If kewyne Jones signs for swansea next week for required price then cameron jerome will not leave the potteries

Great .

No one will be brought in and only the odd few will leave. Our 'war chest' was spent on Saunders

I thought Saunders only cost 500k. Some war chest. :)

im accually sick of people on this site now i'm give it a rest slating morgan moxey saunders solbakken and half the squad

morgan ay going anywhere so might as well stop moaning now nor is moxey

well slating saunders what can I say i'm just gobsmacked that he's had 2 games your already moaning about him the way he sets his team up I bet you wouldn't say that if we get in the playoffs be praising him up then or that we have not mad a move for anyone yet there's plenty of time left jeeze

n as for half of you saying we should of stuck with solbakken I bet your the lot who was moaning about how terrible the football was or that we wasnt winning its clear that his football wouldn't work here we were shoddy at the back we didn't create and don't give that rubbish he needed time I don't care what player you are you can always learn a new style he was stubborn why go to zonal marking everyone knows man marking is better I liked him don't get me wrong but for this club just no he couldn't hack it

rant over

20 jan 2013 22:33:53
its not down to moxey to release money for players. morgan will tell him how much they have and moxey has to then get the best deal stop blaming moxey. if you want to blame him for something blame him for doing his job balancing the books and making sure money goes to the right places and keeping us out of debt

One of the biggest problems is playing people out of position. Ward is not a natural left back, Zubar is not a natural right back, neither is Foley a right sided midfield player.

This is not rocket science, even a fool can see this.

Chasetown Wolf

I agree get players in who can play in those positions goals win matches and that team what was chosen against sheffield have no goals in them as much as they tried club like wolves should not be in this position needs sorting quick or we could be fighting relegation not play offs

The team was picked against wednesday to defend and saunders has said he went for the draw so that's why there was no goals in the team, and zubar cannot play cb he's a reckless tackler, when he did play centre half in his first couple of games I remember him giving several penalties away, and centre halfs have to have poistional sense zubar just wonders about and disapears

Release him and play Doherty, was man of the match only game he's played, not seen him since, why?

Happy to hear Hunt is back. In the short term he would be good to put on the bench as a sub for Sako who still gets tired in the last 20. Hunt has a great work rate, always positive on the pitch and tends to create a lot of buzz and excitement that can fuel the team. Not the talent for the season and we shouldn't rely up on him, but he always sets an example to the other players when he's on the pitch, that's a fact. Might sound strange to say but I think he could rally the lads on by playing a couple games, other players do feed of his energy. Perhaps this can fuel a couple more goals in some games and get the Wolves back on track? Opinions? I know most of you will disagree.

I've always rated Hunt as a player. I agree that he always gives 100% on and off the pitch. I'd like to see hunt on the left and Sako pushed up top, at least hunt would protect ward and Sako could be left to do what he does best (which isn't defending).

Hunt was very poor last year not the player that kept us in the prem the season before. but then he was also meant to of been carrying and injury all of last season so maybe he can replicate the performances we brought him for but i'm not confidant he can become the player he was

20 Jan 2013 21:41:50
Looks like this could be a possible line up:-

Ikeme

Foley Johnson Berra Ward

Peszko Henry O'Hara Sako

Campbell Jackson

Same back 4 then

That back 4 is th best that we have, batth and maregriter are awful and you don't break up a partnership between cb's unless there is an injury or suspension. ward should be played upfront and we need a new lb but apart from that the back4 is good enough when they have their form and confidence back

20 Jan 2013 20:20:20
{Ed011's Note - My team right now would be the following (although I would want at least new LB, CB, ST):

Ikeme

Stearman Johnson Batth Ward

Hammill O'Hara Henry Peszko

Ebanks-Blake Sako

I'll explain why, I can't see us changing from 4-4-2 at the moment so I've stuck to the formation. Ikeme is hard to fault this season so is a no brainer.

Foley has looked shoddy at the best of times lately and Zubar has always been a bit haphazard, Stearman isn't going to rip up the opposition and grab us a goal but out of what we have I feel the most assured with him defensively in the RB position which says a lot in itself. Danny Batth and Margreitter deserve chances and I'm curious to see how they do in training. Ward isn't as bad as we say he is but he is liable to the odd mistake, but right now I can't see us signing anyone better.

