3 weeks and your going on all ready! This is going to be the year for us. I personally hate friendly matches it means nothing ok we get to gel a bit but 4/ 5 weeks together training is better plus no stupid injuries like today. 30k fans getting behind our new look wolves with the best fans in the world. We need fire power big time and it coming the next 48 hours 3 plus players πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή.

23 Jul 2017 12:05:36
4 games 10 days. double training. come xmas this will make the different.

22 Jul 2017 20:31:01
It would be nice to hear from Nuno and what he thinks of the last couple of performances, I'd like him to come out and say that's not good enough for a team with aspirations of premier league football.
I want him to come out and say all will be ok and that yes we've signed Jota and 2 strikers are on there way.
That would calm us all down.

GodBless Wolves, GodBless Fosun πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ™.

22 Jul 2017 21:23:53
For all who knock Jack Price in my opinion Motm for the fourth game running.
Get the stats from the game and compère Price to Edwards. you will be astounded.
I went to the game expecting very little I came away distraught.
We have the personnel to play a solid 4 4 2
If you play wing backs they have to earn their corn non did so play em as full backs.
Don't get me started on strikers.
Zero dicko Mason really. strikers shikers stinkers
4 players short realist reality.

23 Jul 2017 09:25:29
Price LOL.

23 Jul 2017 12:49:53
If I were a Wolves player British or otherwise, after seeing what that guy did to Neves in the first 10 minutes I would be pulling out of tackles and 50/ 50 balls. That's exactly what I saw, and quite feckin rightly too.
Conor zro an leapt 4foot into the air to avoid a cruncher up at the Shrewsbury end, the player almost took him out at the level of the 5 Cervicle Vertabrae. Not that much of a spirit of freindship about yesterday.

23 Jul 2017 14:31:51
Shocking officials too.

22 Jul 2017 20:08:52
Got bullied off the pitch to day these new players gta get used to the hussle n bussle of English football 2-0 loss to Shrewsbury pre season or not is embarrassing dickho is useless God now's why some fans rate him or want to give him another season to prove him self he had that last year so did bod we got rid of bod. Even tho in my eyes he brings more to the game than dikho please get rid off him . I think Tom Bradshaw would do a better job than that headless chicken.

22 Jul 2017 19:47:31
ok everybody sit down and breathe ok we lost to shrewsbury today but friendlies are just that friendlies
football is like s marathon if you don't warm up "friendlies" you will burn out halfway through the marathon "season".

players may look uninterested but don't we all when we start up our exercises have you ever felt like telling someone to get lost if they told you.
you do not look interested I know people are entitled to their opinion but please take note guys these players need time to adjust to new ways of doing things. I am sorry if have gone on too long its just I am trying to show you another way to think.

22 Jul 2017 18:49:53
I don't care if we win a friendly 10 nil or lose 10 nil. It all starts for real Aug 5th! As long as Nuno gets to see players limitations and decides his best 11 and what tactic suits is all that matters! We all know we need two quality strikers if we're to succeed and I'm sure Nuno does to. So just chill out and look forward to Aug 5thπŸ‘.

22 Jul 2017 19:13:31
Totally agree with you PT. He's got 2 weeks to iron out the kinks.

22 Jul 2017 19:14:42
Couldn't agree more Paul Tamworth. wolves weren't even playing at 100%. 3 points were not lost. have faith and a little patience guys πŸ‘.

22 Jul 2017 19:51:04
Perfect sum up there PT new player's new set up give it chance eney news on neves.

22 Jul 2017 21:16:44
Long way to go. the new bosses have bought well, more to come we hear. takes time to build a team. patience.
This is the best time to be a Wolves fan. We would have given our right arm for this scenario 2 years ago.

22 Jul 2017 22:55:52
Wimbourne, couldn't agree more, well said.

22 Jul 2017 18:24:56
I'm not complaining about the signing of vneves because it shows intent but in the context of what happened today do you not think the money would've been better spent on 3 or 4 battle hardened and championship experienced players. what if the worst case scenario and he's out for months. let's face it he is going to get this treatment every week. we need some enforcers to go along with and protect the flair players.

22 Jul 2017 19:51:05
You will never become a top team with that kind of thinking. Go for the best players you can get.

22 Jul 2017 19:56:22
Timtoo if that lad had of scored a hat trick you would be saying this is great class player. yes it would be nice if we had some experience players. nuno has got to learn and today he will and also when we play Leicester the real work starts on August 5.

