Well where exactly are the goals coming from - 7 in the last 8? Not a goal fest by any stretch. Don't think he'll drop Griffiths - but the chances of a Siggy McAlinden combo appearing at some point between now and New Year's is, for my money, better than reasonable.
PS don't think he'll tamper with the back line and doubt he'll drop Doyle.

We need doherty back asap, he gives us balance and a threat going forward as can be seen by our results since his injury.

Doherty was one of our star players at the start of the season. But we have 5 defenders for 4 places, unless Golborne is moved upfield.
The person whose place is the first team is most threatened is surely Sako. On a good day you expect one goal and one assist from him. We haven't had any good days lately.