I want to see Hammill given another go, we know he can perform at this level regardless of what's happened with him recently, a few weeks ago if I'd have been asked I doubt I'd have said that but I'm beginning to feel like we're running out of options. O'Hara has been a bright spark lately and deserves a start a result, who to pair him with is a selection headache though with none out of Doumbia, Davis or Henry being that convincing. I picked Henry because of his experience, him being our club captain and he does break up the oppositions attack as well as he breaks up our own attack. Peszko has fight in him unlike a lot of what we've seen without him and I'd definitely give him a go, I know he's played at RM for us a lot but I see him at coping better on the other side than Hammill.

Up front we need a shake up if we don't bring in any players. I'd be interested in giving Sako a go up front with a licence to move about a bit on the wings and to drop back to get the ball from CM - he shoots and scores more than any of our other players so it seems like something I'd investigate, Doyle hasn't looked like himself in so long I'm beginning to forget what it looked like, he still has flashes of brilliance though but he wouldn't play well with Sako, he likes to move about onto the wings too much, as well has fall down too much too, as a result I've reluctantly picked SEB, Sigurdarson like Doyle moves about a lot too and what we really need is a new number 9 rather than 2 number 10s in Doyle and Siggy and a misfiring number 9 in Blake.

I'd want to see us to sign someone like Jamie Mackie. And that's my take on things at the moment.

I think your right we won't stray from 442 but I think we should, 451 with doyle up front on his own and davis henry and o hara in centre mid with any of sako peszko and hammil on the wings just because I don't think its a coincidence we ve defended better with henry and davis in the middle breaking play up as it forces the opposition to go route 1 and our centre half can head a bit better than they tackle and intercept

This would be my team.

Ikeme

Doherty Johnson Margreitter Ward

Peszko O'hara Doumbia Sako

Sigurdarson Cassidy

SUBS: Foley, Batth, Hamill, Davis, Doyle, Boukari, Hennessey

Main reason for this team is we need to bring in youth players and get rid of the dead wood.

GK:
Ikeme in goal as he's been brilliant this season.

DEF:
Doherty I think should get a chance youth and we do need a half decent RB. Johnson who's been brilliant this season for us. I would even say he deserves to be captain again. Margreitter should be given a chance all of Stales other signing are good give him a go if he's no good put Batth in. Ward because he's the only LB we have we desperatly need to get a better one in maybe give Reckord a go.

MID:
Doumbia has been impressive to me he should be given ago but think also Davis could be used. I've got rid of Henry as we need to get rid of the Mick team and he's been the main person and as we want to get players for the prem he's not going to get better but Doumbia and Davis will. O'hara as he's class and a premier league player, he creates chances. Also could see him become captain. Sako as he's been great for us most the time this season he's only going to get better but he needs to be able to use his right foot everybody knows he's going down to the touch line.

STR:
Sigurdarson cause he's only going to get better he's very fast and will just breeze past defenders. Cassidy is also young and will only get better with time and games.

As i've said this is a youth team that will get better over time. A couple experienced players in Johnson and o'hara who will take charge of the team.

TWOLF

Ed youve only said jamie mackie who else would you have?

{Ed011's Note - There may be players who I would have but don't think we'd be able to get i.e. Kenwyne Jones who Stoke have said will cost £4.5million, I'd love us to go out and get him but that doesn't happen at our club. The following is a list of players I'd have who I think we could realistically get:

Jamie Mackie
Simeon Jackson
DJ Campbell
Frazier Campbell
Vaz Te (I think we'd have a real chance now they have Carlton Cole, Andy Carroll, Modibo Maiga and Marouane Chamakh)
Maybe Vellios on loan from Everton
Maybe Rosenberg from West Brom
I'd love us to make a real bid for Jonathan Walters but doubt Stoke would let him go even with them having Crouch, Jones, Owen and Cameron Jerome in their ranks, they seem more willing to let Jones or Jerome go.

20 Jan 2013 19:02:41
The squad doesn't need major surgery? Which team are we watching? LB, RB and CF needed desperately. Also have Doumbia playing just in front of the back line, with O'hara and get Ramsey on loan to ping the ball around.

