passion and will to succeed that's what makes a good manager

Went to game saturday, awful no words to describe it, the players should be ashamed, should give there wages to charity, I for one will not go to watch them and pay that kind of money to be entertained like that if you could call it entertainment, deano seams nice kind of guy but i'm afraid job his to big for him, the only player who tried for wolves was hunty, i'm afraid it needs a complete overhaul with respect to teams like burnley and hudd. town and lose to them both at home, and concede 5 goals his unthinkable with money we have just sitting in bank and the stadium which looks fantastic and pitch. wolfy

Can everyone stop thinking there will be a fresh squad next year and that all the under achievers will be gone as you are I believe forgetting several key issues.

1) Transfer fees, can you see Moxey selling on the cheap, he prides himself on driving a hard deal, plus how many of our "stars" will be wanted by premier league teams and how many championship teams can afford them.

2) Wages, if you are used to being paid £30k a week and the boss says "I want to sell you, I have a buyer but they can only pay you £20k per week" would your answer be like mine along the lines of "it starts with F and ends with F"

For reference remember Leeds and the number of teams wage bills they subsidised or Zidgic at Blues on his £60k, they cannot move him because he won't go.

The only ones who will go are those that are any good or have potential, simply put the ones we need

Will Leigh Griffiths be staying or sold to to raise money

3) Downo, who in their right mind would want to sign for a manager whose claim to fame is having two clubs relegated in successive years and as a reputation for playing cr*p
football

Sorry but I think that our problems are set to get worse before they get better as Morgan does not trust Moxey with his money (and rightly so) and Saunders has less skills in management and understands football less than my Labrador (at least he is Golden from nose to tail) {Ed003's Note - like I said on an earlier post,in league 1 you will have to adhere to the 60 % wage to income cap,some high earners will have to go and to be honest will want to(that's an other issue) but with you still getting parachute payments you will be in a good position if the worst happens}

If managers get sacked for doing a bad job, why can't footballers. Are contracts so badly written that they say "it's okay, even if you play s***, you will still be paid, we will allow you to take the team down, and there's no way we will sack you"?

28 Apr 2013 22:10:13
Wolves are set to sign Chinese striker Li Gwon

Haha.

Apparently he comes as a package with defender, Gho-Windown.

And Weewon Wons on the wing - sorted!

To those that think Bruce was the answer. My mate is a big Hull fan and tells me they are garbage. Be down before xmas ( if they get there ). He is the same as MM, good in the championship, no good in the prem.
SS should have been allowed to strip it right back to the bare bones and start again with a proper war chest. But no, that war chest never arrived. These players over performed for MM, that's what he is good at, the minute he left we saw them for what they really are. You add the rest.
GET MOXEY OUT.

100% correct mate. Get S. S. back now. P. J.

28 Apr 2013 20:06:07
So we are nearly down with the squad that kept us in the prem for a bit, just shows how much we relied on Jarvo and Fletch.

Think this could be good though as younger players get a game and will be a ble to completely rebuild and change our squad.

New start

28 Apr 2013 20:00:49
Get Edgar Davids in as manager.

28 Apr 2013 19:45:26
Media are reporting that one arrest was made after the match on Saturday, rumour has it that is was Steve Morgan for inpersonating a football chairman

Boring

28 Apr 2013 15:46:13
Ed just seen on the main page that Wolves will be hit with a transfer embargo because of our wage bill being too high for league 1. Any truth or substance to this? {Ed003's Note - Not yet,in the summer you will have to address your wage bill to be no more than 60 % of your income,but you will still have parachute payments so it shouldn't be a problem really.}

28 Apr 2013 16:38:05
out of the darkness cometh light the phoenix will rise again

28 Apr 2013 16:18:25
why don't you muppets grow up and develope brains. wolves demise started under mccarthy and we have been in freefall ever since. yes, moxey has to go, morganwould probably sell if anybody was interested, but it is certainly not deanos fault, mourino could not have saved us. bully is right, deano must be given till christmas to see what he can do to arrest the slide, stabilise the club and get us going forward again. it may take two seasons to get back into the championship, let alone the premiership, so get used to it, or support man united.

