Can someone tell me why Moxey is still allowed to stay in his position when we are all aware he has a job lined up with Norwich. I can't believd he's allowed to stay and effectively spy on us from the inside. He will know our targets, players wages and bonuses etc and a wealth of other info. Do the new owners not have someone to step in whilst we find someone to replace him. As soon as he said he was going he should have been given garden leave as a minimum. Hope the new owners are a bit more switched on that what I've seen so far. You don't let someone carry on working for you in a highly sensitive position when they are going to your main rivals in a few months. Funny how the delays and red tape prevented us from getting the manager and players we had lined up. Get him out now.

23 Jul 2016 21:53:02
The ink is barely wet on the takeover and already there are many negative posts.
Maybe we do need a new manager who can lift us to the prem. Just remember that KJ came in when we were at a real low point and then won L1 with record points. Second season played some good football, just missing out on playoffs - we all know we punched above our weight that year.
Last season was not good, negative, boring to watch football but the heart of the team was ripped out by either injury or transfers. Was this KJ's fault?

The new owners won't have invested to fail, give them a chance.

23 Jul 2016 20:21:51
Robin li is apart of wolves. After Monday we will be the richest club in English football. It's all low key at the min but come Monday the s@@t will hit the fan πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘.

First post found this on Twitter interesting read. If only the deal was completed sooner.

guillem balague talks to new spain manager julen lopetegui

23 Jul 2016 21:53:35
In other . Elvis is dead!

23 Jul 2016 22:08:05
Welcome to the site, but sorry, old news. Folks been talking about it and trying to understand what it really means all day.

23 Jul 2016 21:32:39
My thoughts are we were going to get a manager who not one of us would have come up with so the new owners must be getting some serious football knowledge from someone

We may have lost him but it shows KJ is not wanted (why would that change now? ) so we would have known for a few days we would not get him so they either had a back up plan or started looking. Being as we almost had the Spanish manager are they really going to appoint Bruce or Martinez? I doubt it

I have mentioned Pellegrini before and I will say it again. Julen said it was an interesting project. Which in short means big money transfers and big names and trying to take Wolves to the top end of the Prem- why else would he come?

I am not sure if the players linked will still want to come without Julen so we may have had to get new targets but this would have come from a new manager so I think we already have/ had someone else in mind. I think he approved the sale of KMac too

Why wouldn't Pellegrini not want to challenge? He says he wants to stop in the UK

I am sure people will have things to say on this but I think Monday could be an amazing day they can't turn up with no signings and no manager or the whole thing is pointless and you don't go from announcing the Spanish manager to Steve Bruce

Also the 20-30 mil came from Morgan which I think was sly and felt it might have been a dig as he had to promise 30mil invest but he let them say 20-30 mil (obv less than him) - might be wrong but just putting it out there and I feel the invest will be far greater than this along with some amazing loan signing- poss from Benefica.

23 Jul 2016 22:14:02
Interesting post and I agree with the logic. Others have suggested we are in talks with Marc Wilmots from Belgium - suppose he'd fit your theory, although with no club experience since 2005 when he was sacked from a very mediocre team, I'm not so sure he's the right man personally, but get where you're coming from.

23 Jul 2016 23:11:58
Pellegrino is our sorry of guy, knows what he wants, likes attacking play a very honest guy.

24 Jul 2016 01:43:26
Pellegrinni is not going to happen. It's embarrassing even suggesting it on here to be honest.

24 Jul 2016 01:43:26
Pellegrinni is not going to happen. It's embarrassing even suggesting it on here to be honest.

24 Jul 2016 02:11:04
Would be nice bit as lincs points out'not a chance.

23 Jul 2016 20:14:33
Everything Balague prophesied was true of course! . However.
No Robin Li
No Lopetegui
No high profile players upon acquisition.
Jorge Mendez is decidedly quiet! . and finally do people really believe Lopy now he has got what he really wanted all along?