Ikeme
? Johnson Berra ?
Doumbia
Ramsey. O'hara
Peszko Siggy Sako

Doumbia isn't strong enough on or off of the ball, Ramsey played today so that's idiocy, and the fact that people don't understand the concept of patience with the new regime really irritates me. Leave it a few more games and we will pick up one or two at the end of the window, we need to move on some of those idle hands that have been mentioned, as if you haven't noticed the players that have been rumoured to be moving out are the ones who have been out on loan and people have seen them recently, the others like Jonson and stearman haven't played so people don't know if they are right for them. The idea of dropping the captain and Davis and putting doumbia in to hold frightens me, he isn't good enough to support the attacking play or defend the back four in a pairing let alone on his own, that team is wide enough to drive a bus through

Alf ramsey more like

Wenger has said after todays game that Ramsey could do with a loan spell for the rest of the season to gain match fitness, considering he's welsh I figured DS would be able to convince him. Let's face it, he's by far better than any other CM player that we have a present. I take your point about Doumbia, but I just don't think we have a midfielder who can play that roll effectively. Henry gives it away too easily and Davies just isn't good enough.

20 Jan 2013 18:35:58
Watching MOTD last night and in particular West Ham stood out to me with the style of football they play.

With Jarvis bombing down the wing and good interplay there are bodies in the box (some big ones at that) to aim at when the cross comes in. This seems to me an ideal way to play in the Championship, plus would be a great use of Sako.

We ain't good enough to pass it into the net and we don't have anyone big up front to head the ball.

Doyle and SEB spend most of their time on their arses now looking for fouls that don't exist. We're never going to be any good at route one from the back but we never seem to utilise the wingers by getting the ball to them to feet and getting bodies up in support. Henry is scared to go past the half way line!

I'd play Stearman up front! ;o)

Ian C {Ed011's Note - I completely agree, the West Ham method seems to me to be the approach to getting promoted that we could manage. The Swansea approach of building a good team playing great passing football hasn't worked for us so far even though really we should have stuck by it and given it more of a go in my opinion, we don't seem to have the players or the patience for it. The key part to the West Ham method though is spending money. They bought a team to win the championship then once they were promoted (via the play-offs admittedly) they bought in a team and players such as Carroll and Chamakh on loan, and Jarvis, Collins, Diame, Joe Cole and other real premier league players to keep them in the premier league.

You just have to compare the West Ham squad that got relegated in 2011 to the squad they have a year and a half later now in 2013, the only senior players who are still at the club now that I can find are the following 7:

Carlton Cole
James Tomkins
Jack Collison
Mark Noble
Gary O'Neil
Winston Reid
Frederic Piquionne (Who is looking for a new club and isn't even in Big Sam's squad after being frozen out the club)

West Ham always seem to be well funded and it's hard to see why they ever get relegated - poor decisions at board level I guess.

We're not at West Ham's levels of spending. But maybe we can match their ambition?

Is Iwelumo available? :o)

Dont buy an early bird untill morgan shows some comitment.

20 Jan 2013 18:35:14
The Mol should be should be a chorus of " where's the money gone " on Saturday . We are been taken for a ride by Morgan and his puppet Moxey.
Trying to do things on the cheap is not the way forward.
" where's the money gone, where's the money gone."
GET MOXEY OUT.

WE must tell morgan that we won't watch micks rubish any longer.lets be loud and proud and all stick together.

Agreed we need to ask the question last year we made £34m from prem (thats what I heard) then we have the £20m from sales of Jarvis, kightly and Fletcher maybe a bit more. We've spent about £10m in summer that's a profit of £44m obviously their are other costs like academy, costs of new stand (which I heard the club already had the money for so shouldn't afffect the money from last year) wages which i'm guessing cost around £6-8m. So how the hell did we only make £2m?? Hopefully theirs something major i've missed??

Morgans laughing he's making so much money this £50m Wolverhampton project which he's getting most of that money cause his business is building everything. The players had a cut of 50% in their wages which is fair enough but Moxey is still making £1m a year same as when we were in prem hows that fair?

TWOLF

I think the wages would be 3 or 4 times the amount you have given. But otherwise agree with your point. No money spent and it shows in our place in the league

20 jan 2013 18:19:38
we should all say, no new signings, no early bird.

20 Jan 2013 18:11:40
About 15 more points and we should be safe reckon we will get them

Danny

20 Jan 2013 14:01:44
Ed where's my long post from last night?

TDW {Ed011's Note - Can't see it on here, I don't know if another Ed found anything about it inappropriate.

Oh well cheers ED. Forget writing that out again though lol. The only way I can think of it being inappropriate is if Morgan, Moxey or Saunders was the ED

TDW {Ed011's Note - Would a free pie and a pint make a good apology?

