Hanging by our fingertips over the trapdoor. Who if anyone from the old squad is worth keeping, they weren't good enough last year and they aren't good enough now. Is Lambert the man to sort it out, who knows. Disgraceful performance under a new manager and a big crowd. How much more of this are we going to have to suffer before we can find someone to defend, create and score a goal.
Roll on January when we can ship some out and get some in.

I agree with every thing you have said, I also think Rob Edwards is having to much say in the team that is being picked. Lambert needs to look at a few D V Ds of the past performances and he will see what we the fans have see over the past two seasons that the defenders and midfield are not good enough. Until the transfer window opens we will struggle and I fear we will ben very poor position.

feel disappointed, angry and dumfounded.
paul lambert if you reading this get your players to run round whitmore reans, heath town and then take them down to bilston. also take them around to all the factories and other businesses and show them what sacrifices and hard work the fans have to deal with if then the players do not understand what commitment is show them the door be cause I want a team that is commited not individuals as football is a team game.

After that performance I think all talk of play-offs etc should be forgotten about, we are now in a relegation fight. Unless Lambert is allowed to seriously shake things up we will be playing League 1 again!

Next game is QPR away. They are on a bad run themselves therefore I'm going to predict a 4-0 win for them.

Can't say I'm very excited by the team lineup again! Costa being the only creativity, stick 2 men on him and we're toothless. What does Cavaleiro need to do to get a start, especially over the likes of Saville. Same as last week, boring football. More than happy to be proved wrong.

It's clear to see that the players are the problem not the manager. Lambert needs to have total control over incoming and out going players.

How is the problem the players when the only players that look like creating anything are the new ones? The problem is that we have these players but don't play them as well as a clueless defence. Cavaleiro has to start!

Lambert will not last long if he keeps playing the players that were not good enough last season and are not going to improve. Playing Price Saville and Coady to cover the four defenders will only lead to boring football and falling gates as well as relegation. One shot on goal in front of 27000 fans is a disgrace, I can only think the manager is being advised by Rob Edwards on selection because the quality that is being left out is the same as when he took temp charge.

That's what I mean. The players that have been here a while just ain't good enough. All the coaching in the world won't improve them. KJ and Zenga worked with the established players and neither could get them to perform. Now Lambert has the same group as Zenga and again the coaching doesn't look like it's working. 3 coaches with different ideas which none of the players can implement suggests that the issue is with the players.

Hate to say this, but it was as I predicted. Could have been worse. We don't need lots of new players. However, we do need to lose 8/ 9 and recruit 3/ 4 quality goal scoring tried and tested in this and prem to help us stay up. Stears has to go back to Fulham for a start. He has done a job for us in the past, especially league 1, that's where to story ends. We recruited some foreign quality and no mistake. They were in the minority I'm afraid. We all know who the standouts are. All the rest and some have to go. We are sinking like a lead weight under the pressure of players who are not up to the mark. Please move them on so we can get quality in and move up! 😉.
