What a shame Morgan, Scouse rubbish knocked out of europe!

21 Feb 2013 17:38:06
there were calls for a protest weeks ago and nothing happend and nothing will happen now. us fans have gone weak and are all talk these days, wish the old guard would return.

Why doesn't someone go and protest outside one of his beloved new homes at Compton, that would get his attention because that's all he cares about.

Yeh let's bring the value down and make wolverhampton look even worse! its not just morgan who needs the kick up the back side.

21 Feb 2013 17:33:47
Did morgan have something to do with the builders that made new stand if so he spent 19m on it how much
went back into his pocket

Dont no, but he as appointed a manager who nows a bit about the building trade, because deano said he had laid is first brick when sighning gorks or first block, must of done some work for redrow on is cv that's why morgan chose him

Yes he paid himself to build it

He paid himself to build it using wolves money

And your point being?. if you owned wolves as well as a construction company wouldn't you build a stand yourself rather than give the work to some one else? Grow up! These conspiracy theories are stupid!

I seem to remember it was the Buckingham group that built it. I don't think morgan has anything to do with them

Ryan Tunnicliffe gone to Barnsley on loan from Manchester United just the quality midfielder we need. Linked with him in rumours earlier but as per we don't move until it is too late.

Nick Powell still available although rumoured to be going on loan to Leicester

Harry Kane has gone to Leicester.

Alex Rae had joined Paul Ince at Blackpool. Be interesting to see how he does. Don't think he'll take any crap from the players!

21 Feb 2013 16:27:12
BRUCE SHOULD OF BEEN GIVEN THE JOB!

He was busy doing strictly at the time gooood game gooood game

Morgan does not want to pay any money and with moxey as right hand man we are going nowere, needs complete change at club from top to bottom, no kids coming through as usual except for batth and perhaps davies that's why we are stuck with these numpties henry, foley, edwards, ward, bera and even doyle when was last time they scored a goal or created anything, that's the reason why we are in this position goals win football matches and i'm afraid we don't have that in our team that's why i'm seriously worried if deano isn't given help in loan market we are going only one way

No need to shout!. or is your caps lock stuck?

I think the team against Cardiff should be:
De Vries

Foley Johnson Gorkks Robinson

Henry

Peszko Ward

Sako

Sigurdarson Ebanks-Blake

I think although Ikeme has been outstanding we need to take him out the firing line.

Henry although I don't like him is best at the club at what he does asnd that's sit in front of the back four and play the ball out wide

Ward is a great attacking threat who understands the need to track back and defend

And Sako should be given a free role behind the front two.

Just my opinion.

A diamond formation!

Ikeme in goal isn't the problem. And he's doing a fine job. It's the front half of the formation that needs to step up a gear.

What about batth?

Cant drop batth only player who as earned is corn and looks like scoring when comes up for corners, I would definately bring hammill in rm, davies cm inplace of henry leave siggy up front with blake ohara cm sako lm foley is my other player would like to leave out from team that lost at barnsley but we seam to have shortage of rb unless henry or johnson can play there or batth and move johnson back in centre, always thought that henry could make rb waste time in cm this year, done nothing to help team only talked a good game, must play to win deano and if we do go in front, don't make same mistake you made agst barnsley, when you dropped siggy back to 5 in md which let barnsley back in game and cost we dearly

My mates dad is one of the ground staff, a gardener but will not go into any more details incase I get him into trouble.

He say's wolves have already making plans to go into league one, staff cuts, his job his safe but a lot of others who have worked at the club for years are worried.

There bank isn't empty by all means, baut morgan doesn't want to spend, more players to leave also only free transfers on low wages in, so called stars will be sold in summer no matter what div were in.

He thinks (his opinion not fact) that mogan will look to sell in the next two years.

Last thing he said when I asked him about loans is that there won't be anymore unless we get 2 or 3 injurys in the next week.

Not saying any of this is fact but he has worked at the club for well over a decade and has no reason to make stuff up.

Nonsense.

A drop is entirely possible of course, but for many at Wolves it's still unthinkable.

I bet they are making contingency plans for relegation, bad business practice if they weren't.