Lol as long as moxey is paying

Panic stations? We are lacking in competiton for places granted yet we are 2 shy of a strong starting XL. For me Sigi with Sako playing off him in hole, Ohara and Peszcho down the flanks. Frimpong and Doumbia in the centre of the park. Henry left back, Johnson / Berra in the middle and until new arrives Stearman on right. Ikeme in between sticks. Keep hold of Ward as back up front man, Edwards can freshen up midfield and the kids (mcallden, price, doherty, reckord, mcleary, cassidy).. Jackson would be a positive move but we cannot guarantee starting slot as sako will be the man playing off sigi, wells forget him. Like the lad from Swindon, Ritchie, could be the type of player who would fit in.. Afraid its curtains for Zubar, Hunt, Doyle and Ebanks (and unless he can find his form Foley too) - the click is then all but gone enough so the power is lost..

20 Jan 2013 18:01:12
Look you can All keep throwing Names about Rumour here Rumour there WE aren't going to sign anybody in Jan so Deal with it. WFE

Think your spot on Pal, can't see anybody coming in either, just mid table fodder. P.J.

20 Jan 2013 17:58:43
I posted when SS was sacked that I thought (and hoped) that WWFC would be relegated this season and that it would serve the board and fans right for the way that they resisted or gave up on what I believed to be the best decision at the club or such a long time, modernisation. I noticed Tamworths irst signs o negativity creeping in yesterday after such a desperate performance. Everyone should now realise that the main body of the first team have really become useless; they did all they could to get SS the sack, and unortunately won that battle. Now SM brings in a manager that has NO football pedigree or philosophy other than hoof it and the same players can't play that either. I have seen persons on here talk about it needing two years to rebuild the team which is what DS is now spouting. Trouble is that is what SS had said all along and I think had started that process by bringing in some of the most promising players of an era to WWFC, but was sacked without the chance to carry that forward and replaced by a man of such limited pedigree that nobody will actually want to join us now. I will still support WWFC in the 1st division next year but I do think we now have what we want in the form that we truly deserve. The future is NOT bright and the future is relegation, for DS that will be the second season running into the 1st division where I am preety sure he has found his level.

20 Jan 2013 17:27:12
So far most rumored signings appear to be looking downwards not upwards in class and with the rumblings about no major surgery being required, plus maybe adding the assumption by DS/SM/JM that the play offs are a distant dream, but also wisely thinking god help us if promotion was achieved, I wonder if the strategy is to survive between now and May, whilst at the same time establishing clearly in DS's mind who is is worth keeping or not and plan to build in the summer once DS has a fair idea of what is required.

If this was a plan I would support this as we cannot enter the premier league built on MM none performers but we could do well with a team built loyally on a new manager

20 Jan 2013 17:11:05
Can't believe peopler are having ago at Saunders. The performance yesterday shows that it's the players that are failing the club not the manager. Morgan and Jez are also failing the club not investing in it. Possibly another reason why they got rid of Stale, he would have wanted 1 or 2 decent players in which could cost £3m each like Sako and Doumbia. The players i'd get rid of are:

Elokobi
Edwards
Stearman
Craddock (but he's going at end of season anyway)
Henry (been here too long)
Ward
Hunt
Berra (wants to go anyway)
Mouyakolo (never play again)
Jońsson
Doyle (like him but just doesn't score enough)

Thats 11 players i'd get rid of that's a good start to cutting the squad. Obviously need to replace a few players such as Ward who plays LB even though he's rubbish. A CB, STR, couple half decent CM. Don't want to seem to be having ago at Saunders but think his team choice yesterday was poor. Thought Peszko and o'hara should have started can't have a make shift RM and can't have 2 CDM too defensive how can he expect to give STR's the ball when midfield is so far back. Sigurdarson should have come on at 60 mins. Maybe they were all not fit enough to start or come on but to me when I was listening to WM o'hara and Peszko changed the game for us. How good is Cassidy? I saw the Blackburn game wasn't very impressed.

Also has anybody heard about Boukari? I know it was a rare calf problem but it's been over a month since we last heard anything surely he's got to be close to be coming back? he was injured against sheffield wednesday for 3-6 weeks. Way to long doesn't give me faith in our medical people.

TWOLF

20 Jan 2013 16:23:05
Here we go again 1 shot in 90 mins, nothing has changed. I know it is early days but the signs are ominous playing one up front in this division against a relegation threatended side shows no ambition, we were really lucky to get a draw. We need to get rid of Mccarthy's headless chickens and get in some quality, but I don not think DS is the man to do this considering he thinks Hunt is premiership quality.

