Wrong post I know but would wish the media and cockney brigade would get of Hodgsons back. He has a CV better than Harry and reminds me of Bobby Robson a humble man loves the game a great tactian organised and a very proud Englishman. All these we want a motivator fail to see England's problems from the past. It's made me look at myself and say if Wolves can get somebody in with those credentials I won't moan about it not being the name I would want but he would get my 110% support as I have been appaled by the behaviour of some over this appointment. Good luck Roy bring it home son! UTW

Can anyone come and defend morgan that he is a fit owner/ chairman for this club {Ed001's Note - is the club in a similar situation to Pompey or Rangers? Just because you haven't a clue what it takes to run a club and think it is all about flashing cash, doesn't mean that is the right way to run a club. You should be grateful you have a team to follow, you could be a Stockport fan.}

Don't let them get to you Ed001 ......

small minded people who need to grow up and get real

Not on about money on about how he has gone about things sacking mick too later puting in connons makeing pies ear of geting someone in not talking to the fans and can i say how much money has he recived last 3 years off prem he is not out of pocket

Whats this about Stockport County, lets pretend I care about them for a bit. Been a boring afternoon at work {Ed001's Note - they had to sell off their training ground, have no stadium and dropped out of the Football League due to mismanagement. They spent 2009 in administration and very nearly went out of business altogether. At one point, their then chairman, wanted to move the club to Maine Road and change the name to Man-Stock County.}

Comment number two.... what do you want ? the guy isnt perfect yes, and is learning at being an owner of a football club, but to insinuate (big word for you i bet) that he is unfit to own a club is just plain dumb ! Carsen Yueng is unfit to own a club.... morgan is not everyones cup of tea, but he's an english owner who has had wolves in the top flight for 3 years, broke tranfer record at least 3 times, while building us a state of the art youth academy & a new north bank that shadows the rest of the mol ! oh and dont all this while keeping the club debht free !!!! there you go, i defended him.

If results dont get better we will also be on a slipery slope.gates will fall and income will be reduced and our great owner does nothing to prevent this hapening.he should talk to the fans and explain why the club is in such a mess and what he is going to do to improve things.

Stockport County were taken to the cleaners by their owner who was more interested in Rugby. Charged the club for using its own ground. Yes, we should be glad we don't have an owner like that.

While we watch with long faces as we go down.. Reflect on all the what ifs.. Remember 12-months ago we survived due to losing only by the odd goal to Blackburn (in the grand scheme of things as the Blues would not have conceded had we not scored) and the fact the bottom three were v-poor.. We added a relegated disruptive Johnson to the team stripping Henry of his captaincy, Ohara and De Vries both satisfied to have gathered good financial rewards for themselves and a couple of Scottish unknown to a stronger division and thought all would be hunky dory. Morgan cannot be blamed as said on a number of occasions money was available and Mick was satisfied with his squad and expected us to move on in the right direction. Only error by Morgan was being loyal - didn't do United's board to badly being patient and loyal but this did not work. Now cut our losses think out of the box and bring in a fresh innovative manager whose qualities are mostly unknown - OGS, Cameron or John De Wolf. It will lighten the mood at Molineux and we will again enjoy our weekly dose of WWFC.

Yesterday was yesterday...look to tomorrow...you're suggestions are the ramblings of an idiot.
OGS is not going to give up Champions league opportunity.
Cameron is unproven at a decent level but when he was with us his lifestyle was questionable.
De Wolf...I thought he was great as a player...the bookies loved him, not the official type either...can't see him running to Wolverhampton as fast as he left.
The opinion of us the fans is being monitored but unfortunately if left in the hands of the pie eater will have little bearing on who we get.

Would LOVE John De Wolf back as manager.

Id love De wolf back as a centre back ! i bet he's still better than what we got right now.... i can remember when he scored a hatrick ! lol

I can remember him bringing down advancing strikers with his unfeasibly long leg sticking out.

In my Wolves dream team I'd have Jon De Wolf and George Berry as centre halves. The unpredictability would be excruciating.

Ed do you have any idea why we've heard from everyone at the club apart from the one person who really needs to speak up, which is STEVE MORGAN ?

Or is he working on his after match season speech ? {Ed001's Note - he is concentrating on owning the club, not making pointless statements to people who play far too much football manager (I wasn't necessarily meaning you by the way). His job is not to be seen and heard at all. Personally I think an owner is better when he just sits back out the way and signs the cheques and I know that is the way Morgan wants it to be.}

Sorry Ed, I usually look forward to and agree with all your comments but I think you are wrong here. We all know that it is the CEO's job to run the club and make statements on a day today basis but at times of great moment (good or bad) the chairman/owner must be prepared to speak (he was happy enough to speak rather loudly in the dressing room recently) or he will leave himself open to criticism. He must show that he is a leader and that he has his finger on the pulse. I personally think he should wait till the end of the season but I can understand fans who are desperately disappointed with this season (as Steve obviously is) asking for a statement now. Would a brief comment saying that it has been a bad season but he has plans in place to be more successful next season really hurt him? {Ed001's Note - rubbish, the worst thing he can do is become involved, it should be left to football people. Otherwise you end up with idiots like Ken Bates, who destroy club after club.}

He became involved when he went into the dressing room.

He says it best when he says nothing at all. Actions would be good though.

He's left it to the football people this season and look where that's got us. If he leaves the talking to Moxey he makes it worse and worse. we are not asking for a weekly bulletin - just one staement.