Just to bat the breeze here. They could even be making contingency plans for the conference but who really cares. At League 1 johnson, o'hara and doyle at least should go if for no other reason than self respect. That saves the financial wizard what? 100 -120 k a week, which alone jez and morgan will see as completely justifying their existence at wolves. And that's not even getting into Solbakken's lot and the nearly men from Mick's regime. Will jez the financial wizard take a pay cut or leave for reasons of self respect? There again we could await flight PIG1 to be cleared for take-off.
wolfshead.

How can this club make plans for relegation, they couldn't make a plan on nothing to do with football, only plans for ground development and buying land

Here we go again! Another gutless display, my optimism is wearing thin.
As Charles Ross former editor of the "Fanzine" said on tv WM, reiterating what we all know that this fiasco is due to the poor planning/risk assessment prior to and following the sacking of McCarthy, then with no football/brain/ person on the board, they appoint Stale Solbakken a manager with no experience of the championship, how stupid is that! Both M&M following going down put into action their well known strategy of saving as much money as possilble, by selling our best players, and then search for a manager they can manipulate, Steve Bruce would have spent too much money.
I think the Fraud Squad should be brought in! We all know the Supermarkets are in trouble selling food as "Beef" yet it contains horsemeat, well there are people in Wolves football strips masquerading as fooballer's and obtaining high wages, this is fraudulent they should be locked up!
Anyway don't blame Saunders he has been given some poor tools to work with. blame M&M
Get behind the lads on saturday and hope for a miracle!
Wombourne Wolves.

Yes charles was spot on we will only go down with morgan mans been a joke but he has his land around town and compton so someone is happy

You seem to know so much,,, but you don`t even know when we`re playing next

Charles, as great a contribution as he made with ALOB, is starting to get on my nerves. He needs to stop trying to pontificate on behalf of the fanbase.

I think Deano is on the brink of quitting. It shows in his body language when he's interviewed that he's not coping well. Yes he took donny down but let's face it they are a league 1 side. Its a shame because I thought altho his ability as a coach are prob limited I thought he might have the character to lift us and at least keep us up. The players are letting him down big time. Stone wolf.

How come watford can get so many loads in but it takes us for ever to get 2 in

Wouldn't blame Deano if he wanted to cut his losses, if it's not too late, and save his credibility.

If he walks then we need a manager who has battled relegation and won before. We all know the names, we didn't want them last year, and the football will be ugly. But times are desperate.

Hope so

21 Feb 2013 12:33:49
Does anyone know for definite if Wolves had the chance to sign Jordan Rhodes? I seem to remember hearing Moxey saying he's not proven in this division so they wouldn't pay the price asked for him. If this is true, then it speaks volumes about the way this club is being run. Football decisions being made by non-football people.
I mean, what would Morgan/Moxey know about someones worth/value?
Isn't Rhodes the divisions top scorer (or up there)?

All comes down to money and wages, we have had a pick of any player offered to the champ as we started the season as fav with lots of money in the bank compared to others.

. Yet we havnt acted as its not in wolves policy to spend the money to get the right players!

No way would we pay what Blackburn paid for him.

It has now become abundantly clear that the whole Morgan purchase of the club was based around the land at Compton and the promised investment of 30m would be recouped from this development. I would suggest that wolves playing in the 3rd tier of English football would not be a financial disaster for Morgan, parachute payments still coming in, no 20 to 30k wage demands no need to spend 2 to 3m on players and still 20 thousand mugs coming through the turnstiles each week. Makes perfect financial sense to me!

If Sir Jack was a younger man when he bought Wolves he probably would have done the same, ie recoup investment! EBW

This is a ridiculous post, there is no way Morgan will recoup any where near 30million profit from the development and sale of the Compton Housing deal, If you have nothing sensible to say don't say it. Utter stupidity!

Who do we think is the director on over £1 million? Is it the same one who will not sanction transfers?

MOXEY who else. W F E

Morgan?