Agree - clean slate, new start completely. The rot really set in when we signed Roger Johnson and he was given the captain's armband. The rest of the players obviously didn't respect him and neither did the supporters. All downhill from there.

Hi, Muppet here. You are correct, McCarthy does have a lot to answer for. But as I'm a muppet maybe you can explain something to me. Why should we stick with Saunders? What can you see that I can't? Have you seen a style if play that will take us forward? Have you noticed a tactical genius 10 years ahead of his time? Is he a fantastic man motivator that brings the best out of the players? Can he attract players that will stop the rot?
Sorry, but I think the job is beyond him. But then, what would a muppet know?

Mupiits? and you're qualifications to be an expert are?

What the hell are you on about, we were above the legation zone in the Premier League when McCarthy was sacked. Wolves demise started the same minute he drove out the gate.

You would honestly give downo until Christmas. they bloke is useless, a complete no mark. what happened to giving SS time to sort this pile of s**t team out, and that bloke wanted to change the complete structure of the club and teams playing style, all saunders had to do was get the team hoofing the ball around'mccarthy style and he can't even do that, get the bloke out of the club, with Moxey at the season end and get a real manager in, like Warnock, or Coyle. managers who know how to get the best out of players and take no prisoners, then if. and its a massive if, when they get us promoted back to the prem, offer them the DoF position and look for a proven prem quality manager to get us established and progressing in the league. MFA.

Had Solbakken stayed I think we'd at least been safe, had the players turned up for him anyway.

The likes of Henry are the rot that has to go now, this is where the root cause of our problems are.

28 Apr 2013 15:19:46
I see our potential saviour Leigh Griffiths scored two more goals yesterday. Nice decision not to bring him back deano. If you're not man enough to handle his temperament you shouldn't be in management.

It was solbakken who sent him out on loan without a recall clause not deano.

Apparently he couldn't bring him back even if he wanted to as there wasnt a call back clause in his contract.

It wasn't SS who sent him back. Deano had him back and decided after a few days that he could go

28 Apr 2013 15:03:47
Well what a mess, I have never been so frustrared, disappointed or disgusted in nearly 60 years supporting WWFC. First off, We will do no good why Mr Moxey has anything to do with the playing side of the club, financial administrator on a much reduced salary perhaps, but with no representation on the board, the appontment of a director of football and and the appointment of a half decent manager with a plan. Secondly the severe pruning of the failed playing staff no names but the future has to be in the younger players. Thirdly the banning of those who disgraced our club yesterday, I was in the "North Bank" and was aware of what was going to happen at the final whistle, so where were the Police, disgraceful all round. Out of Darkness cometh Light, but not with these proven failures.

Disgraceful behaviour by the stewards which is why the guy kicked out. Videos are now circulating on fbook. As for kicking advertising boards, well the players do this when celebrating so why can't a fan kick them?
As for the mess well, the conspiracy theories will be doing the rounds soon. I believe the academy is strong enough to get us back up next season so bye bye to the millionaires with no ambition!

The problem as I saw it was the stewards on the Steve Bull side were letting fans on whilst on the Billy Wright were trying to stop them. With the limited numbers available they should have admitted defeat, protected the tunnel, players and officials. When the Police arrived most dispersed.

I have seen various reports in newspapers today ranging from hundreds of trouble makers to over 1000. In truth I saw somebody talking to KD, A couple of fans giving RJ flack but he seemed to be giving as much back. Twit with a blue top kicking a steward but a number of wolves fans protecting the steward and two guys kicking a hoarding on TV. Papers wrongly state that one fan was arrested during the trouble ( no there wasn't it was a 15 Year old Burnley fan drunk before the game. Whilst I not condoning anything, think it was a disgrace and they should be banned for life, but the the trouble was caused by a small minority and any fan will confirm we have always attracted a few
persons.