Since when has Moxey been a football person. Commercial man yes and fat pie eating c---, always

Morgan is putting all his effort into Redrow and his toy Wolves are in the cupboard for now to be got out when he feels like playing with them again

Unfortunately Ed, he did become involved and in a pretty high profile and public way with the dressing room. There is no way back from an action like that - be it for better or worse.

I think Steve Morgan really needs to think things through and decide what it is he wants for the club and how he's going to get that done (putting it in simple language). He is the only one with any leadership capability at wolves - Moxey doesn't have the cred, TC is shot thru' - so I'm afraid he will have to step up to the bridge and captain the ship, and, be seen to do it.

In the first instance this is an issue of leadership and only one man can provide it at this time. {Ed001's Note - no, it is not for Morgan to do, he is looking for a DoF to take charge of all the footballing side of the club. Moxey can then concentrate on making more money for the club to spend on the footballing side.}

Hi ed, actually your spot on, i do play far too much football manager lol. but my football knoweldge of wolves is realistic and very good due to being a season ticket holder for 18 years. Normally i would agree with you about the owner keeping his nose out. BUT... after this season with the amount of terrible decisions and broken promises like he said at the end of last season " we will not let us be in the position again" (technically ha was speaking the truth as we didnt get relagated last season lol) and with the lack of funding this year and cheap option going for tc the fans feel he has alot to answer for so at least a statment is needed. I think if you ask every wolves fan, were fed up of hearing of the players, the manager and espically moxey so he needs to speak up and before next season, either that or anounce a DOF asap to do the talking for him, cus right now he seem's uninterested. And mark my words, if he doesnt do this and goes for a cheap option in a manager for next season the mol will be a ghost place as the wolves fans including the most loyal like myself have heard far too many empty promises and ready to vote with there feet. {Ed001's Note - it is simply a case of waiting for the right people, rather than putting in anyone who is available. He knows he is not a football man, he doesn't want to be in this position again and he doesn't want Moxey making football decisions. I think the club, despite the relegation, has taken a step in the right direction. But it takes time, which is not good for the fans, but patience is needed. Look at the way Lerner went about it at Villa, and how he is having to have a desperate fire sale due to trying to go for it short term, with no long term plan. Then look at what Peter Coates has done with Stoke, ok the football is dire to watch, but the club itself is in a fantastic position financially for the future. Morgan is basing his model on Stoke, who also suffered in their early days and struggled badly, but you would have to agree it is worth it right?}

Ed to be honest with you I'm not sure Moxey spends time making money for the club (I could almost put the full stop there) to spend on the footballing side, as you put it. Ok he's Chief Exec but
1) most of our income streams are spoken for, and
2) the better streams derive from success on the field - i.e. as a result of what the manager has achieved. For example - Prem tv rights, ticket sales, club merchandise, etc, all depend on on-field success to drive them.

DoF in the current situation - don't believe it will work.

The idea of a DoF + Moxey + Mr "shares our vision as a club" Manager, won't deliver success on the field - where it matters most.

Morgan has to man up, now, get the strategic decisions right, again now, then if he prefers, operate as a low profile chairman. But now is not the time for being anonymous - he is the boss, he needs to act and be seen to act.

Niall Quinn has just turned down the Man City job. Any chance for Wolves?

Yeah unfortuanatly i do agree with ya ed bout "getting it right in the long run" and doing things when able too, but it's just such a hard thing to go though when it took soo long to get in the prem in the first place. no doubht though, if he keeps his approach he taking, and doesnt neglect rule number one which is its a football club so the football side needs investment too then we'll be established in 5 years i hope.

Why has Peter Reid suddenly had the odds cut and is now favourite for the managers job?

He's apparently our back up plan If ian holloway get blackpool up, the other was houghton but looks odds on to be baggies manager, and curbs has already turned us down and wont re open talks despite us going back for him. All the others linked to us are just that links....

Reidys fine by me theres no messing with him curbishly no thank you he s never had the stomach for it has anybody witnessed peter reids half time talks hairdryer or what

I can see peter reid managing wolves but i think he will made to have tc as no2 wether we like it or not

TC must not be at Wolves in any capacity next year. Nice guy, good coach, maybe but we need a clean start.
3 pts in 33, enough said

Peter Reid would be a mistake. Experienced, yes, but I just don't think he's a man for today's football, just as Mick wasn't.

As expected then,Connor is gathering favour amongst players and board members at wolves,
Ward,Edwards,hardly lit the team or league up have they...yet they back Connor for the job full time,board member or ers,most likely Moxey...
Travis talks about the players pride in the club...tell me Matt,and for that matter every other wolves fan,when has the pride been for 95% of the season,the way this team has stumbled and tripped through the season I fail to see where the pride is...have we missed something?
Why are they backing,Connor who is painfully out of his depth,even pundits on radio and tv are saying this now,
Seems to me that they are worrying about a new man coming in and clearing the dead wood out,
Go for it Mr Morgan,chop him out and give us a fighting chance eh!

Theyll move tc sideways theres no chance theyll sack him

All the players seem to saying they let Mick down and now they have let TC down - er what about us?

TC has to go, end of or we are looking at the Championship at best for years to come

I can see us struggling in the Championship with TC. And the tragedy will be he'll be fired after 10 or 15 games when we're in the bottom third. Better to have a quiet word with him now - "Thanks Terry, you took over a sinking ship anyway, but now we want to do things differently" - than ruin the guy's CV for life.