21 Feb 2013 10:36:56
Well I live near Shrewsbury so at least it won't cost me much to go to an away game next season!!

Nathan B

21 Feb 2013 10:34:51
Not really surprising but comments I've heard are that O'hara is having to be wrapped in cotton wool. He struggles to complete full game and certainly can't complete 2 games in a week. Some rough comments on Deano for taking him off, but looks like no choice.

21 Feb 2013 09:27:36
Great news for claustraphobics next season - think of the room you 'll have!

21 Feb 2013 09:20:33
Why is everybody going over the same 'tired' ground? McCarthy/Solbakken/Connor and all their faults have gone. Morgan didn't spend/got everything wrong/new stand is a monument to failure. Players need to go - reading it relentlessly is like some form of enforced therapy. We can't change the past and we don't know what the future holds. None of us can read Morgan or second guess his plans (if he has any!) All these posts should now be directed to wolves fc. Everybody is justifiably angry about the state of the club - let the people who can (and should) change things know how we feel. Wolves forever but not for now thanks!

Why is everybody going over the same 'tired' ground?

You tell us mate because that is exactly what you are doing with your post.

Surely morgan must now get a director of football, and leave all football matters to that person or persons whichever he chooses, to get the f. c. to were it belongs. we can't carry on like this, keep making these stupid mistakes and being laughed at as a shambles of a football team, we fans are arguing with ourselves swearing at the players, it as to stop for the good of our f. c. it will be no joke I assure you being in div. 1 it will get even harder when all the lower teams will see it as there day out coming to a fantastic stadium like the molineux. we the fans must get behind team, and morgan must give deano what he wants to try and save this f. c. remember luton town we don't want to go down that road again, remember there's no bully this time to save we OLDGOLD FOR LIFE

Second poster - I think you have missed the point!

21 Feb 2013 07:42:08
Pleeeeeeease big in big Sam and the end of the season Morgan/ Moxey, I had faith in Deano but, it's understandably faded away. Although, with the amazing capture of Big Sam Allardyce, I think it could easily be recovered.

Deano has had all the stuffing knocked out of him already - he looks more and more depressed in every interview poor bloke.

21 Feb 2013 06:59:48
morning is that right there's going to be a massive protest on sunday?

Wolves fans won't protest we have too many happy clappers with rose tint glasses.

Incorrect - there'll be no protest because you doom-mongers couldn't organise a pi## up in a brewery, and can only complain on forums about what you'd do, and blame the 'happy clappers'

Anybody on here remember protesting against Marshall's law. I seem to remember boycotting the first 10 - 15 mins of a game. Might have a bigger impact on the televised game against Watford.

Obviously by then we will have beat Cardiff and everything will seem a lot better.

21 Feb 2013 00:56:42
mr morgan, you went for curbishly is ideas was not your ideas ie; he wanted money to spend on players. you then went for bruce he got the job but for a few people on twitter saying we don't want him, so moxey told him no job. then you went for the cheap option in solbakken. no one had heard of, you said he will bring a different style of football throughout this football club. after 20 odd games you sacked him. so again this was just about money. the fans gave there opinions who they would like, what did you do, get a muppet who would do exactly what you say. now we are going to get relegated, because all the other teams around us are playing better football than us. moxey says the players have to look at themselves, we've been trying to tell you for three seasons this team is garbage, we've hit rock bottom the transfer window came and we bought one player for the future. this says to all true wolves fans mr morgan please go now you are a poison to our club.

Don't quite agree with everything you said. I don't think we have bottomed out yet.

CAN SAY THIS MR. MORGAN if you can't get we out this mess, you and MR. MOXEY, should both leave this f. c. and get somebody in who can run it and admit that you tried but couldn't do the job then all will be forgiven by the fans and we can all move on and watch a good game of football for a change

21 Feb 2013 00:43:30
You all blame big mick but he's done the best for wolves in years look at us now u say he's left us with dross players no we have sold our best players mick signed and we have sold them for 30mil where's that gone in morgans bank when we was in the prem big mick told morgan what players he wanted ie gardner. but we missed out on them. yet again. ,. like we always do. that's why where we are now. ? You get what u pay for ay. !! Post by ian smith supporter for 30 years say no more.
