Hope Lambert gives a few youngsters a start tomorrow. Could do with resting some regulars. There is one player who we need to rest for two, what may appear to be, conflicting reasons. That player is Dave Edwards. Nobody can disagree that he has given more than any other player in order to help us survive. He has covered every blade of grass at Molineux and chased down more opposition players than any of his team mates and most importantly chipped in ten goals. When captain he has led by example. Deserves a rest.
The second reason is that despite his strengths we need to find a way of playing without him because he can't do what players in his position need to do. pass! I'm not being sarcastic, I don't mean five, ten, twenty yard passes I mean passes that split defences, like Marshall's pass to Dicko, last time out. Edwards can't do it because he doesn't see those passes and never will.
If we upgrade squad next season he will be sidelined. Deserves better, so we should pay up his contract and allow him to move on a free. Not likely to happen but would show touch of class and show fans that we mean business moving forward.

Agree with all bar the pay up his contract👍 he'll be the perfect sub to close out games.

Scottish Wolf. There is an article on the official Wolves site entitled 'GAFFER / No Gifts' which may interest you. The implication is that PL will not be handing out any ‘gifts’ of first team action unless players prove they deserve it.

Quite right too as I would be most irritated to do a 300 mile round trip to watch a team of 'experiments'.

West Brom now favourites at 4/ 1 to sign Costa. Oh s**t, hope that never happens.

I like to think he can aim higher than them.

Who else thinks he'll be a ÂŁ20m bench warmer on ÂŁ50k+ a week? Another season with us learning the English game would see him in a better position. He's had a good season on and off so needs consistency adding to his games.

Word of warning to Costa, Sako wanted Premier League at all costs and look what has happened to him. Only sign for a top club Helder and that's not the Baggies.

So sad to hear about the passing of Ugo Ehiogu aged just 44. One of footballs nice guys. Thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP.

A bloody good, solid defender. And by what we are reading, an absolute gent off the pitch.
A man who played football the proper way, and enjoyed doing it. R.I.P Ugo.
