PL has done it before and will do it again and I'd like him to be given a chance by the supporters. The owners need to see the squad quality improve (via Mendes if that's their plan) significantly this summer. let's see 2 for every position - not right backs playing left back, not left wingers playing right back, not wingers playing striker. Proven expertise on the pitch. Enough of the roller coaster. I have a 300mile round trip to the Mol - Owners have pity!

18 May 2017 22:01:04
Paul T, football is a game full of opinions and u are entitled to yours. Just as I and many others are entitled to disagree with you. If PL ends up staying I will be delighted. Yes at times last season the football was boring but at other times we showed great potential. Problem is getting that consistency which I am convinced PL will achieve if left alone to build his own team. The two players he managed to get in in Jan were two of our best performers. Whether u like him or not, YOU obviously don't care about the club if u want us to have owners who change the manager every 6 months - we'll end up like Forest or Leeds or Blues - time to show some patience and togetherness and give the guy a chance. All managers no matter who they are need at least 3 transfer windows to shape there own team.

18 May 2017 22:21:36
Here, here Razor!

18 May 2017 22:54:49
At times the football was boring! Your standards must be low . Most of the time the football was boring at best I actually remember the Cardiff game and the best entertainment came from the blow up sheep .

19 May 2017 05:32:09
It is all about opinions Razorwolf, and I disagree with yours. Especially the part about not carin about the club. 😡! IMO the debate for and against Lambert is now hypothetical as I 100% believe he won't be at our club much longer and definitely won't be here for the start of the season.

19 May 2017 06:14:25
I don't think we can say both the players he brought in have been our best performers. Marshall has looked decent after an underwhelming start but weimman hasn't been that good really, yet another forward player who can run but not score.
I'm sure the fans who want lambert to go care just as much about the club as them who want him to stay, I personally think the next appointment is critical as we can't be here again in 6 months time doing the same thing but lambert is not the best man for this job.
When lambert talks about having a great rapport with the fans, do we ever sing his name? Even zenga had a song!

19 May 2017 08:38:29
Razor. unfair of you to claim PT does not care. We are all on here exactly because we do care what happens to this lovely club of ours. We all have different ideas of what should be done, that is our freedom of expression based on a desire for a better outcome. That should not be questioned.

18 May 2017 21:06:57
Karanka :-
Middlesborough promoted to Premier League, one season, relegated.
Silva :-
Hull City promoted to Premier League, one season, relegated.
Lambert:-
Norwich City promoted to Premier League, one season, not relegated.
Just sayin'.

18 May 2017 22:00:19
You can't blame SIlva for Hull big relegated.
Totally different comparisons.

19 May 2017 10:11:14
Good point FTSB. I see no point in removing PL, only to replace him with someone who has done no better!

He deserves the opportunity to show what he can do with a team of his choosing, otherwise there was no point in appointing him in the first place. The fact that he has had to persevere with other peoples left overs is hardly indicative of his true potential.

18 May 2017 18:57:09
These people saying they want a refund on their season tickets if PL keeps his job.

GET REAL. you renewed and paid while he was head coach, long before this latest talk of him going. So if you hate him and his style of play so much- why pay for your season ticket.

18 May 2017 17:38:12
End of the day. Jackett potato said the same about his job. he was gone within the week. let's hope same goes for Lambert. He's not the man for the job in my oppinion. Plays negative boring football and still does crap. His personality puts me to sleep. can't imagine what it does for the players puts them in a coma for each time then they wake up on match day. Silva looks like he could do the job he'd be my first choice.

18 May 2017 18:11:04
Yes he would be mine too but realistically I think he will have better offers.

18 May 2017 19:08:06
His Norwich side didn't play boring negative football in 2010-11, when he got them promoted. They were the Championship top scorers with 83 Goals and, more to the point, he had a full season before that to put his team together when they won League One. If he can put his own team together, who is to say he can't do it again.