20 Jan 2013 16:10:08
I really don't get why people want us to get rid of SEB. He is our top scorer and has scored ten goals in a terrible team. If we played with real wingers like we did when we won the championship he would still score for fun.

He just dosnt move when sako crosses the ball in with pace he just stands there and moves after the cross has gone past him, or we need a striker like iwelumo(im not saying we should sign him just that we need someone like him from when we won the champ, I havnt seen him play since he's left us)a striker who can hold the ball up and partner him, point blank without a big striker he's useless, doyles way more consistant and brings others into the game ebanks just gives the ball away, I don't think the two of them can play togeather

20 Jan 2013 15:56:50
i can't believe people aren't giving dean saunders a chance, I can guarantee that we will do better in the long run with him than with ss. we need points aren't we getting them slowly. yes but getting them and we moved up a place yesterday isn't that good enough for poeple who have a single digit iq.

20 Jan 2013 15:23:56
saunders wants workrate out of is players so as long as they look busy run round clueless he thinks they good and happy to keep them in squad, bad times ahead.

20 Jan 2013 15:46:40
We have 45 players in our first team squad almost 20 are kids who have never tasted any 1st team action. the reason the same 11 keep taking the field is because non of the remaining 14 are either fit enough or good enough. If nobody wants them we are not going to sign anyone new until we get rid of the ones I've seen play I would 1 GK Wayne Hennessey = Sell big money 3 DF George Elokobi = release 4 MF David Edwards = release 5 DF Richard Stearman = sell 6 DF Jody Craddock = release 7 MF SÅ‚awomir Peszko (on loan from Köln) = buy 8 MF Karl Henry (captain)= keep 9 FW Sylvan Ebanks-Blake = sell 10 MF Bakary Sako= keep 11 DF Stephen Ward = keep 12 MF Stephen Hunt = sell 13 GK Carl Ikeme = keep 14 DF Roger Johnson = keep 15 FW Björn Sigurðarson = keep 16 DF Christophe Berra = sell 17 MF Razak Boukari = keep 19 MF Adam Hammill = sell 21 DF Steven Mouyokolo = release 22 MF Eggert Jónsson = release 23 DF Ronald Zubar = sell 24 MF Jamie O'Hara. = keep 25 DF Danny Batth = keep 26 MF David Davis = keep 27 MF Anthony Forde = sell 28 MF Tongo Doumbia = keep 29 FW Kevin Doyle = sell 30 DF Matt Doherty = keep 31 GK Dorus de Vries = sell 32 DF Kevin Foley = sell 33 DF Jamie Reckord = loan 34 DF Georg Margreitter = keep 35 FW Jake Cassidy = loan 36 GK Aaron McCarey = keep 37 FW Sam Winnall 39 DF Michael Ihiekwe 41 MF Jack Price 42 MF Tim Jakobsson 43 GK Aljaž Cotman 44 DF Kristián KoÅ¡trna 45 DF Jordan Cranston 46 MF Sam Whittall 48 FW Jake Kempton 49 FW Liam McAlinden 50 DF Jamie Tank ““ MF Johnny Gorman

Not bad thinking

Spot on!

Sell sako and get rid of peszko? without them we would be worse off... peszko gives 100% everytime he's on the pitch.. sako is getting fitter and better with every game.. and if we gave all our youngsters a go we might even be worse off than we are now, I suggest giving one or two a go per game last 10-15minutes to see what they are like? and why release craddock? he is a solid CB and would love for him to get along side johnson.. and his contract runs out at end of season so why release him?

I don't know whether to try and read the first post or take it to the chemist and get it made up!

If I was another team i'd rather buy edwards and elokobi, than stearman and hunt, (assuming that they were fit) but I agreee that we should move them on, only player I disagree with is forde he's only 19 give him time to develop bathh and cassidy havnt broke into team yet either and there both oldder than him

20 Jan 2013 15:10:50
Even though I thought SS should not have been sacked and was not thrilled with his replacement, I was willing to give Saunders a chance. However if the man is happy with 1 shot on goal and the dismal performance which made Wednesday look like the former Prem side then I am afraid he lacks ambition. At least Stale said he was unhappy with the performances and we needed improvement and investment. Saunders is just a puppet for Morgan and Moxey and has obviously been told he has no money to spend. Morgan and Moxey obviously have no sentimental interest in our club otherwise they would have appointed someone who at least would get the fans excited and not gone back on their promise of investment. I think/ hope Morgan is ready to sell the club and pick up his big pay cheque and Saunders is just someone cheap to get us to the sale with someone in the dugout. I'm not too bothered about being a big club again, just a club that has spirit and the players understand what it means to us fans and play their heart out. Please someone . Perhaps a consortium lead by Eric Idle and Robert Plant and appoint a decent CEO. If not then its dark days to come.

