Wolf money! didn't we say that about Morgan? Another property magnate! Don't expect any signings.

20 Jul 2016 07:51:15
Pompeywolf u come on here and moan like f--k and are so negative! U would be happy with Morgan stayin and Wolves stagnating! This may end up bein a roller coaster ride but it's put new life into the club and definitely the supporters!

19 Jul 2016 23:01:02
Sounds a bit dodgy google him!

19 Jul 2016 23:21:33
Probably what the holdup has been.

19 Jul 2016 22:57:31
Fosun international to buy wolvesfcΒ£45,million.

19 Jul 2016 22:48:51
Sorry Goldfinger but where do you get your info from? This idiot is worth 2.7 billion and Robin Li is worth 12 billion! Don't hold your breath for 5 signings unless we have singed a group deal with Yeovil for 5 players for a years worth of Chinese takeaway!

19 Jul 2016 23:33:48
First of all mate, your info isn't right. Second thing, have you read what you're typing as well? We're talking billions, not millions haha.

19 Jul 2016 22:40:54
Well if this telegraph article is anything to go by, we will end up as a creche for Mendez's infant stars of the future, I don't know whether to laugh or scream. 😞.

19 Jul 2016 22:59:47
Would rather watch his infant stars of future than the carp we have now.

19 Jul 2016 19:58:37
Went to Asda. no news crews in sight.

No news is good news. allegedly.

19 Jul 2016 20:46:53
Just set up a couple mics in my back room table chairs, added a couple of pies, invited jez, told him 2pm tomorrow, its a done deal.
On another note you could get 2,000/ 1 on Leicester city winning the prem and at this moment you cannot get more than 250/ 1 on wolves winning it in the next five years.

19 Jul 2016 22:11:23
Wolvesnewsnow leading with Telegraph carrying Wolves story 10 pm.

19 Jul 2016 22:39:22
Very interesting and very plausible! Again, this would still involve serious money. Remains to be seen what next week brings! Realistically no announcement before due to tour of Ireland obviously. We wait and see! FWAW.

19 Jul 2016 19:52:23
Right folks I've just seen a cow and a chicken wearin wolves tops ridin a tandem so I stopped them to ask what was going on view told me they were on there why to molineux for a press conference so it must be true.

19 Jul 2016 20:45:00
Just went down the Moseley road new Chinese restaurant opening wok around the clock surely this is as something to do with the takeover.

19 Jul 2016 21:45:47
Wok and Roll actually Pezza LOL. Mr Li's first venture into building his Wolverhampton legacy.

19 Jul 2016 23:03:21
See that's me getting carried away with the takeover or take away.

19 Jul 2016 17:47:53
DerbyWolf your in the spotlight tomorrow! If the takeover is announced you are The King of the ITK Posters! If it doesn't? Well u can probably guess! πŸ‘.

19 Jul 2016 18:49:03
Where has he said it will happen tomorrow?

19 Jul 2016 19:00:38
Thanks Paul I am standing on the edge of the cliff waiting .

19 Jul 2016 19:02:24
The bit that intrigues me now is why are they dragging it out to complete? The exclusivity time is running out fast.

19 Jul 2016 19:15:22
Keep up Abyss 😑.

19 Jul 2016 19:25:45
Sorry Paul, I think I'm just blind. I can't seem to find any posts by him that say anything about a press conference or announcement tomorrow! xD.

19 Jul 2016 19:28:21
I want u to be right mate and so will every Wolves fan!

19 Jul 2016 19:31:48
So Derby has the paperwork gone through for the first consortium?

19 Jul 2016 19:36:23
That is correct Abyss I haven't, what I said was exclusivity deal for consortium 1 runs out tomorrow.

19 Jul 2016 19:39:45
Can't see there being announcement this week not with Tim two weeks behind spiers being in cork.

19 Jul 2016 19:47:46
Ohhh ok, so if no announcement is made tomorrow then the second consortium has their chance. So even if there isn't an announcement of some sort tomorrow, your point still won't be disproved. could be weeks until anything is finalised.

19 Jul 2016 19:52:59
It does make a bit of sense, not that it seems Robin Li has actually bought into Milan, he may still have been part of the consortium involved, but whatever, press have said AC Milan are in exclusive talks with a cut off date when exclusivity ends.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not announced tomorrow, I personally guess the red tape is stuff out of their hands that they didn't expect, maybe like Brexit causing the FA/ EFL to be unsure if Fit and Proper test conditions are still watertight and it is being sorted (them just wanting to be sure after Leeds fiasco) .

If so and if they are the best buyer for Wolves (which them being first in queue might suggest) , Wolves will give them more time to complete.