28 Apr 2013 14:34:01
Saunders will stay hopefully do what he did at doncaster all the big earners to go or be paid off that will take a lot of money out of club small transfer war chest available for a couple of signings I know it hurts but may be blessing in disguise start winning again with a hungry squad to ascent the leagues rebuild fan base get feelgood factor back starting point for all this r johnson being pissed down hill from there. we will be back passing sandwell town as we go ian walsall

Blessing, what planet are you on it could take us ten years to get back to the Prem and if Saunders & Moxey are still at the Club it will take even longer. P. J.

Downo has to go.

Relegation is sickening, but the thought of Saunders being here after next Saturday makes it a hundred times worse. When we were looking for a manager, not one supporter mentioned his name. Since then he has done nothing, nothing, to enhance his reputation. Didn't want him then and certainly don't want him any longer.

How about a punt on a manager currently out of work. owen coyle if he could be persuaded to come. what's every ones thoughts or alternatives to be, to beano because he in not fine and dandy!

28 Apr 2013 14:29:34
all the regrets about mccarthy are mis placed he was useless in the prem be truthful! stale had no experience in the champ morgan should have brought in a no 2 such as peter reid instead stale brought in a german again with no experience a recipe for disaster, then steve morgan expected dean saunders to get us out of this mess deans cv in the championship read relegation already, even fergie would have struggled, were more or less in league one mr moxey should resign and hopefully 75% of the present playing staff will leech elsewhere give deano a chance with the finger on the sack button he's done well in lg 1 give him a chance

28 Apr 2013 13:14:24
Paul - Tamworth

Instead of having ago at Steve Morgan, who has invested heavily in the club in building the training complex, new stand (although not needed) and funded new players that Moxey and Mad Mick thought were brilliant then did not play can you please give us an insight into your world please.

To those of us that have constantly said Downo was the worse appointment ever you have always scoffed and stated
"The futures bright, the futures Deano"

Please either explain your views or admit with grace that you misjudged him (as did Moxey and Morgan)

If you disagree with how much Morgan has backed the club then the company accounts can be purchased from several sources on the web to illustrate the financial truth.

100% spot on

28 Apr 2013 12:32:35
no passion no commitment no responsibility there's not a leader amongst them could you imagine incey as a player putting up with that saunders has been the fall guy they could have moved heaven and earth to beef up the squad but they chose to keep the money in the bank well mr morgan and mr moxey we got our injuries when things were looking up but where was the back up! simply there was none and in my opinion its all down to you two before I finish may I say there was only one true wolves man out there which was stephen hunt

Shame that Wolves fans reacted in such a manner as they did yesterday. Generally the fans who have loyally travelled away this year have been supportive up until the final whistle, the same can not be said of a some others. Young, and older, players do react to encouragement and too often the "fans " have been more anti Wolves than the opposition fans. The failure is not just the players, management and directors, we the fans must take some of the blame. If you want to jeer then stay away next year or with a younger team we may end up in Division 2.

28 Apr 2013 12:14:40
The two biggest mistakes in my time as a wolves supporter are Jamie O'Hara and Roger Johnson both big time charlies who have absolutely no pride in wearing that gold and black shirt. They are typical examples of the way modern day footballers work glamourous wives, flashy clothes and watches and don't break a sweat on the field. Jamie has made more appearances in OK magazine then on the pitch. And to think they are paid 30000+ a week. Sooner Johnson leaves the better never has a pllayer created such distance between the team and loyal working class fans.

Mad Mick didn't do his background work on those 2 did he?-they go along with all the other big time Charlie's who can't play football he left us with!

