Il tell u what I think is going to happen, Morgan will take us off the market and retake his Chairmans place on the board, I've no contacts in the club nor heard any rumours just what I think will happen! REALLY HOPE i'm WRONG! 😡👎.

A pal of mine said when it was first announced he was selling the club, that he was only doing it so he wouldn't get the flak from selling Afobe, then he would come back. Looks like he may week be correct!

Sorry wolf but if jackett was givin the full 10 mil from the sale of a player like normal clubs then I would say there is a very good chance of play offs and to me that's not wasting money.

19 Jan 2016 21:53:50
I see your point but why not recruit in the summer and have a good go at the title next year, we don't want to go to the play-offs and scrape it, and then a relegation scrap every year. We have to go up with a decent team, mixed with young hungry players but also balanced amount of expirienced prem players, we don't want it to be like last time we were in the prem.

Why waste money this season? Buying players that we may not need next season? We are neither going up or going down, why not give a few of the under 21's and 18's game time ready for next year, like enobakhare and Conor Ronan. One player we do need to sign this window is a expirienced centre half, so we don't scrape it for the rest of the season. Siggy if kept fit will do a good job upfront with Zyro as support and Henry/ Byrne and unfortunately RVLP who still doesn't have any end product.

Couple of names callum wilson? To tight and slow . George friend? Sam vokes? Van la parra although he's back . Surman? Adlene geudelo all players that have done well since leaving us.

19 Jan 2016 18:54:30
Jackett might have 2 mil but will only spend 400k on striker on a two year deal with option of 1 in clubs favour might as well play Ellis for rest of season and sell him in the summer after he's banged in 10 goals of wich the money will go straight in Morgan's pocket because he will still be here come summer because wolves are slow in every aspect not being negative just saying facts.

19 Jan 2016 14:57:44
QPR sell Main striker Austin and replace with Washington all within 4 days.
Wolves sell Afobe for £10m and are still meandering around bargain basement 2 weeks later. amazing!
Nothing changes!

That's the way that the club is being ran now, on a shoestring'I don't think the majority of fans want the club to go out and spend multi millions on players but we do want decent quality replacements and reinforcements for weak areas in the team to be brought, every year that the club stay in this league it's going to become more difficult to break out of it.
Morgan either sells or he stays, I don't really think he is at fault completely for the lack of investment in proven quality players, but Moxey is a different case entirely, Morgan or whoever ends up owning the club need to show this bloke the door, he is a parasite feeding off the club, we won't get anywhere with this man in charge, it's been said before 'but look at stoke since he moved from there, it's been nothing but progression.

Strikes me that "Sod's Law" was devised by and based on the experiences of a Wolves supporter. Take for example the way we have been robbed of Dicko and now Graham this season, addin the number of ex-players who come back and haunt us by scoring on their return to Molineux. Do't wish to be a harbinger of doom but Connor Washington being on our radar for so long without us making a decisive move and we are beaten to his signature by QPR' when we were arguably in pole position. Sod, s Law. our next fixture away to QPR, with Connor Washinton likely to make his debut.
Can't continue to play the waiting game in order to save a few quid!

19 Jan 2016 19:20:59
A more untenable manifestation of the Law of Sod would be Karl Henry bagging the winner on Saturday with a screamer into the top corner from 25 yards.
No doubt that we are not fully paid up members of the 18 to 30 club, Doherty, s effort excepted, we are far more vulnerable to being caught out from that range than we are likely to score.
Lead balloon time. maybe we wouldn't, t be so susceptible to conceding goals from this range if we had a Karl Henry or, dare I say it, Karl Henry himself in our team.
Would much prefer a Karl Henry type, rather than the real article!

£2.5m for Washington. I may end up eating my words but for me, he's been seriously overpriced. Keep the faith lads - Afobe only set us back £2m. That leaves plenty left over for a centre-back and winger!

Hi All.

I posted on here many moons ago, that when it came down to the nitty gritty of it, that I thought Morgan wouldn't sell. After the comments to the BBC made over the weekend i'm starting to feel even more strongly that Morgan will back track and take the club off the market. All the rumours that fly round on these websites throwing names out are just that, purely rumours. We all love to dream (me included) and we all get swept away with the excitement when a billionaires name is thrown into a post (me included) , but the harsh reality was laid bare by the owner at the weekend, there is not anyone that has come close to advanced talks about buying the club.
In hindsight, I think that putting the club up for sale was very much a knee jerk reaction to the fracas at Preston. Morgan threw his toys out of the pram and has had to let everything settle down to basically save face.
You mark my words, Steve Morgan will still be the owner of Wolves at the start of next season, and very much back to the position he was in just a few months ago.

I'm beginning to think your right Tom Tit, he will give jackett limited funds this month then take back the reigns 100% in Feb when the Windows shut.

19 Jan 2016 14:22:46
So now afobe gone for ten million we spend 300k on zyro why qpr get 4 million for austin and go and sign Washington for 3 million and nearly a done deal on Bamford on a season loan why doh m&m just put up or shutup and do 1.

While ik excited about some of the players we are linked with I can't help but feel, while it is all good signing them, we would be no match for ANY premier league team next season if we got promoted. Personally, I would like to see us sign this Ajax lad and Williamson etc and consolidate this season with some solid performances. Best chance for us in the future is to perform consistently and get a new owner that is happy to give money to the club. Surely only then do we stand a chance of actually hanging on in the premier league (such as Watford and Norwich) . They are all spending ridiculous sums of money on players now, such as they did whilst in the championship. Frankly, regardless of who we buy now it won't make a difference. We need to finish top half and spend in the summer and put together a new squad. The return of Graham and Nouha with zyro and a couple more class signings next year would give us a solid foundation for promotion and to stay in the league.

19 Jan 2016 08:53:25
If we don't have the cash, we shouldn't spend it. Look at Bolton who like most relegated teams try and hang on to their Premier players for too long. (Like we did) . I don't know how Norwich, Watford and Bournemouth are funded. Boro and Derby seem to have money to spend too and are playing well enough to get promoted. You are right, we're not in that league. If by some good fortune we do go up, how many players would we say are Premier standard? Less than 5? So we'll need to spend big to stay up.

I'll name them: McDonald and Iorfa for sure. Dicko probably, and Ikeme. Van la Parra given the right formation, possibly Zyro although let's wait and see. After that Edwards, Henry, Batth, Golbourne, Hause, Price, Coady, Byrne, Graham, Siggy all excellent or at least good enough at this level but would they get in to a Premier team?

19 Jan 2016 11:36:31
If we haven't got the money don't spendit? Playing well enough to get promoted? My friend you are not watching Wolves that's for sure!
We are basically a very poor side employing poor tactics, we will be no where near there play offs. The performances this season have been relegation standard.
As for spending too much money that beggars belief. When have you known us do that with Morgan and Moxey? There is all this talk yet again about bringing in loads of players and we will be lucky if we see 2 come in that will be as good as it gets under this regime.

19 Jan 2016 13:27:59
DW - I didn't say we're playing well enough to get promoted, because we're not. Derby (you local team? ) and Boro are playing better than us just like they did last season and the season before that and the season before that.

And how do we know how much money there is? We all know Wolves' way. Doesn't matter how much money there is, it's cutting a good deal that matters more. We won't spend £5m on a player unless they think we can sell him for £10m next year.
