Is that the sound of a pin dropping? Disappointing as it was not to win, maybe as a bit of a reality check it did no harm coming when it did. The table shows just how close things are - so I for one have stopped my sneaky glances at the bottoms (suppose I should put the full stop there, Ed), anyway, at the bottoms of the 2 leagues above us to guess the shape of the Championship for 2014 -15.

The run-in in terms of difficulty is pretty even between the top three so I expect everyone will be equally knackered come the Easter round of matches and the final stretch. Special mention to Paul for coming all the way from Australia to holiday in Ireland and then straight to Molineux for yesterday's match - talk about club before country, but what can a life-long wolver do? Happy St Patrick's to Paul and all wolves fans everywhere. wolfshead.

Can we complain about a goalless draw after 9 wins? I doubt Chelsea would string 10 wins in this league either. It's kind of the way statistics goes. We only start worrying if the next 2 or 3 games are winless.

We have to lose our games in hand over Orient, or have lots of draws, to finish below them. So promotion is something we can really believe in. Would be nice to wrap it up with a few wins in the next few games but this is Wolves so it will not be quite so easy.

Hopefully our rivals will drop points too.
