Mick looking at bring in Michael Owen as cover. Also a connection between Owen and Morgan as Owen's Manor House stables only 4 miles away from Morgan's estate in Cheshire.
Dodgy link but an interesting rumour. Cannot see it but I would be very happy to have supersub Owen ready to bring on.

Liverpool likely to bid for Doyle however Mick has said he won't sell now the season has started and all buds will be rejected
The way I see it Wolves would sell Doyle but it has to be to the right club for the right money. I believe Wolves would only consider selling to one of the so called top 6 in England - Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs, as they are basically the only 6 that are not direct competition for survival. I also think they would consider offers from abroad. The money has to be right as well. Top teams are prepared to pay in excess of £20m for a player. Doyle is quality and could play in any top team. If one came in with a bid over £25m I think Wolves would find it hard to turn down.

I was at the fulham game, and overall it was
pleasing. Stearman im afraid needs replacing,the rest of our defence looked solid. Injuries will be
key this season , we need two more quality
signings, a midfielder, and a defender. Johnson
was quality, Fletcher was fantastic.

Watching the match on the net yesterday from what I saw henry sometimes was good n other times he was shocking took to lOng on the ball n stearman was awful not a right n deffo not a premiership quality looks so vunerable at times but all in all a good all round performance for the team jarvo looked back to his best
N goin on about needing another striker why do we Doyle fletch SEB n ward just need another cm n lb
I am not a massive Henry fan, however he was easily our best player yesterday.
He did okay in some parts I saw but he got to easly disspossed n also ran in to trouble a few times I'm just saying what I saw

Liverpool may bid £10 million for Doyle before the end of the transfer season ----
If the 3 M's are truthful in the amobitions not to sell our best players thn wolves should announce a £30mil price tag on doyle to prevent any further interest
Given the way Liverpool overspend for players, I doubt a £30m price tag would deter them!

Even though I've been saying we need players... wolves just don't seem to be listening to me; Wardy impressed again at LB being one of our best players on the pitch yesterday (vs Fulham) and his block at the end when it seemed like there would be a definite goal just showed how much he's grown as a player and Berra was fantastic as well and kept Andy Johnson out of the game for most of the match, maybe R Johnson is having a much more effective role in bringing the best out of our back four than I thought. If we do need to sign anyone now I think that it will only be for cover perhaps a cover midfielder still and even a cover forward if Maierhoffer does go.