"At least Stale said he was unhappy with the performances"
The performances were down to him. how many players improved under him and his staff?

20 Jan 2013 13:47:36
Frimpong on arsenal bench wasn't fit enough for us bull

Danny

Frimpong won't be sold by arsenal I think cuz otherwise another club ie lower prem/top of champ wudda had him by nw, get over him an look elsewhere, deano needs time drawn loose or win still needs time! you can't jus keep changing managers. Unless as some will point out you are chelski man city etc an pump in lodsa cash. As for stelle stabbers - I think its unfair he wasn't given enough time, he did say reshape club from top to bottom that takes a couple of years I guess, right or wrong me personally ida rather had solbakken but hey ho deano i'm behind you bud lets get winning again
Siewolf

If arsenal wanted to let him go he would have gone back to charlton on loan if we had said no, there are lots of players sitting on the bench in the prem that I would want at wolves but if the club there at dosent want to sell/ loan there not going to come

I believe he was not happy at Charlton.

20 Jan 2013 13:45:53
Will all of you stop slagging off Saunders! He has only been in charge for 2 weeks and your already asking for his head! Give the guy a bloody chance, with solbakken our players were on a losing streak of 4 games, do you think that we would've won with solbakken charge? No, we would've lost both of them and we would be in the relegation zone. He can't buy any players because Morgan has said that the wage bill is too high as it is and that we need to get rid of players. I don't know what you want him to do? Get us into the champions league? I would like to see you do a better job.

Saunders is a good manager give the bloke a chance Doncaster did and they are flying now

Totally agree the last three games under solbakken we conceded 8 goals and scored 1 I think its a miracle we ve only conceeded 1 goal in two games and kept a clean sheet, and we ve yet to lose look at the positives we re improving

Just a little bit of spirit and more than one shot on goal would be better.

Es only just arrived 4 god sake give him time ( 3 games ya muppets )

I don't think many are slagging him off, I think we are sick of seeing the same players making the same mistakes over and over again and getting picked every match. I really hope this changes in the next few matches or I will be slagging DS off

20 Jan 2013 12:59:35
Our most successful manager came after our only other ever Welsman . Roll on Deanos replacement cus we aren't going anywhere at present. Stale would have got us somewhere given time.

How do you know? dean saunders has been here 2 games and has got us 2 points and a much needed clean sheet, in the 4 games before he was sacked solbakkens side let in 9 goals and scored 1, its an improvement which you just don't have the intelligence to think about obviously, if you had considered the change in results, getting points off 2 teams who were better than 3 of the 4 we played before the change, you would realise that the football will come but the results are what we need. ship a few out + maybe one or 2 in then we haven't had a bad january.

Don't insult my intelligence The best players we have were brought in by Stale, The majority let MM and TC and Stale down, Saunders is not the answer, I only wish he was, he is fast becoming a puppet of Moxey/Morgan> How can you be happy with 1 yes 1 off target shot in 90 mins Rubbish.....

20 Jan 2013 12:54:14
Yesterday we were rubbish! But ...... Clean sheet and a point away from home is a small step on a long, long road. Read that Saunders sorts the defence out first wherever he goes - can't wait for him to start work on midfield and strikers. Presumably o'hara and pzesko not fit enough for full game otherwise why only subs? Can't understand people slating ikeme - arguably our best player at the moment.

this is so depressing, he's only been here 2 games and we have taken points off a very talented squad in blackburn and a strong team to play against in shef wed, who are both in form. if you remember back to the summer you all weren't as negative as this as solcrappen was bringing in players we didn't know anything about so we were exited about what was to come. his first two games didn't we lose to southampton in a friendly, just beat walsall and draw against shrewsbury? plus his first competetive game we needed penalties to beat aldershot town. why do people give ds such a harder time than solcrappen? if we string a few wins together we look like a hard team to play againsyt like we used to be as well as moving up the table. we will sign 1 or 2 on the last fw days of the transfer window, don't worry

We beat both of these teams earlier in the seson

Cant understand the people who have disagreed with this, ed, do the stats look better under ds? have we got points out of situations where we wouldn't have expected them before? I think we have, so why is everyone moaning? stubborn

20 Jan 2013 12:46:34
if we do not change this team dramaticaly, I can see a almost empty molinuex and the lowest ever amont of early birds being sold.us fans have had enough of seeing the likes of ward, berra, henry and blake just going through the motions and morgan doing every thing on the cheap.and also saying things like the team doesn't need major surgery is an insult to us that can see just how bad this team is.

