Best wishes folks,

I'm finished commenting on here,

All the very best,

Chasetown Wolf x.

18 May 2016 22:45:32
That's a shame but can't say I blame you. It's like Groundhog Day on here!

18 May 2016 23:12:23
Chasetown,
Sorry to see you go. Hope you reconsider though. This site, like all the others, reflects the frustrations of Wolves fans. If we'd just been promoted to the PL I think things would be a lot different.
I bet comparable sites for Derby fans are also full of similar discontent, maybe even more so.

Aw, don't be like that Chasetown. Some people hare a a bit edgy about gossip but everyone's thoughts and speculations are welcome by most of us. This is far better than the E&S comments section.

Hard time to be a Wolves fan with nothing happening at the moment, if it is run the same as last year shopping at poundland to buy players, I don't now what to think, being honest wolves fans but you cannot pay good earned money to watch that football we produced at home, if nothing changes I will take up fishing and wait till we spend some money or wait for new owner or owners to come in.

18 May 2016 17:40:59
I don't know about you lot, but I'd want to sign Will Grigg so we can sing that chance.

According to the BBC website, Villa may have new owners within a week. Chinese company? £90mil was
mentioned. This may also involve writing off some or all of the £200mil debt to the present owner. Hard to compare with us as we are debt-free.

18 May 2016 12:41:57
just heard it on the radio as well about villa, make you wonder what is going on at wolves like you said debt free must be moxey fault lol.

18 May 2016 13:29:33
Indirectly justme you may be correct as everything pointing to Moxey staying in place as part of the deal, hence why a number have walked away. You see he knows too much and Morgan therefore as to look after him to keep him quiet.

18 May 2016 13:41:16
Give it time Ulf will no doubt give us his very long and boreing overview of the potential takeover and why we seem to be in limbo. I wonddr how many times he can use Einstien and Margaret Thatcher as an analogy.

Wow Spanish Wolf you do have a chip on your shoulder. Wolves isn't a herd. Its an inclusive club, we're entitled to be individuals, to debate and to state opinions about something we care about and that we may, as individuals, have different insights into and things to offer. And the club is going through a fundamental identity change right now that's bound to generate concern from some people because it is going to have significant consequences.

On topic re buyers, saw on the BBC website last night checking on play-off game that Hull look like they've had and maybe accepted an offer for a new owner (last owner selling because apparently in a sulk that FA refused to allow him to re-brand Hull to drop AFC to make it more marketable) . So that's relegated Bolton sold, now maybe Hull too (and before promotion achieved, suggesting they're looking at long-term and are good) . Obviously depends who it is and who much they're looking to pay for Hull, but if comparable to what Morgan wants for Wolves, we're doing something very wrong because we should be seen as much bigger fish and better buy than Hull.

18 May 2016 15:23:52
Ulf its not a chip at all. Some of your posts are valid and hold reason however you use 200 words when 20 would surfice plus your use of so many analagies in recent posts are not needed. I agree the club is going through a massive identity crisis and opinion is a fundimental right but please make your post more consice I might get to read one right the way through rather than nod off at paragraph 3. Asta lavista Amigo.

I wonder if it's ding lei?

18 May 2016 15:30:19
As the new season hasn't started yet and I said JACKETT would be gone before that started or I'd leave the board! Well I believe it's end of this month Jacketts contract runs out, so fingers crossed my sources will be right? I do believe we will be brought by The Money Shop and we def need them as without serious investment we will be in a relegation fight! ULF why do u go round so many roundabouts to get your point over? No need! R u a Politician? )

18 May 2016 15:39:34
Ulf,

Other clubs are selling like hot cakes. What are we doing wrong? We are surely more marketable than Bolton and Hull? Is it because Moxey stays as part of any deal? Just guessing now. The guy appears to be bombproof.

18 May 2016 15:44:29
to right ulf something does seem amiss the likes of Bolton millions in debt the same with villa, and we don't seem to get a look in it makes you think there's something fundamently wrong or the club isn't up for sale at all.

18 May 2016 16:14:31
The difference being that the Villa and hull will still be getting the parachute money and I would think makes them slightly more desirable.
The club is stagnant with moxey in charge and if Morgan isn't careful we could end up in a mess again that would be of his own making.

18 May 2016 16:59:22
Surely Wolves would be a pack not a herd? Just sayin!

18 May 2016 18:07:59
what is the point in selling the club for if moxey and jackett staying it needs a good clear out like the villa as done out with the old in with the new?

18 May 2016 18:33:27
Nice to see you back Tamworth Paul. Fingers crossed on the comments you make.

18 May 2016 19:07:08
Thanks Spanish Wolf, if those two aren't right were in for a very dissapointin season! People need to get off their high horse about Money Shop, it's 2016 the high street is packed with pay day lenders, and these are legit! Really hopin they buy us as that's are only chance of getting the kind of investment needed to reach the Prem! The protest is borin now and will not have the slightest affect! Welcome Money Shop and please buy us lock stock and barrel! And get rid of JACKETT and get a boss who knows his arse from his elbow!

18 May 2016 22:05:04
Paul T how many times does it need saying. KJ on a one year contract so it doesn't matter when it expires as they have to give him 12 MONTHS NOTICE, so he will get a years compo.
Just because it finishes at the end of this month makes no difference it is on going without the 12 months notice being given.

19 May 2016 00:29:34
Re Spanish wolf, well yes but it tends to go with the territory. Even if I can't be concise doesn't mean it's not valid, and I don't post all the time, didn't post for 2 days before posting lots yesterday. And it is about time people took Moxey on about our identity, he's been mis-comparing us to Everton for years and now him apparently misunderstanding it is doing real damage, with Moneyshop. And if they aren't the buyer (and don't mind if they are as long as they don't bring that name with them) then Moxey misunderstanding our identity is making us less saleable too, which is relevant.

Re Deepthroat, a while back on WM game commentary, Steve Daley seemed to say he believed there had been interested parties wanting to buy, and that in his opinion we do have huge potential and the fact Wolves haven't sold can only be because so far Steve Morgan hasn't wanted to sell. It roughly coincided with the rumours that someone had spoken to some guy at Rok, who said they'd withdrawn interest buying Wolves because Morgan kept adding conditions and in the end they got the impression he just didn't want to sell and was wasting their time.

It does suggest they may have had a particular buyer set up all along. But then originally there was that Heyhoe-Flint comment about Steve was just taking a break - so maybe it's just a massive tantrum. Stuff definitely doesn't add up like it should though, very weird situation from start to wherever we are now, I'm going to guess the finish will be a shocker one way or another :-)

The only way out of the rolling contract, DerbyWolf, is if Kenny is already serving his notice. Some of us wondered that a few weeks ago when it looked like he wasn't even trying for the playoffs, playing Rowe and Siggy each week.

On the Villa takeover compared to Wolves, of course Villa is more attractive. Not only because of their long association with the PL but because of guaranteed parachute payments. We don't have that luxury any more. A new owner will need to invest more with us than Villa all other things being equal. Dunno what their debt situation is, though.
