Is he part of the squad in Austria? . as surely he would have been an ideal replacement for Marshall.

He was injured when we signed him. Still a couple of weeks away from full fitness.

My mistake. he was Nuno's first signing and got injured before pre-season commenced (probably a holiday injury or in gym) .

Tom Huddlestone gone to Derby for £2million, would have snapped him up at that price, think Derby are my dark horses to win league, we really need to show our muscle again and sign a top quality striker x2 still hearing Oliviera about to sign 🙏 would be very happy if we get him, less than 3 weeks till kickoff come on Big Jeff time is ticking.

Derbyshire are still spending and bringing in Tom Lawrence and Huddleston seems pretty good business. Weiman and Chris Martin are back but Ince and Will Hughes has gone. Rosetta will get them organised and they will be a threat. My thoughts on other playoffs contenders are Villa Boro Norwich and Fulham. Sunderland still seem in freefall. But our squad should match up to all these with one or two strikers.

No, too old now. Past his best days. The days of our club signing players at 35-36-37, at the back end of their career, look to be gone- thankfully. We can, and will, do a lot better than Robbie.

LA Galaxy let him go to give the younger lads a go, that tells me his legs have gone. Robbie was a great player and will have the odd good game and score some wonderful goals but over the season he won't do anything special in my eyes.
We move on with better players now.

No one seems to want to give Jack Price a fair crack of the whip! He has been very good in the two pre-season games so far.
Yes, we have money to spend but Nuno said right from the outset he will make the players here already better. Let's see if he can do that. Price seems to be benefitting and the fact he is on the tour suggests he is likely to be in the plans. I for one would prefer him in the side than Saiss as he can at least pass! As for passing sideways, his role is to break up play and bring the creative players into play. In the first two games, job done!

I thought last season. price looked fine then all of a sudden he seemed to go into his shell and went missing some games. if he can be more consistent then maybe cover for a new mf. but surely we need 2 strikers. asap.
