It's a shame, ..looking around at the other club's rumour pages they actually have 'transfer rumours'! ...on our page it's purely the negative bile from the like of the realist, mills wolf and paul tamworth that fill the page! ..whatever happened to this being a rumour page??

Take a long look down the rumoyrs page and try to fing a post off me for starters cos there isnt one, and even if there was, are you incapable of just skipping past them to find a rumoyr ?

With wolves doing all there business in strict confidence rumours are very rarley anything other than a dream from any oer excited football manager fan or some albion fan who abit bored

If you dont lile this site then simply dont use it, or if your going to moan then moan about wolves rather then being petty about where people post

Mills wolf

Nice to see you've been quiet for this long, cos your posts were quality drivel!!

In stale I trust top bloke top manager. Just a new team please. It's the players letting the man down not the other way around. Not his fault if they can't pass a ball about properly it's what they are (supposedly) paid to do
Mikey

If you believe that, you are deluded!

Philipp Hosiner and Jeremy Perbet, we should take a look at both of these strikers from abroad.

Call Ray Wilkins, never too late

Why. What has he ever done. Doesn't coach. Acted as an intermediary between management and players at Chelsea.

Can't see the attraction in Wilkins myself. When was the last time he managed a team? All he is now is a pundit. {Ed011's Note - I'd much rather have Wilkins as a First Team Coach or Director of Football but I don't think he's interested in anything but being a manager.

Have a look at doylers interview on feck tv .com top bloke no one can doubt his commitment he's going no where unless he's pushed

Danny

He also said it would be great to go straight bak up this season think he as been drinking the old porter

Probally because no-one is stupid enough to buy him.

Think our main problem so far this season with stale is he has tried to change things to quickly in terms of our style u can only play a way with the players u have got it needed to be done over a period of time the players are clearly uncomfortable with what they are being asked to do so who's to blame ultimately the manager he assessed the squad and he knew what he had to work with as I said before back him or sack him

Danny

if we do not beat ipswich convincingly saturday? i think the words "left by mutual consent" would be appreciated all round!

No truer words spoken 100perent right hope he is man enough to do it

I hope he bloody goes any way ,he is clueless and inept in his tactics and transfers

And I suppose Berra, Stearman and ward are all fantastic signings eh. Some Wolves fans really are a disgrace and I feel ashamed they support the same club as me.
It will take 2 years to change A whole squad and way of playing. Look at Hull, Leeds,Leicester and Middlesbrough etc. Don't you think they would have wanted to go back up at the first time of asking.

He's offered Berra a new contract!Thinks our defence is in top 4 of championship. How many managers have been at the clubs you've just mentioned?Do some research!

Problem is a lot of people on here seem to get Football manager on the pc confused with real life football management. As a poster said in real life it takes about 2 years to change a team. I've said it before and i'll say it again McCarthy is to blame for this mess and it's McCarthys mess Stale is trying to clean up.

{Ed011's Note - What about Big Sam? With West Ham he's bought in a cheap Championship side and got promoted with them, he bought 12 championship quality players (+Kevin Nolan) in the 2011 Summer transfer window and more in January, got promoted and then bought in 11 Premier League players that cost a bit of money but now their 12th in the premier league by the half way point. He's essentially rejected the "West Ham Style of Football" that their fans claim to have had before him but he's got something working.

I'm not saying that that's the way to do it, it's the expensive way, but I think a team can be changed in a season.

Very good point ed but in fairness Big Sam knows the English game and i feel Stale is still learning.

To the guy who can't write anything without using an exclamation mark. That's is one of these ! If you don't know what I mean. Yes I am aware these teams had a lot of managers and I thank you for helping me make my point. It shows that changing managers doesn't help you back to the premiership. West ham stuck with Big Sam and to be fair West Ham had a considerably better squad than our current squad when they went down.

Does anyone else think that the lackluster performances may be down to a large portion of the squad believing their days at wolves are numbered and will soon be part of a mass exodus from the club thus not playing with as much enthusiasm as they should.

I appreciate that to go in one window would be significant change but between january and summer we need to lose the following and replace.

De Vries, Stearman, Ward, Berra, Zubar, Mouyokolo, Hunt, Jonsson, and Ebanks Blake.