22 Jul 2017 23:23:46
Humphrey you misunderstood. I know he's a class player and I'm glad we've got him. just a bit concerned about these technically gifted footballers when it comes to the physicality of the championship. I know we need them but it's a balancing act because don't you think we need some steel in the side aswell for when the going gets tough and we need to roll our sleeves up and grind out a result.

22 Jul 2017 18:23:52
No negative comments please wollaby and co will be onto you.

22 Jul 2017 19:29:57
Another incomprehensible load of crap from Wednesfield. Why don't you just retire to your sewer or ridge tile.

22 Jul 2017 19:34:18
That didn't cost any points and doesn't matter, why don't you support your team as opposed to trying to support your own negative views. You are really boring. T++T.

22 Jul 2017 17:57:48
Neves left the ground in a protective boot. Doesn't look good.

22 Jul 2017 21:25:45
I left the ground in 2 protective boots. beer rules πŸ˜‚ Neves will be fine. first proper crunch he has felt. he'll be getting 20per game in a few weeks πŸ˜‚.

22 Jul 2017 17:47:18
Disappointing today, but remember the purpose is to iron out problems, 2nd match running we have failed to score, so no surprise what we lack. Has Jota signed? why have we not signed a goalscorer yet? Do the management not see our deficiencies, The natives are becoming restless.

22 Jul 2017 20:13:46
Yes was very dissapointing team effort. but may be blessing in disguise. it will make nuno aquire the 2 strikers we desperately need. i'm sure come 5th august they will be here. and we will end season promoted?

22 Jul 2017 17:14:02
Had similar problems, just got on in time to see neves limping off, was just showing stadium filling up until then.

22 Jul 2017 17:08:26
Very poor performance today we still have a number of players that are not good enough to play this system. I would love to see a team of the new signings not a mix of the old and the new. Based on what I have seen in the four games we will not be promotion contenders, but I live in hope.

22 Jul 2017 15:34:24
Trying to watch Wolves/ Shrewsbury on Official Wolves website. Have paid for this but can't see any video at all. Anybody else having the same problem?

22 Jul 2017 16:05:00
Same here I've just got on to it on 38th min I kept going to home page and refreshing.

22 Jul 2017 16:56:32
Same here, both on iPad and iPhone. Not a sniff. Got a reply from the help line about using a different browser!

22 Jul 2017 15:30:43
Uh oh - Neves off injured against Shrewsbury and we're 1 down.

22 Jul 2017 15:52:50
Strikers needed desperately, afraid to say even though this is a pre season friendly we don't look very good.

22 Jul 2017 16:16:02
If we don't sign a striker or strikers, the money spent will be a complete waste.

22 Jul 2017 16:20:11
2 0 nil down, new team new formation your not going to instant success, judge after 10 games into season.

22 Jul 2017 16:31:16
So or rogue1 we can't wait ten games, season will be lost again.

22 Jul 2017 16:52:10
Well I have to speak as I find and this is garbage, shoot me down in flames but all of you who say it's only a pre-season friendly isn't it a pre-season friendly for Shrewsbury aswell.

22 Jul 2017 17:13:53
The lions was crap in the warm up games but did ok and the end if I remember correct, I have seen teams bottom 3 at Xmas and finish in top 6 so 10 games is not season over, let's just buy another 10 players then as these can't be any good, panic panic panic lol.

22 Jul 2017 17:43:53
2 weeks from the big ko and we put in a non performance like this, worried isn't the right word, terrified is better after the money splashed out.

22 Jul 2017 13:57:17
Does anyone know if we are going to sign any defenders. i don't think we have enough.

22 Jul 2017 13:43:48
With an hour or so away from kick off today with shrewsbury. Its baffling me why we haven't already signed our striker/ s ready for the pre season games. Perfect opportunity to gel with new team with nothing at stake in terms of getting a result. I personally can't see Jota being in todays game with shrewsbury simply because he hasn't been announce an hour away from kick off. Surely he would of been spotted with the squad this close to kick off. That being said, he would be a very good signing. Just think that delaying our main striking transfer targets could backfire.

22 Jul 2017 09:58:09
Hi all, I have been reading all the posts for a while now and decided to participate with the highly educated people on here :)
Thinking of buying my son and I a season ticket but can't decide on billy wright upper W1,steve bull upper J2 or stan cullis NU4,where do you guys prefer? can't be having a gale force wind and rain pelting me during the winter!

Ive also been told you can split your ticket between different seats through the season, is that right?