18 May 2017 19:45:55
Agreed jack! Do not want another start of season like the last, new manager, multiple new signings we know it doesn't work, he wasn't my choice But he needs to be given a credible shot at the job.

18 May 2017 19:56:37
Look PL has done it before and can do it again - he should be given at least until Xmas. In regards to players - we need better ones than we have already in several positions. My gut tells me we should have heard of them and that they are proven in English football. Otherwise it's a high risk strategy are we stay on the rollercoaster.

18 May 2017 17:31:52
Surly too much smoke has been created for us to keep Lambert. Style, tactics, effort, quality and team choice all completely baffling. Even when safe he persisted to play a terrible style of football. Claiming on sky today he has the support of the fans is another baffling comment. From my seat he clearly doesn't. I don't trust him with the cash. And that's what I think will be his downfall with Fosun. His style made a £7 mil and £13 mil player look like they were worth a bag of snap and a choc bar! Time to go. I've renewed my ticket but can certainly say I'll be in the bar each sat/ tue if Lambert stays. Boring football.

19 May 2017 06:45:24
Just remember who has largely created the smoke - the rumour mongers on here who claim to be ITK. All must now prepare for EOF.

18 May 2017 14:12:44
Paul Lambert insists he's staying at Wolves, come on Fosun put us out of our misery.

God Bless you all.

18 May 2017 14:25:41
Patience, let's wait for the retained list.

18 May 2017 14:37:13
You can hear the ringing endorsements from Jeff and the board supporting PLs claims from Everest! Can't you? 😂😂😂😂.

18 May 2017 15:51:26
Maybe Fosun waiting for Silva as he was their original target but he is in demand in the Premiership therefore chances are slim . We may have to get used to the thought of Lambert and with the right business done in the summer he could do it . Love the quote that express n star vote is rigged and the forums are the best way to judge fans thoughts. lol.

18 May 2017 16:20:09
The forums give a truer readin than the e&s survey. It's not complicated to grasp it's common sense.

18 May 2017 16:53:02
Maybe pl is staying but a different role like thewells job.

18 May 2017 17:05:34
how many fans take part in this forum? I would think a small proportion of wolves fans therefore not representative . Not complicated just common sense .

18 May 2017 17:55:57
Maybe a smaller representation but a far larger Wolves representation than a paper followed by blues Albion and villa fans, so a truer readin of wolves fans opinions. For instance if the paper put a vote up for blues fans sayin do u want Zola to stay? I'd definitely vote Yes! And I'm a Wolves fan but my vote would be registered! So not a true poll. Not complicated common sense really! DOH.

18 May 2017 13:06:51
He is hardly going to go on TV and say i'm sacked or I don't like my job.

I would imagine Fosun will review everything and then make their decision and I think that includes at Board level.

They will make no announcement until they have decided on their way forward. If he is staying and their are no doubts why hasn't the retained list been announced.

As I have said be patient.

18 May 2017 13:18:57
My take on it, and I haven't seen the footage on Sky Sports so I cannot comment on what was said or in what tone, is that if he has been put on gardening leave, Fosun would not have allowed him to do the media work as part of any confidentiality clause.

That to me suggests either that he is staying or Fosun have not made any decision and he is still in place at the moment.

18 May 2017 13:54:40
He was signed up to the end of the season if I recall and therefore he will be contracted until Fosun put a new deal in place or let him go.

We have to accept, we are all guessing.

The one thing is clear we all want some stability and a long term view. Until Fosun make a statement we won't know anything and I suspect nor will the management team based in Wolverhampton.

18 May 2017 16:13:04
Lambert is on a 1 year rolling contract. This is what it said on the official Wolves site. So he still has a minimum of 6 months left.

18 May 2017 12:26:58
After reading the full quotes and I'm just going to pick out a few here " we're back in on the 26th June to start pre-season"

there's no rift on that side of things, the plans for football club behind the Scenes are ongoing, pre-seasons sorted and we've identified players we would like to help us

Absolutely you never know what can happen in football, i'm Wolves manager and proud to have done it, I'm looking forward to my break and next season

I had to break this and especially to PT but I'm convinced he's staying i'm Afaird, and just got to back him now.