So even if nothing happens tomorrow, I won't doubt DerbyWolf was given correct info, and it's just developed a bit since and it will come right, maybe still with Robin Li.

19 Jul 2016 19:58:52
DerbyWolf don't try and water it down? So basically are u sayin if we don't hear anything tomorrow they've moved on to the second bidder?

19 Jul 2016 20:02:41
But Derbywolf, if papers have already gone off to FL/ FAor whoever, that would tend to indicate that price etc had already been agreed, don't you think? If that bit's not true, I presume you're saying that a new consortium then steps in and tries to reach agreement prior to submitting papers to FL/ FA? If that really is the cade (which I doubt! ) , we really are in the brown sticky stuff because the transfer window will have closed before agreement.
I don't know you, nor you me, so i'll drop short of calling it all BS, but your claims really don't make any logistical sense. or is it just me?!

19 Jul 2016 20:20:36
There is this thing that could account for the red tape, that the FA and EFL might have turned into an issue when it really wasn't. Robin Li will probably have an EU rather than UK Visa.

Our Govt have apparently scheduled Article 50 to be implemented Jan 2017, to complete at latest Jan 2019, at which point we will be out of EU. And our Govt have refused to guarantee that EU residents in UK, and I'd assume therefore EU Visa's too, will have a legal right to remain in UK after that point - because they say that although they intend that to be the case, they can't guarantee it because it needs to be part of Article 50 negotiations, so we get counter guarantees from EU.

So, without any insider info, it might be the case that an over zealous FA / EFL are demanding the buyer gets a UK Visa first before being approved Fit and Proper, as the buyer will obviously still need legal resident status in UK after 2019 that a current EU Visa apparently at the moment doesn't necessarily legally guarantee.

{Ed001's Note - club owners do not require a visa to be approved. Not sure why you think that is relevant. Visas are temporary things.}

19 Jul 2016 20:56:52
But he'd need some kind of guaranteed residency status awarded to him wouldn't he? (that would have to still be valid after 2019, conditions for which might have been compromised in some way by Brexit, at least in terms of the FA/ EFL being certain for the Fit and Proper test, and so are going to whatever extra lengths) .

I just suspect it must be something like that, because I believe the original ITK's, who believed it was done and was going to be announced, but I think then some technical hitch came out of the blue last minute that delayed it. Fit and Proper test and Brexit just seems a likely contender, or maybe just most benign? I'm not itk, just trying to be positive but still logical :-)

19 Jul 2016 21:32:57
There are several types of visa as I understand it. MR Li isn't going to live here or indeed probably will not work here therefore he would only require a basic vistitors visa which are given out willy nilly in the UK.

19 Jul 2016 22:51:16
I am taking a cautious step back from edge of the cliff.
So my guess at Robin Li appears to be incorrect. Telegraph have now named names. They have shares in Jorg Mendez company.
They are fast running out of time.

20 Jul 2016 07:18:43
The only thing i'll say, knowing nothing personally, is that the original info from the Spanish journo was the Porto manager, Mendes, and Li. The new info appears to be the same except replace Li with this Fosan group. Seems odd that the rest of it is the same. why would original journo get this last most important bit wrong? Plus, since Li clearly knows he's being linked, why no denial as he has with Milan?

20 Jul 2016 12:50:46
What is this nonsense about anyone involved being held up by the need for a visa. RICH PEOPLE Get whatever they want, RICH owners of businesses get What they want. WHATEVER they want. As the line that the current government awkwardly plant at every prime ministers question time says BRITAIN IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS' (cue public school accented cheers)

19 Jul 2016 17:20:52
I think the new owners will be British, they will have less capital than Bob the builder but will bring the club together again and at least bring us to the top 6 of this horrible league. a crowd over 25,000 at the Mol is awesome. with us as the 12 th man. we can fight for promotion again. f**k the billions. just an almost full molineux is worth billions in my eyes.

19 Jul 2016 18:36:38
Too much sun!

19 Jul 2016 18:52:50
Give your head a shake Southbank 76. If we don't get a wealthier owner than BTB then the only 6 we will be looking at is at the bottom of the league. 25k in the ground still leaves it nearly a quarter empty do the math.

20 Jul 2016 00:18:50
Shake shake wobble πŸ˜‚ u all need to climb down from your cloud 9s. nobody from the club have said a single thing. we all keep dreaming false dreams UTW.

19 Jul 2016 16:43:59
Please can it be my turn tomorrow to be ITK and tell you I know somebody who works at the club who's told me the takeover is definitely happening and there's a press conference at 2pm.