23 Jul 2016 21:20:08
Robin li was involved with a consortium called POSUM trying to take over 80% of ac Milan, maybe robin li is still involved as reported in interview with julen lopitigui today with sky sports maybe the consortium was misheard or mispronounced and its fosun, I believe he's still involved as gulliem balague insisted.

23 Jul 2016 21:20:08

23 Jul 2016 20:09:53
I'm just wondering if Fosun go back to Morgan, demanding a refund because the goods they have brought are definitely faulty!

23 Jul 2016 21:19:40
Some people are never happy. Can we please let the new owners at least settle in before you start hounding them out and when they bail, wonder why we ain't progressing. Give them a chance .

23 Jul 2016 23:17:55
Chill'it's called taking the p**s.

23 Jul 2016 19:39:29
Don't worry after watching that garbage today I don't think he will be the manager come dinner time tomorrow. Something big is going to happen at our club in the next 48hours. We want premier league so do they. Come Monday we will all be saying we didn't see that coming 😳😳😳😳.

23 Jul 2016 19:33:39
Kenny stated he as a meeting to discuss future plans. tomorrow. wait till after that to throw a paddy.

23 Jul 2016 19:15:30
Kenny Jacket will be staying. As manager. the deal was set up for Lopetgu to take over. Lopetgue has admitted he had been doing a lot of pre planning so the 5 plsyers we were expecting through Mendes will not be coming. There is no back up plan as they were certain of Lopetgue. so KJ will stay for the present. Lopetgue has stayed he would have been manager now if the Spain job had not been offered so he was part of the fosum group plan as is Robin Li. if it looks as though KJ is staying then I wouls expect Paul Tamworth to honour is word and not post on this site again. i'm not a KJ fan but believe they have no other option at present and don't believe Mendes players will arrive. but we are Wolves and patience is needed the good times are close so get behind the team .

23 Jul 2016 20:08:45
If JACKETT stays there won't be any point postin on any message board, it will be same as last season and I'm not going to be repeating myself over again! But Pete u may be tryin to be clever but your obviously not very bright when u say billionaires haven't got anyother options especially with their contacts? Tell u what if JACKETT stays I won't post again, but if JACKETT goes u don't post again?

23 jul 2016 19:11:05
oh my god what's going on at the mol, jackett staying or going? let's hope for a major hurricane to blow around there at 12 pm on monday + get rid of of all the deadwood.

23 Jul 2016 19:10:14
When Balague asked Lopetegui about the involvement of Robin Li in the negotiations, he said he's the main man behind "the group" that has taken over Wolves.

23 Jul 2016 17:23:09
Just been to the vale, KJ looks like he's given up, never got off the bench with his head down most of the time. Makes you wonder if he's been told that was his last game.

23 Jul 2016 17:40:19
After watching his first wolves match our new owner has asked for his money back 5in mid field against port vale 1 up front God help us if we keep the jackett.

23 Jul 2016 19:06:33
We aren't strong enough in midfield, to play 2 strikers FACT why don't any of you see that!? When dicko is back 4231 should be our formation, it's best suited for Dicko.

23 Jul 2016 19:15:59
Hope they were looking for Pokemon, because they daint see any football!
Coady who was bought as a young goalscoring midfielder appears to have developed into a right back!
Kept a clean sheet though, so all ok in Jacket world.

23 Jul 2016 19:45:07
Wolf, you're right we aren't strong enough in midfield to play 2 up front. However, you have to ask yourself why? We also can't play Mason up front on his own - pointless. So, option (a) we carry on like last year, watching crap 0-0's, boring football or (b) you do something about it.
Personally, I'm with option (b) although apparently that's being negative.

23 Jul 2016 17:16:33
Kenny says he has met owner Jeff Shi. Says they have spoken about the squad. Wants to settle situation down now and prepare for season.

23 Jul 2016 16:05:05
Marcelo Bielsa anyone.

23 Jul 2016 16:16:01
Possibly him or Marco Silva JAKABAN.

23 Jul 2016 18:37:09
Bielsa left his last 2 jobs without kicking a ball in anger. 2 days was it at Lazio before he fell out with owners? Good choice!