Totaly agree with this comment lets get some ball players in sort the defence out and players who now were the net is not players who run all day like edwards davies ward bera stearman henry keep 1 yes but not a team full of negative players and sort strikers out blake & doyle not doing it and give hammill chance talented player if given chance if we don't score goals from all positions we are going nowere remember mark davies gave him away

Just been thinking about the early bird. Is there any point in buying one? There's no way they can maintain the season ticket prices if we end up as a mid table club (which to be honest is as good as we can hope for), surely they can't consider increasing the entrance money?

20 Jan 2013 12:28:34
Think we should of at least given ss this transfer window the signings he made are our best players the style would of come we have now gone backwards with hoof football and the players still ain't performing need transfers but I can't see it happening board needs to look at themselves made a real mess of the last 18 months

How much would it cost us to ditch Saunders and bring in Adkins

Oh do behave. WFE

1 years salary

you have no idea about anything do you? he's been here 9 days and we are already doing better than under solvrappen, the football isn't much better yet but atleast we are picking up oints, do you honestly think we would have got somethinf from blackburn and shef wed with baldy at the helm

?lets do it then

20 Jan 2013 11:54:03
Yesterday proved we should have kept stale. It's the players not the manager. Stale is a wolves legend that never happened. Mike

So true so true but we now have to stick with Saunders

do you have any idea the amount of goals we conceded under solbakken, we needed a few simple scrappy results to get back on track, didn't we move up a place yesterday?

I couldn't agree more stelle wuda cum good
Siewolf

20 Jan 2013 11:14:09
Well there is a complete person in our ranks sell sako??????????? Wat exitment would we get?? An how on wat planet would we take a man on? he's got most assists an second most goals so on wat grounds would you sell him cuz on your principle weed av no team!! your an I hope everyone agrees KEEP SAKO at all costs

I want to get behind saunders and give him a chance but when he said it was a good point yesterday and team does not need major surgery, I don't think he's the right man for us.

Grab Adkins now before someone else does.

Ermmm ...have you thought that he might be saying that publicly in order to try and get some confidence into the players?!? ...the same confidence that you moaning 'fans' have sucked out of them!

I used to think that it was just a confidence problem and that the fans had sucked it out of them, now I think it's just that they haven't the quality or ability mixed with the arrogance that they are guaranteed a starting place. Also they lack the fitness of other sides, we are always second to the ball and look at how many injuries we have . Stale was sniffing in the right area when there was talk of replacing Daley. We had 3 very lucky years in the Prem playing like each game was a cup match. Sadly our luck ran out and look at the sorry mess we are in.

20 Jan 2013 10:50:03
what do you think dean saunders is a miracle worker! our club was on its knees shipping goals with players pulling in all directions he doesn't need telling he needs different players is first priority was to plug the holes in defence he s been here for two games one goal conceded that was a penalty after a dive another priority was to get away from the relegation zone after two games we've moved one place up do you really think he is going to critisize the players he inherited publicly at the moment he needs them do you want him to sign players that are no better than he already has he has one month to prioritise sir alex would find this job extremely difficult be realistic its going to be a slow turn around to see a clean sheet and get a point at sheff wed who themselves have passionate support is a step forward ds has a right to feel pleased

If saunders was happy with that, get him a taxi out of town now.

Agree with top post ds should be happy with that point away from home against a battling team on a good run we have just lost to non league Luton it's a clean sheet let's just get this season over just need to stop the rot

20 Jan 2013 10:26:24
wolves need at least two strikers this window, sell doyle he keeps falling over all the time, sell seb he can't score, play jake, and siggy up front worth a try .

20 Jan 2013 09:53:07
I don't like say it and I know it's early but if DS keeps faith with the team as SS did, well we are going down.
They simply are not good players.

If we don't get no new players in we going to be in BIG trouble because those players can not be trusted.
If we haven't signed anyone before next home game and we play like that again I suggest you make your feelings known or it will be too late for that club.

