Wolves want Max Gradel from Leeds- But Gradel has been reported 2 say he'd rather stay at Leeds than play 4 the dingles.....bigger club and all that

Another sad Baggie , PS love the new sponsor.
Gibo.

Leeds bigger club than wolves, leeds had 1 or two years success max and yes tey are big in the championship

Stop living in the past.

I just want to put this one out for all of us Wolves fans to debate , OK it is now recognised that we missed out on Gardner due to S/ land offering higher wages now it is looking like we will miss Johnson as Wolves won't pay 9 million for him (fair enough as he is 28 which goes against Wolves transfer policy) as a business model we are regarded in high esteem how ever do you think this could possibly cost us in the long run ? (possibly being premier league status) regarding defenders experience is crucial how many attacking players playing at 35+ (barring Scholes Giggs etc. who are true quality) but the bog standard/ decent EPL players. We are WOLVES
Gibo.

The answer is yes. I am getting a little sick to the back teeth of this policy of not paying the wages for quality players. The clubs who are in debt continue to buy big because they can get away with. Wolves are going down-as simple as that, they have no problem in buiding a new stadium-but when it comes to players they are small fry.

Glad most people here don't run my business Okay, lets say that we sign gardener paying him £50k per week. Suddenly O'Hara says that if he is worth that then so am I, then Fletch jumps in with the same request, Doyle gets his new contract at that rate, Hennessey wants his slice of the pie and so on. All of a sudden, those £15-20k per week rises have added maybe £4m plus to the running costs of the club.

That's half the clubs profit gone without blinking an eye. See how easy it is to end up in big financial problems?

The club has a sensible salary cap (how many of us would be dying to get £30k per week for what 25 hours work?) that inevitably means that we will miss out on some quality players. That is just part of football life.

Ian

One of the most sensible posts I have evr read Ian. Morgan, whilst a wealthy man, is not in the "oilmans" league of wealth. our club runs at a profit

If you're that good shut your mouth and go be Chancellor of the Exchequer

Ian, the most sensible bloke on this site

another day nearly gone no one joined fed up now come one WOLVES

Are they going to surprise us at the start of the season with...another £2m player from the dreggs of the championship after stoke and sunderland snatch every decent player on the market..nice one jez..more interested in the concrete arriving than a new centre back

Gardner was deemed too ugly to play for Wolves. I hear this is the reason Dave Jones went west as well ...Nobody will tell Elokobi though. He's here to stay.

Um.. we've still got hunty?

Elokobi is the most beautiful man to ever hit Wolves

Another boring day by the looks for the old gold :(

Yes another boring day now im watchibg the cricket lol im fed up now and worst off all the ony reason we missed out on gardner personal terms he wanted to come to the wolves but sunderland offerd more money a week i bet that made your day lol

Dont belive everything you read in the E&S, only truth is they no as much as us and just trying to sell there paper, no "quotes" from who that matters and thats WOLVES, Moxey also went on record saying there business is NOT discussed to no one out side the club so that paper is just stiring as usual, the only time i pick it up is if ive ran out of bog roll, and need to wipe my backside
