Billy Wright you're happy? Don't get that 1. we're rich. wheeling and dealing days are over. so we sell to buy. come back Morgan and moxey. all is forgiven. and mick get him back. some fans really live up to Wolverhampton label a lot of people give us.?

26 Apr 2017 19:26:58
I have the answer. We need two managers. One to select for away matches - Lambert, and A. N. Other to manage the team for home matches. Simple.

27 Apr 2017 03:16:17
Well now we're talking opinions, we need a quality manager to attract quality players and other Structual changes around the club. Marco Silva if possible please. selling our best would be extremely disappointing and send out a clear message of lack of ambition, as far as I'm concerned. 👍😉⚽️.

26 Apr 2017 17:20:04
Many people on here want to see the back of Lambert. I think he deserves the summer to influence who we bring in/ get rid of an oversee a full pre-season. If we are looking same old story by end of October then pull the trapdoor lever without hesitation. Just my opinion of course.

26 Apr 2017 18:10:26
It's all about opinions, but in my opinion your wrong 👍.

26 Apr 2017 18:15:30
What would you do if up to you?

26 Apr 2017 18:49:41
He's only on a rollin contract so I'd finish him after Final game. I would of contacted Mendes and other agents and have a list of available managers on my desk. I would also clear the coachin staff and Thelwell, plus any players who's contracts expire in the summer I would release them as there aren't any worth keepin. Then I'd appoint my new manager and allow him to bring in his own back room staff, then I would allow him sufficient funds to bring his players in. its not rocket science and with Fosuns fundin it makes it a lot easier.

Honest assessment. We are targeting the Premiership and have financial backing to support that aim. Based on what everyone has seen since he has been in post; who in their right mind thinks that Lambert is the person to deliver this. His one dimensional, uninspiring tactics will never get us beyond bottom half of Championship. Body language of players yesterday showed that they have totally lost faith in his tactics. (If hoofing the ball in the air and hoping upon hope that something will come from it can be called tactics)
Straw that broke the camels back. with 10 minutes left and one down he brings on Dicko. So far so good, may as well sacrifice defender and push extra man forward! Who then to sacrifice? Silvio, who since Graham came on had linked well up the left and showed that he could play. good touch and good vision. Ok perhaps his lack of playing time meant he was out on his feet although he didn't look to be. Could and should have taken of any one of other three defenders as they were all struggling and offering nothing going forward. Here comes the proverbial straw. details Marshall to fill in at left back in order to keep a back four!
Marshall's body language showed his disbelief. From that point onward Graham's fleeting influence disappeared completely and we failed to produce a single forward threat. The man is clueless, the football is dire and surely the writing is on the wall.
I can't believe that any fan with any semblance of tactical nouse who endured Saturday and Tuesday debacles can believe Lambert is the answer. If he is I would like someone to tell me the question.
I really expected him to be sacked with immediate effect last night and hope that it happens asap.
Marco Silva should be our number one target. We have big plans and big financial backers
, we need a manager with the capacity to deliver and there is absolutely no way that Lambert is that person. Don't like saying this as I always support fellow Scots and don't like to see people sacked but I am only wanting the best for our club.

26 Apr 2017 19:49:18
I would approach Marco Silva, his recent record with Hull speaks for itself. I don't think PL can get us up and no way on gods earth next season. The squad is at best average, few good kids but not a lot else.

26 Apr 2017 21:38:17
Excellent post Scottish wolf, just about sums the clueless fool up. Cannot believe there are some fans, (minority obviously) that want to keep him and are happy with what they are seeing! Paul T it ain't rocket science is it and we can see what to do, just hope Fosun see it too 🙏🙏🙏.

26 Apr 2017 16:27:49
I know everybody is going to say I'm unrealistic but why can't we sign John Terry? He's on a free.

He could come and be a proper captain, it would be similar to when we got crazy horse and just like he steadied us toward the league cup win, JT could steer us toward promotion. I personally think it would be brilliant, a proper English centre half captaining one of England's great old clubs.

It's nice to dream, but I suppose the reality is the same old rubbish we've been used to.

26 Apr 2017 17:27:30
I'd love to see him at Wolves, it would show real ambition not to mention he's just the type of defender we need, however he is a Londoner and still wants to play in the Premier League. I think he's nailed on to go to West Ham to be honest.

26 Apr 2017 20:12:23
How many hundreds of thousands of pounds per week will we have to pay him?

26 Apr 2017 20:27:23
Probably the equivalent of the sum of all the rest of the useless defenders we got at the club but we are owned by some of the richest people on the planet so that shouldn't matter. Supposedly.

26 Apr 2017 22:48:23
Brummiewolf, how would it show real ambition by signing a player at the end of his career? I'd rather see my club show ambition by signing players, hopefully big players, who are in the prime of their playing days.

27 Apr 2017 01:56:38
I mean it would show real ambition to get out of the championship ASAP. He would cost a lot of wages but he'd be one of the best central defenders in that league and would be great to have around the club for a year or so. The young guys would learn a lot from him. First things first-get into the premier league. A bloke like him for a season would be a good move. I'm afraid big players in the prime of their career like you're suggesting just aren't going to move to a championship club no matter how much money our owners have. But they will as and when we can offer premier league football.

