blues have and sill are loosing players left right and center. so why dont we offer £7 or £8 million plus a player or two for dann ?

I would be in seventh heaven if be came to the wolves but I think one of the big boys will snap him up before the window closes, my money is on Liverpool but I would love to be wrong

Liverpool buying Coates - Uruguay defender. Maybe Arsenal will go for Dann...

I thought Arsenal were more interested in Cayhill so maybe if Liverpool are after Coates there's a chance. After our start and with Dann be a big mate of Johnson's there's always a chance. Give it a go 3 m's. UTW

I would love to see Dann at Wolves but I doubt it will happen ,perhaps during the January transfer window if he is not bought ?
Gibo.

The "Big" clubs are after Samba (Blackburn) & Cahill (Bolton). Wolves will get Dann on deadline day.

I don't think it would take 7-8m plus 2 players to get Dann. If Arsenal and Liverpool are in for him then I'm sure he'll probably go to one of them, but if they are interested why have then not completed the deal already? I think we might get him on deadline day for a reported £7m but is actually £4.5m.

Will Blues have enough players to field a full team in September?

How many people can get a nane wrong ??? EMNES is his name! Also dont want to sign bullard! High wages always injured abd a complete idiot whos past it now he aint a DM so no he wouldnt give henry a run for his money, go in for dann a bid just to get the ball rolling and see if arsenal or liverpool have the balls to go in for him and take a gamble, you never know it migjt just come off

How many people can spell might not migjt ?

Bullard used to be on high wages but not any more i would take a chance but on a sensible wage if he wanted more then say no thanks and as for dann i think we may put a last minute bid on him, if we was to put a bid in now it would start a bidding war and as we know we won't win that

Please God not Bullard-for a start he is 32! May as well go for Barton!

The whole Bullard thing does fly in the face of the "young and hungry" catalyst.
Gibo.

Just read this on SSN - Blackburn boss Steve Kean admits he would be interested in signing Jimmy Bullard if he is short of midfielders.
Gibo.

I cannot see this being true. I'm sure MM does not mind some light hearted banter within the squad but I cannot see him tolerating a joker like Bullard.

Excellent summary. I was at the match on Saturday and Henry probably had (for me) his best game in the Prem. I have criticised him plenty in the past but if he carries on like this then we would be insane to sell him.
C'mon Wolves boys, give him a fair break and encourage him insteaad of just moaning at him. We are Wolves!!

MM says signings unlikely but the doors open but only just something could happen but don't hold your breath

But how far is the door open lol be glad when the window is closed now

Well who no's he must still be after someone though sayin there could be 1 signing but unlikely

If the doors just open it won't be bullard hes head won't fit through

Lmao that actually made me laugh but very true

He played fantastically especially c

Completely agree, now he isn't captain too he's looked like he can concentrate on his own game. It annoys me when everyone wants us to press forward constantly when it's 0-0 when we should be patient on the ball then we punt it up the pitch and Henry doesn't do that.

If Bullard is the best we can do then we might
as well not bother at all. As for Doyle, it's no
point selling him for just cash we need a decent
replacement in return.

If I hear another anti-Henry comment I think I may lose faith in our support. Agreed that Henry isn't a top class footballer, some would argue a good case to show he isn't really a premiership CM for his ball skills. However, that ISN'T his game in our side. He is a destroyer and more importantly an excellent coverer of holes/gaps left by other players. Do you think O'Hara could dribble around and into players which he did on at least 4 times on Sunday, if he thought Henry wasn't there to cover him, if he lost the ball? No! Did anyone else see the amount of time he broke moves up before they started on the weekend?
He covers spaces left, Ward took a run down the wing on Sunday, lost the ball and immediatly Murphy switched the play to the 'vacant' LB position, but who was there to win a header and generally hold up play until we got our shape back? You guessed it, Henry, and that wasn't the first time he'll do that this season. Henry makes the team tick, and he even added almost double figures worth of forward passes into his game Sunday, so even that isn't enough for some. Not ever player is on the pitch to look 'good' or do the flashy stuff. Ever successful club, especially in our league, needs a man like Henry. True unsung hero, and much maliagned, if he did go to QPR we would miss him so much, you would all finally realise.
Cheers
EdM
