Wolves to get Shane long at Compton this week for medical.. Fee is meant to be over 4 mill
Well considering they value him at £20 mill I expect it will be well over 4 so wolves won't get him

Really is that why in an interview the reading chairman Madejski said "How confident am I we can ward off Celtic's interest? Not very. Madejski knows nowt about football or the value of players - hence why he quotes a figure of 20 Million, They will sell to the highest bidder
And McCarthy also said if Newcastle bid for Kevin Doyle they can pay £35m like Liverpool did for Carroll, that doesn't mean we'd get £35m for him. Of course Madejski is going to say I want £20m for Long but a bid between £4m - £5m will secure his services.