19 Jul 2016 17:20:16
I've heard a rumour, that tomorrow Tamworth Wolf will be ITK!

19 Jul 2016 17:25:59
I'm sayin a press release at 10am πŸ‘.

19 Jul 2016 17:30:30
I'm saying press release tomorrow at 12.

19 Jul 2016 17:55:57
I'm saying press release at 1.

19 Jul 2016 18:04:35
all of you don't be so bloody daft,
just wait for it to be announced
cos yo'm all going to make yerselves
look right plonkers if nothing happens
AGAIN!

19 Jul 2016 18:16:27
If it doesn't happen tomorrow we can have another guess Thursday and so on and so on till it happens! πŸ‘.

19 Jul 2016 18:25:59
I'm saying a press release before Christmas.

19 Jul 2016 18:47:21
F--kin hell RKO u r in ITK πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

19 Jul 2016 19:32:52
I'm saying prepare for disappointment tomorrow, the announcement will be not enough pies ordered for the season.

19 Jul 2016 20:05:41
Come on karlis av a bit of fun, we all know it's bulls##t, just trying to make us all smile ☺ while we wait and wait and wait and wait and wait,

19 Jul 2016 15:01:26
Once their takeover is completed, Wolves expect to sign winger Ivan Cavaleiro, who joined Monaco for Β£12m last year.

19 Jul 2016 16:23:42
Don't tell me this is to you?

19 Jul 2016 14:37:20
Is this based on rumour are are they in the know?
Wolves to win the Premier League within the next 5 years only 250-1 from Ladbrokes. anyone taken any of these bets?

goo.gl/AhyPDS

19 Jul 2016 15:30:44
I had them for promotion at 9/ 2. With man city, rangers hibs to win there leagues and bolton to be promoted at 750/ 1.

19 Jul 2016 15:38:15
What price to reach the conference before Blackpool?

19 Jul 2016 15:50:08
2,000,000/ 1 maybe 😊.

19 Jul 2016 16:12:34
Best thing to to do is check the odds for similar sized clubs in the Prem and champ, that should give you an idea of what they know/ don't know, chances are they are just looking at taking easy money on unrealistic bets.

{Ed001's Note - all it means is how much money has been placed on them.}

19 Jul 2016 18:03:54
Ladbrokes used to have (may still do for all I know) a telephone call centre in Spain (due to trying to side step betting tax by being off shore or something) . Maybe they have inside info!

19 Jul 2016 14:09:41
This isn't so much about the takeover now. We have a very real danger of having a poor start to the season and all the uncertainty will affect everyone at wolves to do there jobs, and a bad start can spiral out of control and confidence can be sapped. This needs resolving for players management and fans, so we can all get on with one aim in mind.

19 Jul 2016 14:06:29
Well JP Wolves looks like you got it wrong re the Wolves press conference at 2pm today.
Nothing happening AS USUAL!

19 Jul 2016 14:31:27
Karlis, why hang onto the things ITK posters say'they know Jack s**t 'to a man, laugh at what they say, chill out and enjoy the sunshine.

19 Jul 2016 13:58:41
Serious post' Considering how long this take over seems to be taking to us mere mortal fans/ serfs, the mentioned "New" coach in waiting Lopetegui'could very well be wondering 'just what the hell am I hanging around for'i take it this bloke has a family and expenses to be thinking about, not sure how long this guy has been out of work? or how long he has been kept on a retainer? or even if he's on a retainer, but I should imagine this is all getting a bit much for him, if indeed he is lined up to take thee helm post takeover.

19 Jul 2016 19:34:21
Think how Kenny must be feeling more to the point.

19 Jul 2016 13:49:25
It's nearly 2pm. anything?

19 Jul 2016 14:04:09
None of this is really real. There is no spoon.

19 Jul 2016 11:27:04
If you think about it, if Morgan Sell's Wolves for 40to50 mil, how much money has he actually lost since taking control of our club? Think about it, after asset stripping the team, money from being in the premier league etc, I would say not a lot, if anything he has probably gained. Also then you've got the land he brought, and Redrow building the stand.

Wonder what good old Sir Jack would of made him?

19 Jul 2016 11:36:57
Redrow didn't build the stand.

19 Jul 2016 11:57:17
They developed Compton and Redrow profited from that one way or another.

I think SMorgan's legacy is hanging by a thread, which should be a big deal to him, his charity covers this pocket, Wolves across to Shrewsbury up to Wrexham. His charity work is actually irrelevant, he only does it to win Honours and open opportunities up for Redrow, it doesn't make a legacy on its own.

His legacy, and opportunity to be respected in this area (which I think is very important to him) will be entirely determined by how much he sells Wolves for (how he profits) and who he sells it too. He was entrusted by SJH, he got to own the club at a fraction of it's value on the basis of trust. After Moneyshop, I have zero confidence in him, I don't actually think he or Moxey know the difference between right and wrong.