Theres something about johnson and us wolves fans there's no respect either way the sooner he leaves the better, say what you want about gorkes you can't deny he gives you what he's got, dean saunders should have stuck with danny baath if he stays hell be our john terry, it was a big mistake bringing johnson back in

Yes your right about gorkes he gives all he has. Effort but very little ability, would just like him to put a foot on it. Sorry but Berra is better

Who's in the team for Saturday. Do we hope to win by 2 or 3 and hope that the others will lose by 2 or 3? Should we play Roger Johnson, Jamie Ohara, Kevin Doyle? Do you think they want to play for us after the abuse they have received. Or do we play the kids?

28 Apr 2013 11:53:53
My thought, on a positive note, is we can build a strong young spine to the team. Hopefully the dead wood clear out will finally commence. My spine would be; any of the goalkeepers I think they are all good (but don't think we can afford all four), Danny Batth, David Davis and Jake Cassidy. There are plenty of players to supplement this spine such Doherty, Forde, Elokobi etc. Not sure about captain but maybe Davis. Players like Mcalinden should get plenty of opportunities too.

28 Apr 2013 11:33:27
Still think the future is bright under Deano Paul?
Told you we should of stuck with Stale ok we wouldn't of been promoted but we'd most likely be mid table now and safe it's fans like you that are the problem at this club fickle and two faced.

The truth will set you free.

28 Apr 2013 10:09:57
Congratulations to all the persons who wanted Stale out- you got what you deserve

He was useless along with saunders both of them are rubbish anyone who thinks otherwise are deluded

No, stale was trying to change the culture/style of play at the club, which takes time. But you fans can't ever see beyond one season at a time. We would've finished mid table, but instead you impatient fans pushed the panic button and the result was Downo and his antiquated hoofball which any professional side can cope against! Don't blame the board, blame yourselves!

Can't agree more OP. The fans are too inpatient and want instant success because they have seen citeh and chelski buy success. But we are not citeh, chelski, united etc. WE ARE WOLVES and its going to take time. Solbakken would be the perfect guy to rebuild us now but as the OP says fans were too inpatient.

TDW

Right on Salbakken being right to take us forward for the future. He would have changed the culture and dragged us into the new world. Even most championship teams this season have attempted to play footbalL and keep tha ball on the floor and to the forwards feet instead of hoof!

Wrong on the board. They supported neither Salbakken or Saunders.

28 Apr 2013 10:08:07
The only TATA involvement at wolves will be at brighton when we say tata to the championship
we could be in the lower leagues for years under these people

Hope so.

Think we should dress up in 80's gear to celebrate the last time we were in the 3rd division or something from Star Wars ( work the last bit out for yourselves) :)

28 Apr 2013 10:04:15
disgusting, morgan and moxey didn't even stay to the end. I left about 5 minutes after the final whistle, when the mindless thugs were on the pitch, and their cars were gone. I feel very sick at the moment. The thought of visiting crewe and colchester, for example when a couple of years back we were visiting old trafford and the emirates. M&M are really killing this club

WILKO

28 Apr 2013 10:01:26
On 1st jan we were 1 point behind bolton, we sack a manager (who was at the start of a long term project) because it was cheaper than spending any money in transfer window.
Now they looking at playoffs and we looking towards yeovil, thanks for being so shortsighted.
The futures bright my arse Paul Tamworth
wednesfield wolf

28 Apr 2013 09:53:34
I love being a wolves fan even if we are the Simpsons version of a football club. Dysfunctional yes and never far from controversy but I still love em.
WWFC it's a life choice.
Wanderer s till I die.

Jez moxeys second chin

Its never boring supporting Wolves, got to dust ourselves down and go again. Seen lots of views blaming owners, players and the fans but we all want what's best for Wolves. Its easy to support Man Utd, Chelsea etc but supporting Wolves is different, like a rollercoaster, down at the moment but will be back.

