Karanka 9/ 2 favourite for the Sunderland job.
Don't know if he's based himself in the north east but it's got to be attractive to him. Could be another one we have missed out on or is it Lambert is staying after all?

22 May 2017 23:49:03
Nigel Pearson, Kevin Phillips And Roy Keane are all shorter priced than Karanka.

23 May 2017 07:49:19
Only thought I have Tom Tit is I agree with you! ⚽️👍😉.

22 May 2017 19:31:51
The more you sit back and anylise what's going on at our great club the more obvious it is to me that this is just Mendes toy shop now.
He's just gone to his Chinese mates with more money than sense and has told em to buy wolves and he'll make em some more money. they dropped the ball with zenga and got Lambert in to steady the ship. although he's not a great manager by any stretch he had a plan and could see the club needed a complete overhaul. but he's never going to get the job because he's not a yes man so get ready for the same thing to happen this season as happened last. we might get away with it again or we might not but sooner or later the luck will run out and it'll end in tears!

22 May 2017 20:42:50
What a load of rubbish. Fosun are massive. They
Make more profit in a week than mendes does in
A year.

22 May 2017 21:22:36
Keep burying your head in the sand eggnog.

22 May 2017 18:53:14
Just because I'm bored I'm going to start a Rumour jagielka and clichy to join Wolves on free transfers.

23 May 2017 21:03:01
Sam Allardyce plus Hennesey and Sako - a trio from Palace in - all in one week. Then the exits: Cavaleiro, Costa, Saiss, Silvio, Henry, Price, Duckens, Oniangue, Gladon, Dicko, Deslandes, Ebanks-Landell, Ikeme, Lonerghan. A big clear-out.

22 May 2017 17:44:01
I see that Moyes has quit Sunderland . He should of stayed at Everton .

22 May 2017 19:21:24
When ManU comes knocking it's hard to say no. He will find it hard now. Either a drop to the championship where he can drop in an out of clubs like McLaren or an overseas job. Or Scotland.

22 May 2017 23:57:52
Moyes is going to WbA. Pulis sacked on Friday.

23 May 2017 05:46:49
Oh that's good news maybe we can have Pulis then! 👍😉.

22 May 2017 15:45:43
IF lambert is leaving then Karanka wouldn't be to bad of a choice. He has a good philosophy where he believes in two first team players in each position. However he's a bit negative.

22 May 2017 17:14:05
As a Football club we need to evolve not revolve! If we carry on as we are, we will just revolve as evolving takes time, it's also vital that the captain of the ship is the right person. So far all the club has done is pickup dross, put dross in get dross out. Simple as that! Simples! Karanka is a good manager, but his teams play boring football. If we all are happy with that then let's go. No revolution at the Mol, evolution please! Sit tight, because here we all go again, waiting for the next chapter of this Drama! . ⚽️👍😉.

I fear the Wally is coming with his brolly .

22 May 2017 17:41:45
NOOOO!

22 May 2017 15:20:42
I'd like to thank Richard Stearman for his service to his home town club. He's a true wolf and in my opinion did a job he can be very proud of. I'd like to see him return one day, perhaps to the coaching staff at some point in the future. All the very best to him and Stears please don't score against us next season. If he does I bet he doesn't celebrate.

Mind you looking at Conceicao in an interview he did with French tv he must have an hard life. Idont know how old he his but he looks like he has been married about five times and still counting the cost of it all.

22 May 2017 13:26:30
Looked up the Portuguese manager Conceicao now managing at Nantes. Not sure how long forMr Kita the owner of Nantes gets through managers even quicker than Fosun. Played for about ten different clubs. Porto Inter twice also Lazio and in Belgium. Turned down Leicester City to become their manager. Managed to bring Nantes back from the brink and seems to take no prisoners. in terms of discipline . Also managed to get the strikers at Nantes who seemed to be acarbon copy of Wolves strikers in the fact they forgot how to score goals. He got them sorted . Might be just the bloke we need. The other guy Couceiro another Walter by the look of it.

22 May 2017 12:30:48
I am somewhat confused with the Portuguese manager mentioned. Seems to be different ways of spelling his name . ieCouceiro or Conceicao. Are they the same guy.

22 May 2017 12:39:32
Two different people.

22 May 2017 12:40:02
No, different people. You might remember Conceicao from Euro 2000 when he put 3 past Germany although usually used as a sub from what I recall.

22 May 2017 09:50:25
So much for fosun learning from their mistakes. its like going back in time 12 months with the exact same things happening again.
Also can someone please explain to me how it's so plainly obvious that we need a couple of Captain like garden in midfield and yet we keep saville and price who couldn't poll the skin off a rice pudding.

22 May 2017 09:42:52
I know a lot people where asking about the new kit and why it hasn't come out yet, well I emailed the club on the merchandise side of things and asked few questions got these answers

1. The kit will be released between mid-late June, that's just when they've decided to do it

2. It's with puma and the shoots have already been done.

22 May 2017 09:54:04
Nice one Matt, any idea what colour the away one will be?

22 May 2017 09:55:08
Maybe Hause will go early and release some photos again.

22 May 2017 08:24:46
people thinl bout claudio rannieri i'd like him.

22 May 2017 09:48:46
With No coach/ manager at all we could of played better than we did at home, we were awful in so many games, the entertainment value was zero, so why would you want to keep Lambert is downfall was playing square pegs in round holes and one up front at home nearly every game, and to keep saying we played well, when we were awful was a joke.
that's takeing Wolves fans for idiots, we have to find a way of playing at home and until this is sorted we are going nowere.

22 May 2017 10:10:57
Where has this come from? Most of us have moved on and awaiting a successor.
Stop beating yourself up its history leave it there.

22 May 2017 10:17:16
Agree DerbyWolf.

22 May 2017 08:23:03
I think at the moment the problem we have with Lambert is his coaching and technical ability, what he and his assistants are attempting to do at Compton is definitely not working whoever the players he has got to work with. The argument is not about who he signs, it is more about putting a side on the pitch who are organised, know what each other is doing and have a style of play that suits the team. The only way he knows how to play is if opponents let us play on the break, unfortunately when we are at home teams don't let us do this and that's where he falls way short.

22 May 2017 09:35:54
I certainly agree that the current squad players could have produced much better results than they achieved. That has to be down to team selection and tactics. I don't believe the squad is any worse than Wednesday and Huddersfield and others.

22 May 2017 09:38:06
Very good comment Hemwolf, its the home form that as been dire and nothing as been done to improve the performances and let's be honest about it some of those home games have been the worst games Wolves fans have watched, so there is only one way to go and that is find a new coach/ manager to correct the situation and hopefully we will get there in the end.

23 May 2017 07:41:51
Hemwolf that is the most sense I have read on here assessing Lambert in a long time. Good managers define an effective style of play that matches the abilities in the team. Then they relentlessly drum that into the team till everyone understands it and it becomes habit. Lambert initially chose to apply the pressing game introduced by Klopp but after nearly two years with good players Liverpool are still work in progress. Huddersfield have had better results earlier but with a smaller squad and less challenge but Wagner still had a first half season to learn the ropes then a full pre season. Lambert has struggled with the quality and flexibility of the squad. He hasn't been helped by trying to rotate the squad to meet the crazy Saturday - Tuesday demands. Finally he seems to have moved from pressing to counter attacking. It is still early days but I have to agree the team have not played to a clear system.

If you think the football under PL is boring. wait till you see how karanka plays ☹️.