23 Jul 2016 14:36:35
My cat just told me that David Beckham is Wolves next manager.

23 Jul 2016 14:48:48
What a cat!

23 Jul 2016 14:51:46
Marco Silva ex Olympiakos boss?

23 Jul 2016 15:57:24
Few managers with top level must be tempted. bruce not for me.

23 Jul 2016 17:20:28
I mentioned Marco Silva at 9.29 yday morning, if he gets job I want to be crowned as King ITK (even though i'm not) :)

23 Jul 2016 14:35:43
Bring on Giggs and ince.

23 Jul 2016 15:33:51
No chance just read what's been said and leave the riff Raff behind.

23 Jul 2016 14:15:58
Lopetugi interview states he would have been wolves manager today if Spain hadnt come along. Also mentions Jacket knew this also. And he thinks Robin Li is still involved. hmmmm.

23 Jul 2016 18:37:02
He actually confirmed Li was behind the deal. If only the deal had gone through a day earlier we would have had a different Manager today. Searching Spanish papers as heard Mendes in talks with one of his Managers. May be a connect I don't know!

23 Jul 2016 19:26:40
Isn't anyone suspicious that he may merely be trying to dig his journo mate out of a hole for getting it wrong? Can somebody tell me why Li wouldn't want to bementioned if he's involved?

23 Jul 2016 14:10:35
Just been to put money on Bruce being our next manager and they won't even give odds on it happening, surely they would offer odds if there was any truth in the rumours?

23 Jul 2016 14:14:38
No vacancy yet that's prob why.

23 Jul 2016 14:28:25
Very true, think jacket that will get the bullet after the game today and new appointment announced Monday, well that's my hope anyway. Bruce is defo my choice, if anyone can gain use promotion it's him.

23 Jul 2016 12:48:57
Stuart Alves I feel a right Smug bathplug after reading this above. I was a poster that stated Wolves were being bought and the announcement was to have been made on the Thursday. As it transpired it wasn't the Thursday stated by me and so I came on the site and ate humble pie. This piece by the Spanish guy nails down everything I said was true, Robin Li is involved. A board clearout was to take place, Moron and Poxey were being replaced, a war chest would be made available, The Spanish guy was involved and the only thing I need to see are the players being announced on Monday. But, I am truly not on here to gloat. Only to say, my contact told me the reason it did not take place last Thursday was Morgan was not releasing the Compton training facility and was haggling, he wanted to lease it out thus still having an income from it. The Spanish coach states above Red tape fecked up his appointment. Steve Morgan your legacy is rubbish mate. Shut the feckin door when you leave you douchebag. Well rid.

23 Jul 2016 12:57:52
You called it spot on mate and thank you for the heads up.

23 Jul 2016 13:02:53
Stu anything off your source who new boss will be? Pellegrini name has come up today?

23 Jul 2016 13:07:25
Well said Stu, you could guarantee he would try something back handed he just has to.
He did the same when trying to buy Liverpool, at the very last minute he tried to half the price down and they called his bluff and he was told in no uncertain terms to go do one.
Good riddance.

23 Jul 2016 13:13:01
There’s been so much said one here I haven’t got a clue who said what. All I know is that Ulf must be confused what to do now if Robin Li is involved along with Fosun. Does he continue to support Wolves or not?

23 Jul 2016 13:34:05
No offence but the facts as we know them are, Li not involves, Lopetigui not the manager, no multi million players waiting in the wings. Everything else is just conjecture.
Then we get 'heard Pellegrini mentioned'. By who? Somebody else on here with a wish list, then others join in with the bs.
Lets see what monday brings or somebody come up with facts.

23 Jul 2016 14:17:00
Nice to speculate Poz! Stop bein a miserable F---er and don't read this board till mon afternoon then! Simples.