28 Apr 2013 09:29:25
Let's hope Brighton play a very weakened side and we finally put in a performance fitting of been called a professional team and that palace batter Peterborough and huddersfield beat Barnsley. The chances are very slim but the way this season has gone you just never no. As for yesterday protests are 1 thing but criminal damage is disgraceful to the club you say you support

Agreed, Brighton are sure of a play off place already, and palace will be fighting against barnsley to ensure that they get theirs! My concern is the Huddersfield/Peterborough match - too tight to call! Hope Huddersfield get the win! Of course the other results going our way mean nothing if we don't actually beat Brighton!. c'mon everyone, one last push for the last game of the season!

1% of me lives in hope, but let's get real.

28 Apr 2013 08:48:38
this club is rotten to the core, morgan to blame end of, promsing a war chest in jan what did we get nothing, morgan out. moxey out, deano the beano out, deadwood out. don't blame the fans for runnung on the pitch and saying morgan leave

28 Apr 2013 08:40:00
So league 1 here we come unless we pull off the greatest escape ever wow I am wishful thinking

But Morgan has made mistakes with the timing of micks sacking ignoring fans and appointing Bruce going with Connor SS and only having Saunders as the only candidate for the job and listening to moxey

But everyone blaming Morgan he gave them all money to spend Saunders SS and mick have one thing in common they never addressed the defence they all mm and SS both were Henry lovers while DS hand has been forced to play him cause Davis is out

Right get the fans back on side -
Sack moxey and Saunders bring in a DOF and I was thinking phill Neville or someone like that with modern culture of the game

Bring back kids for a quid for some games lower ticket prices to 10-15 quid just to get fans back through the door

Do what schalke do before signing anyone the ask fans there opinion

Go back to the young and hungry build a team for an assult on league 1 and get back to the prem in 3 season surely that's the aim

Like other people's thoughts on other ways to get fans back on side without selling the club

Oh and did McAlindon do

Asking the fans for their opinions on purchases?. have you ever heard of the phrase 'too many chiefs'? In a club you want a manager to make decisions as he knows the team, not purchase by general consensus!. just at the moment we have a manager who can't even pick his own nose!

27 Apr 2013 23:49:44
Pitch invasions are never pretty but we all need to understand the reasons for it. and that is sheer frustration. As we have all said this squad should be nowhere near relegation yet here we are looking at the map to see where the hell stevenage is. The responsibility for this lies with Mr Morgan and Mr Moxey full stop. They employed a manager with no track record forget whether he was a good palyer or not and now they have reaped the reward.
I really hope they fel it where it hurts in the pocket like us true WWFC fans who pay week in week out to watch this dross, if you own a football club you have a big responsibility to the fans, this is not about building houses Mr Morgan. I am not asking him to leave but I am asking him to really understand the impact of poor management upon the fans of this club. We have been humiliated for the last 2 seasons and sadly a large part of the blame sits with the owner and the CEO and board. It's time Mr Morgan to take a long hard look, make your choice and let's all be happy with that decision. Read into that what you will.

I agree 100% morgan fault for, telling lies after lies, morgan OUT

Person pitch-invading fans out

27 Apr 2013 23:42:20
I will not step foot anywhere near that club while these fat scouse and
Fat greedy grease balls are still at the club. For the first time in my life I am truly sick of the wolves. We have been robbed by this scouse crook. If I see him I promise I will floor the mug. And moxey u want to hope I don't cross your path you fooking money grabbing fat useless tw**. On the bright side work at six on Monday yaaaay

Here Here, agree 100%.

Threatening people on a public forum?. just the kind of 'fan' we don't at the club!

27 Apr 2013 23:39:54
Thank you Mr Morgan for destroying our club, 4 disastrous decisions have seen us become a laughing stock not just in the midlands but the entire country, 1st untimely sacking of Mick, 2nd O'connor appointment, 3rd not giving Stale 2 transfer windows to overhaul a s*** squad, then Deano, **** me. crap football, crap results. Bescot here we come!

Can't argue, the results of their actions speak for themselves. Wildly out of their depth in any football league. wolfshead.
