Am I being naive or ignorant but is there money to be made in recruiting young talent and sending it out on loan? Over the last couple of seasons Wolves have signed a lot of young players who have been sent out on loan but not made it a Molineaux. Saville is a prime example but there have been many more, McAllinden, home grown but in the same category. They have not come cheap, absorbing money that could have been better invested in players that would improve the team. It continues to happen, youngsters being signed who will not make the first team for at least 5 years but nobody being recruited to improve the prospects of promotion. KJ keeps insisting the any signings will only be made if they improve the team but this is patently untrue. So why is it that we keep absorbing our transfer budget by signing those who have no chance of making a difference in the foreseeable future? Is there money being made, or are we just recovering the costs of recruitment and general employee maintenance?

I see Jackett has been given a new script. Together with the usual line of everyone is working really hard behind the scenes to get people in, he is now trotting out the new line that the injuries mean opportunities for other players. For goodness sake give the man some money and let him bring some quality players in. We're going nowhere fast and the fans are not stupid so stop treating us like mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed on sh*t. )
We've lost the heartbeat of our team - Sacko, Stearman and Afobe and then injuries have robbed us of Zyro, Edwards, Graham, Sigudarson. Why is he not playing Jack Price never ceases to amaze me. We seem to be bidding for people we are never going to get (maybe just so they are seen to be doing something, ) and missing out on good targets. Surely if we bid for some foreign striker for 3m and get turned down we could divert that money towards securing Zach Clough who was supposed to be joining Bristol for 2.5m. Just who the hell does fit our profile? Low earner, low achiever, low expectations, lower league, low fee just about covers it.
I know we're in a period of limbo but this is taking the mick now. That 10 mill must have been paid in fairy dust! Not happy 😡.

Wolves U21 league record this season. P14 W2 D2 L10. Doesn't fill you with much confidence for the so called ones for the future. Get rid of Thelwell now before he does anymore damage.

Read interview somewhere and it not about results more how player can adapt to different situations etc also we play mixed age players were as most teams play one age group only if u looked at u18 they only lost 2ges in league so far and play lot good teams but do agree it not exactly promising when look at u21 results.

Guessing it was a thelwell interview and you've fell for it.
He's also got to take responsibility for all the trash bought in the summer supposedly for the 1st team squad and none of them are goid enough for the championship none of them are playing either on the bench or out on loan. How can we keep letting him do this, we could have bought in 2 decent championship players for the dross he's bought to the club and just maybe we would be in a playoff place.

See that Ismail came on for last 30 minutes in the U21 game last night. I wonder if there is any chance of a final twist in his story. The first 100million pound player or another Mark Davies or Kyle Bennett. Could do with the player we hoped he would be right now.

One off biggest grips this season is why do we always hoof ball upfield from gk rather than play it out from defence and build -what part off it don't work do wolves not understand -rubbish tatics -never win headers from it.