27 Apr 2017 10:38:35
There's no way JT could play Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday. Our defence is very poor, and we drastically need a solid centre half and leader. But we need one to play regularly and set up a solid defensive partnership in the middle, and organise the back 4.

27 Apr 2017 10:43:07
Why would he turn down playing in the premier league or abroad at a decent level to drop a division and play several more games in smaller grounds in front of smaller crowds?

27 Apr 2017 12:22:35
He might if he was offered a player coach role with a route to management. Can't see that his arrival would be less than positive afterall many of the existing squad need a good kick up the bum.

26 Apr 2017 13:22:25
Ok so we are declaring this season over, by the looks of things, let's start the clearout in no particular order, Lonergan, Stearman, Batth, Saville, Gladon, Bodvarson, Dicko, Silvio, Wallace, Henry, Ikeme, Mason, Onion, Iorfa, Evans, Saville,
Saiss, Borthwick Jackson, and any other on loan players I have forgoten we have. Then QUALITY NOT QUANTITY signings please.

26 Apr 2017 15:01:46
Saiss was bought for £3.4 million, Hednesford.

26 Apr 2017 15:12:14
Marco Silva please. Let's start moving forward. 👍😉.

26 Apr 2017 16:15:21
Trouble is WOLVESCOAST whatever happens with Hull he has proved he's a premier league manager so I think it will be difficult to attract him. No harm in trying though 👍💰💰.

26 Apr 2017 16:37:07
Money talks PT 👍😉. We need to move up a level that's for sure. 👍.

26 Apr 2017 17:14:57
AGREED 👍.

26 Apr 2017 19:52:02
def push the boat out for Silva, shown already he has what it takes.

27 Apr 2017 11:38:02
Email gestifute@gestifute. com
Ask them if We can have the services of Marco Silva when his Hull "city of culture " stint ends.

29 Apr 2017 00:29:53
Absolutely correct wombourneron, on 30th August. Good to know there is someone on here paying attention to the facts, rather than myth and fiction.

26 Apr 2017 12:43:29

I would imagine that your wish may come true but only in part.
It has been my experience that the close season is used for just that purpose.

26 Apr 2017 10:30:11
Honestly why would anybody want to watch this rubbish. Dream on Lambert if you think a pre season will make any difference. Bodvarson was awful and if you are subbed every game at half time then that tells you something. These may be nothing games for Lambert but whatever team you tinker about with the fans are being treated to dross week after week at home. If players can' t be bothered away from home but not at the Mol then get rid. The only bright spot was to see Jordan Graham back on the pitch. Silvio looked like he might know what he was doing but the rest of them don't have a footballing brain between them.

26 Apr 2017 20:52:00
Agree with Lambert our goalkeeper should of saved there goal but I am not convinced with the football he plays if you call it football, it's very dull with no creativity whatsoever and it will cost us with fans not comeing to watch the boreing football he tries to play at home, away we are very good on the counter attack.
After last night with another awful performance again which seams to be every home match, Fosun must take action now and sort this mess out from top to bottom, it's clear it's not working, to watch Wolves play is very hard to watch these days at home and I can honestly say that I am losing interest with these players we have, the spine of the team is no were good enough and needs changes now.

26 Apr 2017 01:08:41
Wednesfield Wolf for manager.
We need some passion, excitement, a striker, some goals or at least some time in the other team's area.
This is our love and it knows no division.
We were here before Lambo and will still be here when he's collecting his severance cheque.

26 Apr 2017 00:10:04
Stearman price savielle Evans bodvarsson must go there league one players. we are a league one team and if not for Costa would be in the bottom 3 now. time to spend 35 million in the summer. on (PROVEN) quality.

26 Apr 2017 06:31:35
I don't disagree but I suggest that you add Dicko, Coady, Batth, to the out list. We need to give PL a chance to shape the squad in the summer then give him until Xmas.

26 Apr 2017 07:06:36
Agree North bank62.
I don't think PL has had the chance of a full transfer window and pre season to shape his own team.
God willing he will be given the funds he needs and he can persuade the players he wants to come or stay at the Mol.
Then if all that happens and we're still performing like the last few months (or seasons! ) then there's no excuses, he'll have to go.
I just think its only fair to give him a good chance to get his own team in.

26 Apr 2017 09:24:58
When a player like Edwards can only make the subs. bench as a Wolves player, then I will now we will have a decent side, until then we will be an average championship side fighting relegation.
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO PLAY A HALF DECENT MATCH AT MOLINEUX, NO ENTERTAINMENT WHATSOEVER.
THERE ARE TO MANY PLAYERS TO LIST TO GET SHUT ON, THEY TRY THERE BEST, BUT ARE DEFINITELY NOT GOOD ENOUGH, AND I STILL CANNOT MAKE MY MIND UP ABOUT LAMBERT PERHAPS I WILL NOW MORE IF CONTRACTS ARE GIVEN TO CERTAIN PLAYERS WHICH IN MY OPINION SHOULD BE MOVED ON EG. SAVILLE, WHY EVANS WAS GIVEN ONE I WILL NEVER NO ESPECIALLY AS HE CANNOT GET IN TEAM OR ON SUBS BENCH UNLESS INJURED.
