Am I the only one who thinks we have it in us to be promoted next season? Like I'm seeing constant gloom-and-doom type posts of a Garunteed Relegation dog fight.

Think about it- Carl Ikeme is a quality keeper and having Lonergan will only help the cause! Much better than Martinez (In my opinion) .

Williamson has a lot of experience and was amazing when he came on loan last season- Yeah Batth can be inconsistent but we've got Ebanks-Landell who can be rather solid (and shaky) so may need another defender (perhaps a RB so we can play Iorfa at CB) .

Midfield is great- Coady never stops running, Macca can create magic. Price is also an engine and with Lee Evans coming back it seems we have a large pool of midfielders to pick from.

Yeah. We need a striker, But hopefully we snatch that guy from Anderlecht (The big lad we were rumoured to get I forgot his name. ) or Matt smith from fulham. They would suit dicko and head in a few goals. Especially with people like Graham and Henry crossing the balls. Jed Wallace has shown promise and Ofcourse Doherty is a quality player.

It geniuenly isn't as bad as it could be, however We do need Jackett to actually become more proactive as a manager and make substitutions and not leave one of best players out of midfield. I suggest Jackett to go but if not then it's not all over.

Just thought I'd try put some optimism into the matter and To be honest I doubt anyone's actually reading this as it's definitely a mouth full.

More chance of Scotland winnin the 2016 Euros than us getting promoted with that squad and manager!

23 Jun 2016 23:22:54
illuminaticonfirmed are you really Kevin Thelwell?

23 Jun 2016 23:49:18
Just trying to find a shred of light in this dark entirage.
I mean call me deluded. but I'm definitely not being payed by the pie man to say the above I promise.

24 Jun 2016 06:36:33
You Should be mate! Another 20k with your mindset and he will give himself a pay rise!

24 Jun 2016 08:46:49
illuminati if you are being serious just look at pour squad in depth it is paper thin you may see a decent team on paper but the majority played last season and feel flat on their face. Williamson yes Coady andEvans is a big no, you seeing things that aren't good enough. That's it.

24 Jun 2016 10:13:39
We need players badly to get were I want this club to be, challenging for top 6 finish at least, why how why although Morgan is selling club does he not invest a little bit of is wealth to get we there as it is in is best interest with all the millions being offered in premier and also helping him to sell club quicker.
Let's face it we don't now how Williamson, Dicho, and Graham are going to perform after there serious injuries it will no doubt take time the striker crises needs sorting it's a joke at the moment, it's goals that win football matches and to think Henry was our top goalscorer says it all, if it carries on we will be fighting relegation next year that I do now.

24 Jun 2016 12:00:07
I understand we have underpreformed and it's potentially not looking that great- and I'm not saying we're going up next season, I just feel that the general feel for next season is a total disaster, I forgot to mention saville who definitely has grown through the 2nd half of last season, scoring quite a few goals. However, I realise things aren't the best at the club right now and we are being milked by the fat man for his economical gain, but I don't feel we will do as bad as the majority think.

24 Jun 2016 12:02:53
illuminate, I read your post mate. Funnily enough I reckon we're better than we think. WE just need to believe in ourselves and hope for better luck next season.

24 Jun 2016 13:18:55
This deal for syilla taking it's time seeing as only needed work permit prob held up at Eu so we stuffed now until they Finnish their strop.

24 Jun 2016 17:18:21
Sylla won't be happening, smoke&mirrors' if they prove me wrong great.
Just expecting the usual couldn't get him over the line story, and before you know it, it's too late to turn to a back up' oh dear look, the start of the season etc etc.

24 Jun 2016 21:53:23
All deals put on hold apparently. Have investors got anything to do with this? Personally I think its a good bet they have!

25 Jun 2016 08:34:34
@spainsh wolf hope you are right about the new investors it has gone very quiet if is due to new investors perhaps there looking to get rid of jackett and moxey live in hope.

23 Jun 2016 12:14:39
I reluctantly voted to remain in the EU. I don't like either option really, but I felt being part of market without trade barriers was better than being outside. If the remain side do win, I hope it causes enough of a shock in Europe to make some real change.

23 Jun 2016 12:41:46
Knowin what u know now about the eu would u of voted to join? If the answers no why have u voted remain? Each to their own but I've voted out.