Getting the feeling the clique are hood winking DS and means another manager the sack

DS has looked at the squad and come to the same conclusion as SS this is currently the only team to pick. Unless new players are brought in we will finish 17th.

God, I wish you would give up with this whole 'clique' business! ...players don't work as a team off the pitch, when they hardly play as a team on it! ...what we have is not a group who don't want to perform for certain managers, but rather a whole load of players who CAN'T perform!

20 Jan 2013 08:46:57
All this talk is seb good enough
yes he is, no he isn't .We are supposed to be aiming for the premier league so we should be building a team for next year and all of our forwards are not good enough for the premier league that spells relegation if we were lucky enough to hit a good run! so we won't even start on midfield or defence cus they are the same !

What the hell makes you think we are aiming for the premier league?

Still remember morgan saying this will not happen again after blackburn game in premier last match were we stayed up by the skin of our teeth a man to is word 17th position in championship with new stand & houses being built what a joke to this great football club sort it out and stop saying we played well against sheffield deano when every wolves fan now we were lucky to get draw it was rubbish even those who commentated on match said it was awful on radio w.m. they said they were 2 awful teams who would be fighting to stay up not play offs

We're aiming for the Premier League

20 Jan 2013 06:50:41
. Ikeme
Zubar Johnson Bathh Stearman
. Doumbia Davis
. Peszko Ohara Sako
Sigurdarson

something has to change, we can't keep playing the same players who are underperforming week in week out.
Johnson is the only good defender we have so may aswell give Stearman a chance over ward, can anyone really play worse than ward?
desperately want to see Sigurdarson upfront with Ohara just behind although probably will never happen whilst Saunders is the manager and we are playing hoofball, thoughts? {Ed011's Note - That looks like a more promising team then what we've been playing lately.

That is the team I would be playing but what hell is going on down there that these managers can not see it.

Ward
Berra
Henry
Foley
Doyle

These players want booting out the club

If DS picks the same team in next home game i'm going to boo them because its gone way way way past joke.

This lot killing the club and I aren't standing by and watching them do it. If DS isn't man enough then F**k him off

20 Jan 2013 00:55:37
Sell the lot of them if any of them players gets sold I wouldn't be bothered

20 Jan 2013 00:10:26
Fabian Brandy from Walsall, young hungry and an eye for goal!

Bad boy always gets pissed

20 Jan 2013 00:09:49
So I saw the Carey pulling paint of the walls and two players had to be pulled apart post. Could you please enlighten us a bit more please. I'm not sure who Carey is I was thinking Aaron McCarey but though what was he doing at the game. then you go on to say two players were pulled apart but don't give their names. I'm not very confident you know what your on about. I suppose you could say i'm calling you out?

Fastest gun in town are you. Calling out someone who at least knows who Carey is.
If you are interested just google Carey and Wolves. Some how I think you aren't. {Ed011's Note - Brian Carey is our assistant manager...

Deano's assistant - keep up :)

I did not post this but IF you are a wolves fan then you would and should know that Carey is our Assistant Manager as you do not know this I suggest you get your facts right as you should not argue if you do not know about your team Call yourself a Wolves fan LMFAO

Children, children - would somebody answer the question - who the hell was fighting regardless of what rank Carey is or isn't?

I'm confused. What was Archbishop Carey doing decorating the dressing room at Hillsborough?

I was being ironic, and you lot dived on it. I was trying to prove how fans on this site shoot you down.

I think I can also say you were telling porkies about the altercation if I were you i'd steer clear of your informant.

19 Jan 2013 23:55:02
forget micheal owen. john arne rise, simeon jackson, blackstok saha these are over the hill players who mm would have bought like it or not we have to get youth in. we won't go down, as it happens there are worse teams than us, the likes of the bradford lad get him in play docherty lets plan ahead with nice passing football sorry ds youve got to go with the rest

19 Jan 2013 23:38:56
we all know we need a rb, lb, ch, cm, and a striker perhaps two, and we know that these people in those places are the poisen 6 so we say bring in the kids but stalle did not do it and now ds is not doing it it can't be, but they are on mega-money per week. so we can't drop them so it seems to me the virus that's going through this great club of ours is down to morgan he is not soft but he lets these 6 persons run the club I for one would drop the six straight away the fans would be very happy it would say we are doing something only this just can't go on. at the mo they have player power
