Heard Wigan and Celtic are in for Ciftci from Dundee United, surely we've got to make an attempt for him. He looks like a much better prospect than wood and seems to be available for around a million quid. The recruitment team obviously know what they're doing but I would be bit confused if they didn't make a move for him

Amobi poss join on loan after resign for n/castle and woods going to leeds we wouldn't give more £ in wages or as long contract and didn't value him at 2.5m+ I myself say good job we didn't if he want join a team as disorganized as leeds - so come on kenny find us a gem like afobe again or we just tread water this season - what u think folks are wolves reverting to type again and won't spend good money on more experianced quality players - youth is good but need that experiance to help

I see we lost out on Wood, no doubt we will get all the spin as to why we wouldn't match what Leeds offered! If Wood was KJ number 1 target then the club have let him down big time! We r tryin to achieve things on the cheap and I don't think it will work! Expectations are high after last season but our owners and boards ambitions don't match the fans!

Have to agree Paul it does seam that way we have a team of good young players but they need that bit of help,looks like we are shopping on the cheap don't now to much about ameobi but at the end of the day he is a Newcastle player expect a bit more ambition than that getting a player fit for another team and the. Chris wood deal I would of pulled out off wouldn't pay £3 million for him could not keep is place in a number of sides so the verdicts still out on him.
Don't like to be negative but I just hope we invest in players to push on, the team is not strong enough at present in my opinion to challenge for promotion.
The pressure is on for k.j. this year
