Great win today. does anybody know what's going on with Costa? Not in the side again today. is he really still injured? Usual conspiracy theories abound and with good cause, but does anybody know the truth?

17 Apr 2017 23:16:49
Yes Lambert does ask him.

18 Apr 2017 04:13:55
Lack of transparency is not the way a club should be run. Why can't a management team be open and honest when players 'disappear' for no apparent reason. No explanations forthcoming for Enobakhare going from future hero to zero, nor for Iorfa playing well at Reading to failing to appear on any team sheet until today. Is Jack Ruddy fit and likely to have a future at this club? Why can't we get straightforward answers. If players are not pulling their weight in training or are disruptive influences then fans have the right to know. Luke Shaw has been criticised public ally by his manager and has had to up his game. Why can't we have the Samsung transparency? Stops the rumours circulating if nothing else.

Thanks for that bit of genius Derbywolf. Agree Scottish. there are times when things need to be sorted out in house as it were but in most instances the rumours caused by lack of information from the club are usually more undermining than the truth. If Costa is effectively being kept safe because he's on his way, whilst I'll be unhappy, I won't be surprised. I'm less happy about being lied to and told he's injured if he's not. Fans need to trust those running our club - hard to do if we're either kept in the dark or lied to.

I think the club has more important things to consider than giving daily updates on the situation regarding individual players unless of course it is an important declaration.

18 Apr 2017 12:53:39
More important things than keeping or selling our best player? Like what exactly?

18 Apr 2017 17:30:28
Like I said " unless it is an important declaration".

18 Apr 2017 19:59:44
You appear to be trying to provoke a reaction so i'll just cut and paste my original post to see if anybody else can shed zny light. Great win today. does anybody know what's going on with Costa? Not in the side again today. is he really still injured? Usual conspiracy theories abound and with good cause, but does anybody know the truth?

19 Apr 2017 09:46:27
Not trying to provoke a reaction at all. Merely trying to point out that if the club tried to satisfy every fans question on each member of the squad regarding possible transfers, omissions from first team squad, injuries, etc etc. it would prove to be an almost impossible job. If there is something important to relay to fans then I am sure they would put the info out there but when it comes to transfers there will always be some caution and discussions we will not be party to, sometimes at the buying clubs insistance.

They are listening. Confirmed by Lambert today he is still injured.

17 Apr 2017 20:24:25
Just wondered whether people thought that glen whelen and Jonathan Walters from stoke would be a good option for us?

17 Apr 2017 21:17:03
Walters would be good but no way is he leaving Stoke.

17 Apr 2017 23:28:28
Crouch for me.

18 Apr 2017 09:27:55
Mentioned Walters before as the type of striker we should look at. Loads of experience to pass onto younger players coming through and a strong vocal leader on the pitch. Think he's just signed another contract for a year though.
Would prefer Ledley, Larsson or Carrick to Whelan. Anyway Lambert's only two signings so far have improved the team, the choice is his. or Kevins, or Jeffs, or Mendes.

17 Apr 2017 18:48:11
You don't have to play fifa for fans to point out players that we need to make our a club a top 3 club. sako being a realistic target. along with Abraham. some fans still live in the moxey era. players like Sako are below the types of players we can actually afford. or do we still want the Freddy Eastwoods from the lower leagues?

17 Apr 2017 18:44:37
No matter what goes on at our club- the ups, the downs. The disappointments.
No matter what's said on here, the disagreements and banter, (my apologies Paul Tamworth) .
There's always a silver lining.
Let's all be thankful that we aren't blue noses.

Let's all laugh at Birmingham πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

17 Apr 2017 19:02:27
No apologies needed, if we all agreed about the same thing this site would be boring. We're all Wolves and passionate πŸ‘.

17 Apr 2017 19:47:08
To right Paul
Loud and proud
Wolves aye we.

17 Apr 2017 17:40:52
John Terry has announced that he is leaving Chelsea at the end of the season. FOSUN, act NOW and sign him up.

17 Apr 2017 18:20:19
That works for me. natural leader.

17 Apr 2017 18:47:26
Would be a great signing.

18 Apr 2017 11:01:54
Yes he has a couple of seasons left in him at our level. But his wage demands would be a bit out of our league.

17 Apr 2017 17:04:50
All the knockers on twitter about the starting line up, where are ya

17 Apr 2017 17:33:28
Reminded me of Liverpool match sometimes we need to be scrappy and strong sometimes we need flair and speed any good result a goal for Nouah and another start for Saiss

oh and by the way we are definitely safe from relegation now but it's squeaky Brum time!

17 Apr 2017 18:49:06
Great 3 points and safety! πŸ‘ Balls in your court now Fosun? Quality players pleaseπŸ‘.

17 Apr 2017 01:09:47
Think we need a new gk because lonergan is dodgey and burgoyne not quite ready and ikeme isn't cutting it right now hiwever signing a good goalkeeper is hard Definitely 1 cb - flint maybe 2 but I think hause ha potential he has just had bad games this year Keep coady and docs as fb with Dom to cover and maybe another on for when docs has these dips in form I quite like Oviedo at Sunderland but don't know if he will be available because they r going down 2 midfielders one leader and one maestro (nagey I think the hungarian from the euros) and then a class goalscer eg bamford Abraham

Which players do u think fit these roles.

17 Apr 2017 06:46:55
Lots of experienced keepers who have contracts up this summer. Adrian (W. Ham) would be good. Not sure if anyone would like him back but Hennessey (C. Palace) . Think Lambert may like Ruddy (Norwich) . Also Eduardo (Chelsea) and Willy (M. City) .

17 Apr 2017 17:34:30
We have a Ruddy in the team already what happened to him?

17 Apr 2017 17:38:22
Willy and Dicko in the same team will get us noticed.

17 Apr 2017 17:55:16
If we signed Rod Fanni, Danny Shittu and Bjellend, we'd have to censor our team sheet.

17 Apr 2017 18:22:10
Abrahams yes but no thanks for Bamford.