23 Jul 2016 15:24:51
P. T, i'm waiting mate and I enjoy the speculation but for christ sake folks stating, 'theres 3 groups, 1 chinese, 1 english and the other i'm not sure about' thus covering every possible base and as s result being put up as in the know, just amuses me. Speculate, but don't pretend the fact you know someone in the club shop puts you itk. Looking forward to a bit of excitement next week. (my source says that monday will probably come after sunday but definitely before tuesday)

23 Jul 2016 18:09:59
The next cat past molineux will be black, white or another colour according to my source.
See I was right.,

23 Jul 2016 18:14:14
St

Well said matey.

23 Jul 2016 12:45:09
My mate whose dog once bit the dog owned by a groundsman at villa who had a chicken tikka from me tikka outside molineux says steve Bruce will be manager by the first game z.

23 Jul 2016 16:07:44
Paul Tamworth.
My info comes from a guy I sit with on the Away coaches, he's away on his Hols, so sorry mate nothing on the manager.

Can't wait for Monday 12 pm.
Jeff Shi is here at the Vale.
He's here with John Gough, so let's hope he's getting a heads up on the set up at Mol or lack of.
πŸ‘πŸ˜œπŸ‘.

23 Jul 2016 19:02:57
Hopefully JACKETT is finished tomorrow, then we can all look forward to bright future πŸ‘.

23 Jul 2016 11:58:28
Bet the new owners are checking these pages constantly. Doesn't anyone actually think they might just have a "plan B"

23 Jul 2016 13:09:30
The moronic hoardes don't think like that it all has to be instanteous like pressing OK when they play Championship Manager.

23 Jul 2016 15:35:38
Bruce and giggs as No 2.shoot me down n ill start sharpening my gold n black toffee hammer 😊.

23 Jul 2016 11:53:15
Very interesting. And while the new owners are indeed a Chinese company, Fosun International, the name of Robin Li - the Chinese multi-billionaire originally thought to be the man behind the takeover - has dropped off the radar - or has it?
When I asked Lopetegui about the involvement of Robin Li in the negotiations, the new Spain coach told me that he is the main man behind "the group" that has taken over Wolves.

23 Jul 2016 12:26:42
If you don't mind my asking Wolf2666, and I understand if you'd rather not disclose, but how did you manage to personally get in contact with Lopetegui?

23 Jul 2016 12:49:21
Stuart Alves I feel a right Smug bathplug after reading this above. I was a poster that stated Wolves were being bought and the announcement was to have been made on the Thursday. As it transpired it wasn't the Thursday stated by me and so I came on the site and ate humble pie. This piece by the Spanish guy nails down everything I said was true, Robin Li is involved. 23 Jul 2016 11:47:40
I think whoever they choose as manager will be a improvement. It is believed that li is still the man behind it all. I for one am very excited about the future, everything has been positive so far this week, I can not wait for the start of the season.

23 Jul 2016 12:16:29
To be realistic, until the infrastructure is in place it will be next season we would expect to be challenging. This season starts in 2 weeks time. We need to hit the ground running. At the moment we are no where near. It only takes a few games and we could be chasing catch up well before Xmas. Let's all stay positive but not get carried awa.

23 Jul 2016 11:33:06
So reports suggest we are being linked with Martinez and Bruce and fans getting high rate about both but where has this rumour come from?
Is it just because they are both available?
Have Wolves officially stated they are interested in either?

23 Jul 2016 11:15:49
Read Sky Sports article - Balague talks to the new Spain boss. The reasons why he turned down Wolves. He comes across as a very decent bloke. Shame! Obviously all was in place, players etc had he been appointed. I would guess we will have to start all over again. Let's hope the same agent is still involved. He has't been mentioned at all following takeover.

23 Jul 2016 12:01:14
Will that cleared up a few things
Sound a very decent got we missed out there.
So Jorg Mendez tasked with finding another World Class Coach.

23 Jul 2016 11:14:15
Reading other sites and with the Spanish coaches interview about Li still bein involved JACKETT will definitely be gone. Roll on Monday. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

23 Jul 2016 11:32:36
Pellegrini been mentioned? Now that would be a show of intent! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

23 Jul 2016 12:22:23
That would be an amazing statement might take bit convincing to drop to championship but if could see that new owners serious about building on what we already have it might be enough to tempt him - and he a decent bloke aswell.