One or two others also maybe and id we needed to raise money would consider selling Hennessy as in my eyes Ikeme is twice the keeper and the full package.

people need to relise who will make a difference as a manager

no one

we have a massive squad n 90% of it are rubbish players who think there amazing but lost it a few seasons ago!

january cnt come sooner is ay keep stale give him serious money buy the squad he wnats get rid of are rubbish n see what happens then if its still bad he goes we get someone new n try again

but bringing in someone new now will do nothng we will still have same rubbish players with no passion for the club tht was shown on saturday!

henry is ment to be captian and half on ehre love him n say hes great he is dreadfull saturday was awful for him okay he made a few tackles but hes so slow confused on the ball scared waste of time.

jamie o hara n tongo in the middle henry cn go

Overall give stale wht he wnts it jan let him show us what he cn do wen we have a decent squad!

look at bolton they have the best squad in championship on paper, they now have a manager who nows this league through n through and look at where they are?! proves tht getting an english experienced manager means nothing!

Agree squad too big, case of quantity not quality. Need to build around those with the ability to play quick tempo passing game.

O'Hara, hardly fit after long layoff showed he can see and play a pass. He has the range of passing needed to play Sako in with crossfield balls giving him room to run at full back at pace. Doumbia is worth persevering with as he can run past opponents at will. These two cannot however play defensive midfield role, need someone who can patrol in front of centre backs. Liam Bridcutt of Brighton looked the part against us but so have many others. Perhaps Henry or Davis could fill this role but not convinced. Have options wide and think we are okay in that department with Pennant being sent back to Stoke asap. Forde uses ball better and cant understand why Pennant been used in preference to him.

Bring Doherty, Griffiths and Cassidy back for a closer look. Leave any others out on loan including Ismail and let Charlton keep Fimpong as he is not delivering for them. Lost their way since his arrivel and substituted at half time last game.

Buy a centre forward who can head the ball as we are pitiful at corners and crosses despite quality delivery from Sako. Should be a major source of goals but neither Blake or Doyle are going to deliver in this department Chris Woods would be good option but looks as though he is off to Leicester.Although age not on his side Rob Hulse would be better than we have but not the ideal choice. Anybody got suggestions of player who regularly scores with his head. Fletcher got majority of goals for us with his head but not so at Sunderland. Shows crossing is major part of our gamebut fruitless without Fletcher.

Impressed by Peterborough's 3,5,2 set up with our reject Little impressing as a wingback, role Doherty can play as he has scored goals for Bury by overlapping. Need three centre backs who can pass accurately and are mobile to play this way.....not sure we have any. so probably stuck with back four. Need rid of minimum of three of the back four who played last game. Dont know if any options available within so need to buy minimum of two defenders, LB and CB if Doherty can play RB, if not think full backs are our weakest links. Ikeme is a star and we have options with good youngsters coming through. In summary get rid of all who demonstrated last year that they couldn't cut it in premier and have not stepped up to the plate with effort and application in Championship. Thats minimum of six of last games starting line up and all the other usual suspects who have failed over past eighteen months. Build new team around Ikeme, O'hara, Doumbia, Sako, Sigurdson and at a push one of our present centre backs, although would rather be rid of them as well. Pesko may deliver but think he is a case of 'absence making heart grow fonder'.
Sorry to end the year on such a negative but it has been a pretty traumatic last twelve months. 2012 has been an amazing sporting year for the whole nation bar Wolves supporters for whom it must be statistically one of the poorest on record.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse realised I've been watching Chipmunks film for last half hourand it is the highlight of my last 24 hours.

I'm confused what will happen if we win sat will people cheer or just be glad of the win at the end of the day all it's doing is papering over the cracks

N what happens if we lose do we stamp our feet n get him out or do we just go there's always next time we were unlucky etc

Would SoD be a good fit for wolves or would you go for RDM

RDM you gotta be joking. He wouldn't come to us, he's being linked with Valencia etc.
Yet another fan who living in the past thinking we're a big club with attractive prospects. We're not.

Who says we wouldn't get him depends what SM promises him money to spend etc

RDM has been linked with forest and blackburn

There's a big difference between "linked with" and " becoming manager of". The fans would only turn on him at the earliest opportunity because that's how most of us wolves fans seem to be these days- deluded.

Why not try and actually SUPPORT the team for once. Then players and managers might actually think it's worth coming to play for us.

All three relegated teams lost today which shows how poor the Prem was last year and probably still is!
