After last night i am quite confident about wolves getting at least play offs. We proved that we wont miss fletcher that much.But we will need to replace jarvis and maybe a cb.
Don't get too carried away. Barnsley were awful!

Hope solbakken gets the full money made from players exit to strengthen the squad. No need to put any in the bank. So far, Doumbia and peszko look great signings, more of this type of quality pls stale.

Not a rumour put a hope : - Let's hope wolves spend the some of the money from fletcher on Jordan Rhodes.
Would be a good buy but think the priority should be a CB, LB and left sided midfielder if Jarvo leaves.

Fee agreed for Fletcher apparently. Haven't heard how much, been on to my estate agent all mornig to try to find out but he keeps trying to sell me houses and says he has no real knowledge about Wolves or their transfer dealings

According to sky sources Sunderland have agreed a fee for fletcher. If true hopefully he can go quickly now so solbakken can bring in at least a cb

{Ed011's Note - I thought Solbakken was brilliant last night, he didn't let the players slow the tempo for a second, unlike with previous preseason games where he sat down and watched he was constantly moving around his technical area (and often outside it) as were John Lange and Terry Connor and I could hear him shouting at his players from the North Bank. His attitude with the subs going on was testimony enough for how fired up he got the players, even when we were winning convincingly he was shouting at them to hurry up to get on the pitch and at 3-0 up a mistake happened that made him angry enough to boot a water bottle.
His tactics are apparently coming into shape, I didn't see the Leeds game, (I was at V Festival and resorted to asking the staff if they knew if the game was being shown anywhere - they didn't), and it may be a bit presumptuous to say things are working after one game against Barnsley but our passing play and one-twos are so much better and the midfield looked massively improved, largely thanks to Doumbia perhaps.
It seems as though we're more interest in signing the right sort of centre back rather than just any centre back and it's about time we made sure we were signing better players rather than just any players too.
In Solbakken I trust! COME ON YOU WOLVES! Another 3 points to come against Derby!
I thought we were excellent last night full of a team who wanted to play football for the gold and black - passing was excellent RJ and Jarvo superb - Berra (who i dont rate) superb - look tighter without stearman - early days but the manager is stamping his style of the team formation - really optimistic and i would love Jarvo to choose to stay - he will learn a lot through our manager a lot more than under Big Sam

Was on the bus last night coming home from the match n this bloke was going on about wolves I heard him say that Berra had a good game I nearly burst out laughing at him n then he said RJ did okay not great I think rj was up there for motm n that Berra n stears should be 1st choice defence clearly watching a different game loved the atmosphere in the south bank great show by the lads
South Bank was quiet until 2-0! My mate said to me at half time he was disappointed with the fans, my view is that this "hangover" extends from the dressing room to the terraces!!
