if wolves are going to progress in this league then we need to keep hold of jarvis 20 million is a great price but the price of relegation is far greater.we need to strengthen not weaken and for what wolves are willing to spend jarvis is way better than anyone we could afford to bring in if wolves need to sell then players like berra/ stearman/ hunt/ should be first out.

Get rid of hunt are you mad

20m is bull villa won't offer that, but if they did ill take it and get Danns and johnson from blues

Hunt was one of our best players towards end of last season you nutter!

Villa will never offer £20m for Jarvis but agree we've got to talk sensible, I think a reasonable bet would be £10m plus Dunne but still think Moxey will haggle. As for Stephen Hunt - obviously you didn't watch Wolves towards the end of last season as he was immense!! He ran the game against Albion and a fit Hunt is a better player than a fit Jarvis but Hunt's age goes against him and Jarvis still hasn't peaked.

Bobbybuffon

You sure hunt ran the game against wba cause as i remember we wer under the cosh for most of the game. granted it was a brilliant result for us but the score line was not a fair reflection of the game. ask yourself did you really watch the game numptey

Ps a injured jarvis is better than a fit hunt

After his England call-up exactly what did Jarvis do, the only thing of note I remember was a great cross for Fletcher away at Sunderland other than that I think he was average but before that he was excellent, but I think McCarthy dropping him for Hunt against Albion goes to show he was not in form and Hunt's man of the match in that game I think strengthens the argument, I was at the game and ok perhaps running the game was a bit OTT but he still got motm. But an injured Jarvis over a fit Hunt - the logic of playing with 10 men just seems idiotic to me.

Bobbybuffon

I think the person meant to say an 80% fit Hunt last season was almost as good as a jaded Jarvis. We should be trying to hold onto both players if we really want to show ambition.

If villa offered £20m for jarvo we would be stupid to refuse that sort of money. We could buy a decent replacement for next to nothing or just not buy another plenty of good wingers here and coming through. Hamill left Gorman right would be my choice.

I agree, but I'd have Hammill on the right, and Hunt on the left. Both just as good as Jarvis in my eyes.

Hunt is wolves worst signing ever his first touch is sh*T work rate is poor waste of 5million why we chased him for so long is beyond me total waste of space

A fit kightly will do well in the prem as well!!

If Tottenham hadn't scored in the last minute of the season, steven hunts goal would have kept us up, never mention the other goal(s) he's scored to gain us valuble points to keep us up! Surely that alone is worth it!?

Just look at his passion 3-0 down to stoke he comes on and is squaring up to huth cause he cares. His performance against baggies was faultless and the goal against b'burn rovers special.

It was more of a hit an hope against bburn. and spurs did score so it counts for nothing

Spurs scored after Brum had thrown everyone up knowing they had to score because Hunt had scored for us!! (Redknapp admitted this as he'd turned to Mcleish to ask why they'd gone Kamikaze) and it wasn't a mis**t it was a great strike.

Hunt was s**t at the start of the season but at the end hi and flech saved us not jarvo

Who is this joker?? Have the decency to use a name if you're having a pop at Hunt. Of course he didn't start well for us he had a broken foot and probably came back too early and wasn't properly rehabilitated so was his desire to play. He had a hernia operation came back for the last few games and was awesome, far better than Jarvis who after his England cap went average (I'm a season ticket holder so don't think about questioning my lack of watching Wolves) plus we didn't pay £5m for him. We offered £5m to Hull in January the season before last, Hull went down and we picked him up for £3m - £3.5m so if you're going to bi*ch please have a fact based arguement you nimrod.
Bobbybuffon

Meooooow cat fight well even at 3.5mil its still 3mil to much. and as for a broken foot and lack of desire there just bullsh*t excuses.you maybe a season ticket holder but were do you sit in the disability area because your obviously blind.

I have no idea where I sit at the moment because they're knocking down the Stan Cullis Stand so I can't answer the question for this season but no it's not in disabled section and the fact that you have had to stoop so low as to mock the disabled is quite admirable, no more to add after that me thinks.

Don't make me laugh as if fletcher will go to Bolton or Stoke ha only player that could leave is Jarvis nobody else will move trust me I have close links

I reckon Jarvo may go to Villa if they get rid of Downing , I reckon the deal will involve cash & a player swap IE Richard Dunne or Barry Bannon.

FLETCHER WOULD WALK TO BOLTON AND TEAM UP WITH COY, TRUST ME

After declaring he wants to stay at Wolves.Yeah good one.So you & "COY" can go bo**ox cause that's all your chatting is pure shizzle my dizzle.

I assume Mr Anonymous is Fletch's best mate then as he knows he'd walk to Bolton!! Doubt very much he's a Bolton fan so you're basing your arguement on him having a good relationship with Coyle. Well guess what, he has a good relationship with the Wolves players as well, check his Twitter page he's always bantering with Matt Murray and George Elokobi.
Plus we paid £7m for Fletcher so on today's prices you're looking at £12m plus for Moxey to even listen to Bolton and Bolton don't have that kind of money.
Bobbybuffon

Fletcher would walk to Bolton due to BOLTON being a bigger club and him not getting on with Mad Mick,

Since when have bolton been a bigger club

Why on earth do bolton think there a big club??? Fletch would never leave for bolton, they couldnt afford him, bunch of step-toe rats

When have Bolton EVER been a bigger club? Top Division Titles = Wolves 3 Bolton 0 - Top Division Runners Up = Wolves 5 Bolton 0 - FA Cup = Wolves 4 Bolton 4 - FA Cup Runners Up = Wolves 4 Bolton 3 - League Cup = Wolves 2 Bolton 0 - League Cup Runners Up = Wolves 0 Bolton 2 - UEFA Cup Runners Up = Wolves 1 Bolton 0 - Average Attendance 2010/ 11 Season = Wolves 27, 695 Bolton 22, 869 - I agree the facts speak for themselves yes Bolton clearly look like a bigger club, what a plonker

Cant see the Jonny Evans one coming off. Although if you think about it i suppose he is 5th/ 6th choice at Man Utd and Mick has tried to get him on loan when we were in championship. So i suppose it could be a relevant link.

Taggart aka Ferguson may want him to gain a bit more premier league experience , Wolves could offer him that , he would be a decent edition to the squad bearing in mind we are looking at Mills who has zero premier league experience , I reckon we could get him on a loan deal would wages be a stumbling block though ?
Gibo.COYW.

Just thinking , would this be a ploy to light a flame under ar**'s of Reading & BCFC ? Wolves are quite crafty in the field of transfers . remember 2 days before signing Fletcher Moxey said " We are not looking at signing a forward"
Gibo.

Think you could be right here.

I can see us trying to get him on Loan but getting him more experience wouldn't be the reason Fergie would agree to it as he played several games last year due to Ferdinand and Vidic being injured most of the season - it's more likely they have more options now and aren't quite sure about his ability at the top European level so may send him out on Loan and see how things develop from there.

Norwich want Wayne Routledge , thank god.
Gibo.

I agree hes crap

He's rapid but s**te
