reports of a vast increase of neck injuries in wolverhampton as wolves fans are having to look up in envy at Leicesters league position ..... jimlcfc

It's a long season... Tried buying promotion last year and that didn't work.

Carry on eating yer bag of walkers

Little red fox i'd watch out cos the big bad wolf will eat ya.

Didn't we beat you this season! And we played bad as well that day. So shhhh

I've heard of premature celebrating but in October ha ha that is ridiculous. Stone Wolf.

When hennessy comes back and you see the difference in quality you will realise that you are all being complete morons

What is Peeing me off about that night wasn't that we defended for too long ,, it was that we had no decent players to bring on . Edwards and Stearman are useless and should have be replaced by now ,that is were SS is going wrong,
Putting trust into those players will not do him any good and hope he wakes up and realise's this.
Well done Doyle just make sure you do it in most matches not 1 in every 30 matches

Quote from Jermaine Pennant

"Sometimes it can be three games a week in the Championship and, when I asked Kites [Michael Kightly], he told me that the training's short and sharp and there's a lot of football, which is good".

Training is short & sharp -does this explain why the players are tired and lack stamina to last for 90 minutes?

stop wingeing stales doing fine give the bloke a chance to find his feet 5th place it seems to me were nicely placed for this time of the season

Teams that go down with the parachute payments should be up there.

Yeah but it will take time to get up there with a new style of play and a new manager who likes to do things his way so it will take a while. Also i would be happy with play offs this season.

Having witnessed the game last night, I am consoling myself with a couple of major positives - Kevin Doyle was back and Roger Johnson is at long last the cb we signed. If we could now turn the 45 minute team into a 90 minute one we could consolidate our position in the league. It was too soon to shut up shut and taking off both our strikers flagged up our willingness to sit on a one goal lead. The equaliser was on the cards for a good twenty minutes before it happened - Mark Davies + a persistent Bolton side is a heady mix. We're on the right track just some fine tuning needed. Bring on Saturday.

I love this "Happy Clappers" term! What does it mean exactly? If you're happy and you know it clap your hands??

From what I can see we have the "Happy Clappers!" Fans intelligent enough to understand that Wolves have had a major over haul during the summer and since! That we are doing well in the league with a new Manager, new coaches and almost a new team! They can see scope in the side and understand that there will be continued improvement throughout the season and that we will be there or there abouts come May! They appreciate that at this level Stale will not be able to get defenders good enough for the Premier League so he has to work with what he has got! Get us promoted then get in defenders that are good enough! Why buy defenders for the sake of it that won't be up to the task when we go up? We will be left with more dead wood that we can't move on! What he is doing makes sense and is prudent!

Then we have the "Unhappy Non-Clappers" or is it "Unhappy moaners?" or is it "Never be happy Whingers?" What do you refer to yourselves as? I really don't know! Now these guys want another clear out because Stale isn't up to the task and they want an English/British manager in!! He's had long enough to turn us into Premier League/Champions League contenders and failed miserably!! He's simply not up to the task!!

Really!?!?! Are you guys serious?!?!? We are lucky enough to have a guy in charge who clearly knows what he's doing and has a record domestically and in Europe to prove it! You haven't given him a chance! He's been here such a short time that I bet they haven't got his name on the door yet! If you think for one second that he's had long enough and you are giving him a fair crack at it you are deluding yourselves! You don't improve things overnight and sometimes things have to get worse before they get better! I for one am delighted we are where we are in the league and know we have good times ahead under his leadership!

Get behind the Stale Revolution and it will come good! The Special One couldn't have sorted out what MMc and TC left behind at the end of last season in such a short time!

A Happy Clapping Wolves Fan

{Ed011's Note - Thank You. Someone has some sense.
A Happy Clapping Ed

Agree 100% mate, get behind SS. WFE

Agreed can all the persons who jump on the team and stales back at the first opportunity h**k off to the e&s comments page, I've never seen so many moany, negative opinions in one place before! Yes last night was a bit disappointing but we got a point and Bolton are regarded as having one of the most talented sides in this league.
We've had clean sheets, improved player performances, great signings, played some attractive football, have got an intelligent football minded manager, and we are looking like top 6 at least is going to be on the cards! But people still moan like they take points dropped as a personal insult! As with the original poster I would more often than not class myself as a happy clapper even though I find this labeling of being a certain type of fan ridiculous, at the end of the day if your bot going to be supportive of your team and try to help them by getting behind them and spurring them on, honestly, WHAT IS THE POINT OF SAYING YOUR A WOLVES FAN
Mikey

I was at last night's match and yes I was very disappointed; the second half was very, very poor. However being a true football fan means supporting your team through bad times and good; through lousy performances and great performances so I still totally believe in Stale and what he's doing. One poor performance does NOT make him an idiot so it would be better if everyone would support the team and not lay down on the floor having a hissy fit, whingeing and crying like some 4 year old whose mommy won't buy him an ice cweam, wahhhh!! Doncaster Wolf

Im happy clapper! I like clapping! :?/)

Can I just say that I hate the new wolves web site!! Argh!!!

24 Oct 2012 12:00:58
So we only got a point against a side who were relegated but were well above us last term and they pressured us well second half as we did to them first half. We are still work in progress and Doyle did score 2. Be positive big improvement to last term . in Stale I trust.

In Stale, I also trust.

why is everyone on about and want hennesey back he shouldnt be let back into the team straight away i think he wont get first team for atleast after christmas and he dont desurve going straight back into first team , ikeme has done amazing and people keep saying he is mistake prone? are you kidding , how many mistakes has he made? get a grip people ikeme is going to be first team for ages yet.

Have to agree Ikeme is making me eat my words about him being mistake prone. He certainly has been brilliant but time will tell.

I have never heard a more deluded piece of drivel, hennessy would have saved some of the goals that ikeme has conceded, as he's a better shotstopper. Also his kicking is much better, did you see how many times ikeme put the ball out for a throw-in from a goal kick.

24 Oct 2012 11:24:22
I personally think blake & doyle will score goals in this league, but i feel we need a commanding centre forward who can hold the ball up as well as winning headers and who can obviously stick the round thing in the net.
Looking forward to january transfers

For all the moaners.
Real life and Championship manager are two different things.
Championship and football managers are just computer games they are not real.
Real life fooyball is what it is you will win some , draw some and lose some.
In reality no true Wolves fans would ask fot stales head so soon as we know the squad is being rebuilt and it takes time to gel. So give it a rest or bugger off and support Man City if you want instant glory.

24 Oct 2012 09:26:34
This isn't negativity just an observation, we seem to be struggling against the better sides in the league and the 5th place is papering over the cracks somewhat. Leeds, Cardiff and Huddersfield away and Palace, Bolton at home 5 clubs currently in the top 7 and we managed 1 point. I still think we will have a good season and we've had injuries new players/manager settling etc but it is a concern. With the side we have i'm just hoping for better. Stone Wolf.

A good and accurate observation stone wolf.

Call me amoaner but tonites performance was crap.at least 4 new players are needed just to make us average.

...Best we have played first half for a long long time... Match fitness to improve by pennant and a few others and well be ok. Just need to make these 1 half performances last for 2. Certainly not a great performance second half. But at least give them some credit for the way they played the first. I for one can certainly see what Stole is trying to do, and I think its finally getting through and to be seen on the pitch. A 2 - 2 draw to Bolton could prove a vital point, they are probably the best team in the league and with a new manager on the way would have been eager to impress. In the first half we blew them away.

Moaner.....