19 Jul 2016 13:30:03
Ulf - Imo I think Steve Morgan tried to sell us fans when he was taking control, that he was "the new Sir Jack", which he clearly was not. Wolves was just a clever buisness opertunity for SM, he took advantage of Sir Jacks genorosity, and when he passed away, he showed his true colours. I think the Legacy when SM finally leaves Wolves, will be a mixed bag of emmisions. mostly disappointment, a lot of broken dreams and promises.

19 Jul 2016 14:18:22
I actually do think SMorgan originally had best intentions, there was nothing wrong in him seeking to make money while he was here to justify his time and investment (Β£30m) , as long as he did the right thing for Wolves. I'd bet as a property developer himself SJH saw SMorgan like that too.

Smorgan didn't do the right thing though (stand we didn't need instead of investing in team, low wages, manager fiasco, Moneyshop) , but perhaps only in error, out of naivity because he believed in Moxey's advice too much, rather than it being down to a desire to cynically exploit us and the opportunity.

Imo SMorgan has everything to prove now about his whole time here, shark or incompetent dove misled / let-down by Moxey, we shall see what he's really about when the sale is done.

19 Jul 2016 14:21:01
The way I see things' and it's an opinion, regarding sir Jack and Morgan are this, he had Jacks pants down and moxey was happy to help knowing he was to be kept on in some capacity if I hings went well for morgan' I doubt Jack would have agreed to Morgan taking over seeing how he has played the game and treated the fans.

19 Jul 2016 11:25:03
Real info from a Hot sauce, and don't shoot the messenger' 45 calories per 100 grams, think what you will but that's the info I've managed to put my hands on 😏.

19 Jul 2016 11:56:13
Yes its correct I posted it 2 days ago and was told to sit down by some. My local Spanish friends are not to happy about the choice thet want the guy we are linked with.

19 jul 2016 10:18:20
got some good news about next spain manager.
Joaquin Caparros backed for Spain head coach job.

goo.gl/zr2VNT

19 Jul 2016 10:02:52
Unfortunately everyone on here no matter how confident in what they are saying. Is talking crap. Unless you know moxey. You know nothing and I doubt he would tell you. So please don't say out if its not true. Aimed at everyone.

19 Jul 2016 10:18:30
GHJ don't come on this site then! It's for rumours and banter and tellin by your comments you've had a sense of humour bypass!

19 Jul 2016 13:13:56
Haha the thing is this is a banter and rumour site. If you're only wanting facts stick to Sky Sports/ BBC sport etc.

The fantasy/ wind up posts are actually quite amusing with people thinking this is like going to a car dealership and signing on the dotted line for your new car!

19 Jul 2016 08:54:25
Can't see Morgan risking starting season with a squad not able to compete in league, there must be something in place and players ready to come in he is a very successful businessman, the lack of denials also bodes well if there was nothing happening surely there would of been a statement from club to say so, guilleme balague is a very creditable reporter why would he come out and say what he did without any thread of evidence, just think we need to be patient and not listen to all these so called in the know bullshitters, hope it is the case cus put Β£200 on them at 33/ 1 soon as it was leaked keep the faith sure something got to be coming soon.

19 Jul 2016 09:30:02
No doubt he's a successful builder but he know sweet f a about running a competitive football club.

19 Jul 2016 08:50:30
according to Bloomberg TV robin li and his pals are defiantly not buying ac Milan . he has denied it totally . But haven't deneieid the wolves purchase, so keep calm it still could be happening.

19 Jul 2016 08:05:23
As Donald Rumsfeld once said- There are known knowns. These are things we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. These are things we don't know we don't know.
Just about sums us up! Give it a rest ITKs you are doing our heads in.
Our only known knowns are that some unknowns are in negotiation to take over the club and if this deal doesn't get over the line soon we have a paper thin team with which to start the season, and a manager who is being jerked around something rotten.
The rest is anybody's guess.

19 Jul 2016 09:13:29
What about things we don't know and don't know if others know or don't know? Because that's what it's like here.

19 Jul 2016 07:37:34
It's all ways the wolves who are last at every thing even transfer day we get excuse after excuse all been like this for years just let us know what's going on don't you think us fans loyal who been there through thick and thin still paying money to watch our team home and away just give us a bit of loyalty.

18 Jul 2016 23:27:40
Lopetigui's goalkeeper coach I mentioned following all of the wolves accounts on Twitter has now started following a director of football from China

Make of it what you want

Ps: he still follows the wolves related accounts.

19 Jul 2016 06:00:11
He's in on this elaborate wind-up with Guillem, Jackett and Dave Edwards.