23 Jun 2016 12:59:54
I have voted out, don't want to be told what to do by a majority European elected government who we now nothing about which keeps taking but gives nothing back, need to get out now
Reminds me of a certain Mr. MORGAN at Wolves were he keeps taking and gives nothing back.
Coming out of Europe and New Owners for my beloved WOLVES are my 2 wishes.
One can only hope.

23 Jun 2016 14:07:21
clive if you voted remain but want a shock to the eu wasnt that a bit of a wasted vote, you do relise we are chained to the eu market,5th biggest economy on the planet'who do you rreally think gains from us staying in, not us but the failing states of europe'think bigger picture, look beyond to the other markets we will be excluded from because of eu meddling.

23 Jun 2016 14:09:30
bigwolf, if they were elected by the populace it wouldn't be so bad, you could vote them out'but they ain't are they, its all done behind closed doors.

23 Jun 2016 15:28:05
Don't want another emigrant coming here unless he's some mega rich Chinese intent on buying wolves and doing an LCFC with us
Had enough, I'm out.

23 Jun 2016 16:30:27
Doog2. I think you mean immigrant. Emigrants are the people leaving this country.

No vote is a wasted vote. The one's who have the ability to vote and don't are the ones wasting it.

I did give it serious thought over the last few days. I, like I suspect many, want to trade freely with Europe without all the other nonsense. But if we leave we will still have to pay to access that same market and abide by the same rules. It's better to be there and have influence others, and where possible veto any decisions.

23 Jun 2016 17:01:28
The veto we have Clive ain't worth the breath that 1st mentioned it in europe.
Anyway enough politics, it's a football site so I'm told.

23 Jun 2016 17:11:22
Thats the problem we have NO influence none. They give us 60% of our laws now how does that work when we didn't vote for them and the laws usuaully do not suit our needs.
The system is broken it has never been updated, They want us in as other countries want out and if we go others will follow for sure, Holland for one.
I voted out it is the only thing they will listen to. Trade or no trade it is not worth what we have to pay in and actually restricts who we can trade with in the rest of the world, how clever is that?

23 Jun 2016 17:59:58
Britain and Influence in the EU? 😂😂😂 Were looked upon like something on the bottom of your shoe!

23 Jun 2016 18:31:24
You are right jimmyjones. But at least it was a different discussion to somebody having a source telling them Joe Bloggs is buying Wolves and then never happening.

By the way, has anybody else heard about this billionaire called Joseph Bloggs buying the club? A source close to the club says it will definitely happen in the next 10 years.

23 Jun 2016 21:03:46
I voted tactically to leave. I believe our best interests are in a by narrow REMAIN vote. This will be a yellow card to the EU. Reform, or we demand another referendum within five years. I assume the bookies are right about a large remain vote, therefore I voted leave to do my bit in securing a narrow main vote.

23 Jun 2016 22:23:28
Well done deep throat I agree.

23 Jun 2016 23:19:13
13% of our laws are EU generated not 60%. Veto is worth paper it is written on as has been used successfully in past and could be used in future if we remain. fastest growing economy in Europe has been achieved in EU and through access to single market All respected economic forecasts say Brexit will damage economy. Migration has brought huge economic benefits to the country and many of our institutions, most notably the NHS would collapse without immigration. Days of Empire and Ruling the Waves are long. We do however still sit a centre of the financial world with the City of London retaining its pre-eminence. Why jeapordise all we have gained through past involvement in the single market for some out-moded idea of past glories. We are a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural success story and we should all be proud of that and recognise that we are what we are because of our long history of immigration. I voted Remain and fear for our future if the result goes otherwise.

24 Jun 2016 07:02:16
Oh Scottish eloquently presented and I agree with every word. But what chance is there arguing against the propaganda of the popular media and Boris. We've walked into this with oureyes wide shut, but I guess that's democracy.

27 Jun 2016 14:30:26
It's the bureaucracy, the cost, the gravy train for some and the unfair voting system. 28 countries with equal voting rights irrespective of their financial committment. 3 billion euros wasted every year just because the parliament moves to Strasborg for a few days every month, just to keep the French happy. I'd be happy to stay in the EU if there was a complete overhaul but that won't happen. It's a house of cards now.