23 Jul 2016 21:25:08
Pellegrini? Are you sure? Anyone willing to pay Β£50 million for Sterling can do one!

23 Jul 2016 10:35:57
As we are throwing manager name out there, what about Patrick viera, I know he has really experience, but with the rift backing could attract quality players.

23 Jul 2016 10:32:55
So has anyone seen that robin li might in fact still be part of the purchase?

MASSIVE NEWS!

23 Jul 2016 11:53:40
Also read the article on sky. So confused. If Li is involved with the fosun buy out surely that changes everything again. Hope Monday's press conference answers our questions. What a roller coaster of a week it has been.

23 Jul 2016 10:29:02
We are not the third richest club. The owner or business wealth has no bearing on the club. It comes down to what they are prepared to put into the club. Anyway, we all no the takeover has come too late to make an immediate impression. Let's get behind them, be positive, stop thinking of the negatives. It was only a couple of days ago we still had Morgan. There's a lot to do but it will get better, much better. Out of Darkness Cometh Light. Hopefully a bright light. We are WOLVES.

23 Jul 2016 11:14:44
Let's face it how could any wolves fan say they enjoyed the style of football if you could call it football we tried to play last season anything as got to be better than that and now we have our wish with Morgan and Moxey going .
We will no doubt find out what ambition the new owner as when it is clear to every fan that we need a new coach/ manager to take us forward as Kenny made to many mistakes for me with is team selections and formations, we need to be positive now and get behind team and enjoy the ride.

23 Jul 2016 10:16:01
Just read that robin li is still a major factor in this deal aswel as fosun group on sky sports interview with that lopentue guy from what I can gather wolves are Gona be a great force again read it and give your opinions just imagine if he involved aswel 😱.

23 Jul 2016 10:42:52
Keep saying it. why would Li - a multi billionaire in his own right, effectively hide behind another billionaire consortium? Doesn't make sense.
And how can Mendes negotiate best deals for players if he's their agent as well. conflict of interests maybe?

23 Jul 2016 10:05:00
Just read the interview with Lopitegui ( spelling) and Ballague. He says that the length of time it took to complete the WOLVES is the reason why he took the Spain job in the end. He also says it is Robin Li behind the group and its an exciting time for Wolves.

23 Jul 2016 11:02:24
And while the new owners are indeed a Chinese company, Fosun International, the name of Robin Li - the Chinese multi-billionaire originally thought to be the man behind the takeover - has dropped off the radar - or has it?

When I asked Lopetegui about the involvement of Robin Li in the negotiations, the new Spain coach told me that he is the main man behind "the group" that has taken over Wolves. Β£Β£Β£Β£Β£Β£Β£Β£Β£Β£Β£πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘that's gulliem interview with julen.

23 Jul 2016 09:56:31
Moyes appointed manager at Sunderland.

23 Jul 2016 09:38:41
What about Gary Neville as the new gaffer, just garnering opinion?

23 Jul 2016 11:21:58
Gary Neville disaster at Valencia sacked in a few months and he didn't do England much good did he? As for Giggs never had a proper job apart from playing. We need experience.

23 Jul 2016 09:34:16
Bruce is definitely not the next manager. The owners have 5 multi million pound players lined up with Mendes helping to source a new manager. The plays might even be in before the new manager but Bruce is not even a consideration.

23 Jul 2016 09:55:43
Where did you get this info from?

23 Jul 2016 10:47:30
If there were 5 multi million pound players waiting patiently, why don't anyone know who they are? Mendes can't negotiate with himself to sign a player. how can these players come without a manager in place? Or are we going to force them onto Jacket so he can put them on the bench with Mason to prove a point? None of adds up.
I suggest we may identify the manager Monday and then it'll be a scramble for players before the window shuts.