22 Jul 2017 10:34:17
I'm in the north bank upper ( which is fantastic) but I must admit I'd go in the sides if I didn't after pay for 3 season tickets. If I was you I'd go in the sides there the best seats in the house Billy wright for me mate. ( Now come on get them tickets sorted and come join the family) UTW.

22 Jul 2017 10:55:18
I have been sitting in J2 Steve Bull for years. Great part of the stadium, old school mentality, no fuss, great view and the speed at which you get in and out of the stadium is breathtaking! Lol. I wouldn't choose to sit anywhere else so make the most of it while you can as they will probably knock it down and rebuild it within the next 5 years or so. J2 for me until the day they do, I will probably chain myself to the turnstile when they eventually send the bulldozers in!

22 Jul 2017 11:00:50
James,
I'm in Stan Cullis upper, it's the one and only place to be.

If we get promotiom the Steve Bull is being hauled down and a stand similar to the Stan Cullis is being built on to the quadrant. No wind then boyyo.
Get them tickets bought, we're going forwards at last.

The Steve Bull info is Kosher not fiction, fact.

22 Jul 2017 13:07:14
I'm old school, South Bank terrace, now resident ST holder in the 'South'.
All four stands have their good and bad points, and people.
How old is your son? If he's young I'd take the good advice from the lads above. As sometimes my end isn't the nicest place for a little un. A combination of beer, frustration and bad language.
Now, stop hesitating, get those tickets and come and join us.

22 Jul 2017 13:11:05
And Stuwolf. If you're right about the Steve Bull stand, if we get promoted. The way Fosun appear to operate, they'll have the old one down and new one up during the close season.

22 Jul 2017 15:02:06
Yes but as I said, I will be slowing down Fosun project of rebuilding Steve Bull stand by chaining myself to turnstile outside J2. I will wear wolves bright green shirt to ensure the bulldozer drivers see me!

22 Jul 2017 17:16:09
Thanks for the replies guys, there wasnt much choice to be fair for two seats together in the upper tiers, every where sold out nearly! I was lucky enough to get Billy Wright W1 front row
UTW.

22 Jul 2017 09:45:03
Just signed up for wolves tv. does anyone have any idea how it works? Keep getting error messages and just takes me back to the subscription pages. which in already paid.

22 Jul 2017 11:46:23
Done mine to watch today. try cleaning your history.

22 Jul 2017 11:44:02
You might need to use a vpn mate as i think it's for people not in UK and Ireland.

22 Jul 2017 13:48:17
I've signed up too and keep getting the same thing. If the other pre season games are anything to go by it will not be active until just before the game starts. I think that you will have to log into your account before you can access it.

Hope this is correct or I will not be able to watch either.

22 Jul 2017 08:33:20
Anybody who knocks Mendes and his influence he has with Wolves haven't got a clue! He is the reason Fosun brought us and are spending multi million pounds on our club! I thank Sir Jack, I thank Steve Morgan but neither together can match what Fosun are doin. This is the most positive and excited I've been for the start of the season for years and were only a championship side! Can't wait for the 18/ 19 season when we start at home to Man Utd in the Premier!

22 Jul 2017 09:07:24
One thing for sure, we need to get behind the club, players and manager, if I had one wish it would be to stop all negativity at molineux, it helps nobody!

22 Jul 2017 09:31:32
Ear Ear, but are the fans listening?

22 Jul 2017 09:33:07
Bang on Paul. This club is being transformed before our very eyes. Fosun want the big time for Wolves. Mendes will really come into his own then.

22 Jul 2017 09:48:46
Didnt realise we had been promoted. thought you had to win games and get promoted.

22 Jul 2017 09:50:53
Yes, patience is needed. Lots of new players and a slower style of play. could take a little while to really click. Terraces need to support the boys. We just need promotion, however we can manage it.

22 Jul 2017 17:08:27
Although I am happy that the club has shown a willingness to spend and bring in young and hungry players, in the Championship there is no substitute for experience. Big money foreign players like our signings do not necessarily fit that bill. At the moment the manager seems more interested in signing a team of defenders. Real ambition would have been to bring in someone like Darren Fletcher who was on a free from the unmentionables. An experienced head who would have inspired the others, that is clearly missing in this team. Any further signings need to be British based who will be used to the physical side of football, like they encountered today at Shrewsbury. Otherwise promotion will be at least two seasons away and who knows how many managers!

22 Jul 2017 06:45:41
Que sera sera, whatever will be will be, we're going to shrewsbury, que sera sera!
