So much for bug Sam not wanting to be back in football yet when he allegedly got approached by wolves.
The money grabbing lout has just took the manager role at west ham.

Allardyce always said he was not coming back into management until after Christmas. Therefore he was not available when we were looking for a manager. Currently, we do not have a vacancy, so I struggle to understand your point.

He was manager at West Ham a while back. He has just been appointed manager at Crystal Palace. Slaven Bilić is the current manager at West Ham. Sam Allardyce is also usually referred to as 'Big Sam' not 'Bug Sam'. Just a few facts to put the record straight. :-)

He is bug sam lol it was supposed to be big sam but i'm using a tablet so no need to spiill your sherry dear chap.
The article I read said West ham but they have changed it to Crystal palace so you are correct there have yourself another mince pie as a reward.
He took the job today so technically it's before Christmas but would you trust him now?
Anyway my sherry and mince pie comments were meant in humour have a great Christmas :) hopefully we'll have a better second half of season too.

Good response RKO. I do understand the problem with tablets. Personally, I would like to see the return of semaphore or the aldis lamp.

To answer your question. I understand your point, but he is free to do what he wants jobwise. I certainly don't feel any resentment towards him wanting to go to a premiership club with a higher salary etc.
My comments were meant 'tongue in cheek' and I hope that you and all who use this site have a really good Festive Season. :-)

Question not a rumour. Why do we miss out on so many young prospects on our own doorstep? Good range of lower league and non-league clubs in our sub-region but their young prospects invariably end up going elsewhere. Is Cohen Bramall, a 20 year old LEFT BACK ( now that's a position we've struggle to fill successfully for a few seasons) from Hednesford having trials with Sheffield Wednesday, Crystal Palace and Arsenal! Have we been tracking his progress? If not, why not?

We could of built a good team out of players we let go, and to see them achieve there ambitions some of them playing in premier makes me so angry eg. VOLKES AND FRIEND TO NAME TWO, the one player that's been talked about now is Sam Winnel of Barnsley scoring goals since we let him go.
Why how why, do we keep making the same mistakes as a football club is unreal, I hope Fosun can get to the bottom of it and take we forward and get we playing some good football that we can be proud of, only time can tell, b our luck as to change some day.

Sometimes clubs get it wrong. A certain club down the road once let a striker go because they didn't think he was good enough. What was his name? Steve Something. Arsenal also said Billy Wright was too short to be a footballer. A record company once said The Beatles would never amount to anything. Let's be honest, Friend and Vokes are hardly world beaters.

Didn't say they were world beaters Jas M, all I meant was they are better than we have got now, can you honestly tell me out of the team we have now who would make it in premier.

As much as we all like Costa if he wants to go and play higher let him go his loss like sake and Afobe where are they now in stiffs league his loss move on

I don't think he himself has actually said he wants to go. Therwell has disclosed that he will not sign a permanent deal unless we are promoted. Likewise Sako didn't demand to leave and opted to run down his contract and had we been promoted, he would have stayed. Afobe on the other hand clearly wanted to go.

Jas he is using us as a stepping stone.
No way will he sign for Wolves.
Marshall is his replacement.
Winnall and Rhodes or Jerome will be additions.

The problem I can see is that we will become a feeder club for other teams, for the premier if we don't start challenging ourselves and get out this Division, the good players we are bringing through will only play at this level for so long, then if we are still in the same position they will move on.
We need to bring experienced players in to play with our good young kids, it's the only way.