23 Jul 2016 08:23:41
At the end of the day KJ Signed dicko Hause zyro Henry afobe so y not give him a chance even fergie signed flops and look what he achieved.

23 Jul 2016 08:40:12
Did u not go to games last season! Wake up for.

23 Jul 2016 09:08:59
We need a statement of intent. Words are cheap ( remember Morgan saying similar) . Ignoring new owners, on the performances of last year alone Jacket could/ should be sacked. Keeping him on is not exciting me.

23 Jul 2016 08:12:40
Why is there so much negativity about Bruce? The championship is like a tin can and Steve bruce is an experienced can opener. Then when you are promoted to the premiership you get a chef like martinez, moyes, Hughes, however etc. Horses for courses boys. plus can't be worse than solbakken πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

23 Jul 2016 09:19:35
Haha brill metaphor!

23 Jul 2016 08:01:47
I think that we should go for Giggs simply because of his profile. We need to attract players of top quality and with Mendes involved and his Man U connections we will certainly have that. He would need coached around him so why not phelan and ince.

23 Jul 2016 08:12:21
No management experience, poor networking as only ever been at one club.

Being a good player doesn't necessarily make you a good manager. Just look at Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho. Etc.

Going for giggs would be ludicrous.

Someone like Michael Laudrup would be good.

23 Jul 2016 08:29:49
Too inexperienced.

23 Jul 2016 02:47:11
Graham turner.

23 Jul 2016 08:12:51
Graham Taylor lol!

23 Jul 2016 10:07:22
Chris Coleman.

23 Jul 2016 02:41:09
Why don't we keep jacket? It proves if he has the money he can get decent players eg afobe and zyro there's no point in changing the manager yet.

23 Jul 2016 08:28:33
Because he's inept and out of his depth didn't you
see last season?

23 Jul 2016 08:30:37
Lol, were the 4th richest club in English football and u want to keep JACKETT? Really hope our new owners ambitions are far higher than yours! JACKETT has never got a team in the top 6 of the championship he's mediocre at best as proved last season.

23 Jul 2016 09:51:48
Steve Showcase and I stood together at quite a few away games last year and people asking for Kenny Jackett to stay are obviously a very shortsighted and definitely not ambitious. I have supported Wolves home and away for 55 years, without a doubt the football last season was definitely up there with the worst Iv'e ever witnessed. KJ is clueless, a poor tactitian, and has poor man management.

We Wolves fans have also endured poor management decisions, poor treatment and suffered at the hands of what can only be described as a demi-god in Moxey. His main role at Molineux seemed to be, not do what is best for Wolves or it's future, quite simply he feathered his own nest and lined his pockets.

We have new owners and a new beginning, , let's bloody wait until Monday and discover what is to be our fate, we are second guessing and all we are achieving is what Moxey loved doing, dividing our fans, playing one against another and splitting the opposition. If I have one criticism of the new guys is that they decided to leave Moxey to help with the transition, he is a nasty piece of work and will wothout doubt stick the knife in at any opportunity.

I feel certain he's had a Golden arse kick and will do all he can to F#*k up our plans. Keeping KJ he knows would well and truly put a spanner as opposed to a Spaniard in the works.

We have only to wait for Monday now guys, if it's a return to Glory days then let's all enjoy the moment, if they are just taking Morgans mantle then I will join the moaners and make my feelings known as strongly as the rest of you.

I know what I witnessed on the 21st of July 2016, the moment the sale was leaked by BBC, I decided yes, I was going to Rotherham, so I went up to the ticket office. The place was buzzing, the queue went out the door and the ticket on-line sales were taking 1 and 1/ 2hrs, there was an air if excitement about the place.

Come on guys let's not do Moxey job for him, stick together another couple of days and see where we're going.

I feel sorry for Fulham, they've been ripped off. Maybe they are planning to go down to division 3.
Overrated, gets caught in possession way too often. Good riddance.

Don't know about you but I'd be delighted with Steve Bruce as manager. Hopefully a double announcement at the press conference on Monday.