18 May 2017 12:38:40
I'm proud to HAVE done it? Past tense, Matt he either hasn't got a clue what's going on or he's hidin it apart from the odd slip up talkin past tense? But no one is any the wiser after that interview.

18 May 2017 12:44:28
PT, it's clear that you hate Lambert but until the club confirm he has gone why not support him? As I said last week, players have been kept in the dark about what's going on.

18 May 2017 12:56:39
If he stays right off next season. Jackett was stayin at the beginning of the week at the end of it gone! I won't back him because I don't believe he will be here at the start of the season.

18 may 2017 10:31:15
urgent urgent
i am watching sky sports news
paul lambert is sitting at the news desk live!
he has the title of wolves manager.

18 May 2017 11:01:20
Lambert looks relaxed because he knows if he leaves he has a job at Norwich for sure. No questions asked about managerial or coaching role at wolves for future suprise suprise.

18 May 2017 11:06:34
I asked one of the players about managerial situation no one knows for sure fosun are keeping cards close to chest. But they have definitely had meetings about it.

18 May 2017 11:10:06
No Future Wolves talk, he's gone 👍.

18 May 2017 11:36:12
Lambert just said live on sky that there has been no rift between him and fosun and that he is staying. make of that what u want. personally don't believe it's all hunky dory but he could stay possible.

18 May 2017 10:14:38
Pl on sky sports now. Can't understand a word he's saying but he looks relaxed and certainly doesn't look worried or stressed about his job/ future. Not sure what to make of it all 😳.

18 May 2017 10:33:14
Can confirm this is true!

18 May 2017 11:33:09
He's talking about next season with us and transfer targets identified. Says there is no rift and happy at wolves. I hope he's a bloody good actor otherwise I want a refund on mine and my two daughters season tickets as I cannot stand to watch that crap under him.

18 May 2017 12:40:48
He's just blaggin it South Banker and spoke in past tense, only my opinion, he's gone.

18 May 2017 13:42:40
Hi Paul T,
You don't like Pul L do you. Can't comprehend what a huge difference he will achieve if allowed to get on with it. So, so negative and lacking any vision or understanding of his true ability. Remember, he worked with blunt tools the season just ended. "make do and mend - survival".
If he stays he will achieve considerable success, more likely than not - promotion.
I know - "he's gone - He's gone - He's gone". Sadly, you may be right, but I sincerely hope not.

18 May 2017 14:21:29
SADLY? U obviously don't think much of Wolves if u want him to stay!

18 May 2017 14:23:02
PT I sincerely hope you're right as I'm in complete agreement with you regarding Lambert. If he has gone/ is going I don't understand why fosun would let him do that and secondly if you were him would you have gone on there? Me personally would have said no thanks. I'm beginning to wonder if there has either been a u-turn by fosun or we have been turned down by our targets hence no comment and business as usual. Somebody please bloody tell us what's happening! Then again could just wait for his contract to end in June? I'm going mad trying to figure it all out 😳.

18 May 2017 10:14:17
Paul Lambert on sky now.

18 May 2017 09:53:08
Interesting that on William Hill website Aranka is 4/ 7 favourite to be next Wolves HC and that Paul Lambert is second favourite for Norwich job.

18 May 2017 08:23:27
If what the express and star is reporting about fosun sounding out silva and giving him a load of money to spend then we might be going forward instead of backwards .

18 May 2017 09:26:18
If that's true and its Silva they are hanging out for, and they want to give him lots of money, then that does mean that Fosen mean business, like I said before let's hear what Fosen have in mind before we keep knocking them, because let's face it Lamberts team selections and dire football at home was getting us nowere near were we want to be, also we need someone who can atract the sort of players to take us into the premier, and i'm afraid the players we have are not good enough, they will run all day and give there best but the wholespine of this team needs changing.

18 May 2017 09:29:38
I agree.
