I see munchengladbach handed out letters to their fans to give to their bosses because they stayed an extra day away from work to watch their team play man City in the champs league after it was postponed due to the weather. I think wolves should do something similar and hand out letter apologising for the way I had to have an extra day off work because I was so angry at the way the team played against Barnsley. Arrrrrgggghhhhhh.

I was thrilled at the prospect of having the cash for 8 new quality players. Not sure at the moment what we have ended up with. Bodvarsson was an absolute steal but we have signings who are injured, not ready, talented and tricky but lightweight, too big a squad and quite honestly it would take a genius to graft a promotion challenging team out of that at the moment. There are some basics we all know. Players need a run of games to get match sharpness, a team needs to get an understanding of each other which only comes by playing together and wholesale chopping and changing is a recipe for disaster. We have been undone by Van la Parra, Bradshaw and Hammill and teams from league one.
There is history at the club of spectacular failure and saying you are going to get promoted doesn't make it happen without the right strategy and decision making.
We have had foreign player experiments before and I remember Mick buying a number of cheap journeymen like Halford instead of a smaller number of talented players.
I believe we have gone OTT with numbers and caused a self inflicted problem . I am sure Fosun will sort the right way out in time but whether we will be adrift by Christmas or whether Walter will be down the tube by then remains to be seen. Escaping from the Champo is the toughest job for a manager especially for one with no track record.

Wolves are relegation fodder. League One next season. Naive owners, no strategy, no vision. Results don't lie. This club is going backwards. Moxey was a great CEO, replaced by a lightweight marketer.

2 defeats in 7 games isn't the catastrophe some are thinking. Vast changes, lack of a proper pre-season etc, common sense says it will be inconsistent for a while unless we're lucky or scrape results through moments of magic. W4, D4, L4 is what I thought on day 1 would be the opening 12 then we should see improvement. Then and only then should we fail to improve do we need to panic. I'd be more worried if the board started sacking managers within 10 games.

If we're struggling come November the board will act. Not 2 weeks into September (or at least I hope that's the case)

I'm sure Marco Silva is learning English as we speak if things don't work out however I hope Zenga makes it work as I like the fella.

Your assumption on Marco Silva learning English is indeed correct.
I have a mate who's sister is a English teacher abroad who has been helping him with his English for the last 6weeks.
If Zenga flops which I hope he doesn't Silva is apparently a shoe in for the job.

I did warn when people were saying can't wait till Burton come and well take them apart and how teams would be quaking in their boots etc etc. well one thing I do know is we undoubtedly have signed some quality footballers but are we a team? NO and none of these blokes can tackle. need to get back to basics because its only going to get worse. imagine these blokeswhen its freezing cold away at Wigan Barnsley Burton etc etc. roll your sleeves up and get stuck in! """.

Been reading what Thelwell as said and still confused on what he as said he seams to think we are going the right way and he also says that Walter as final say in transfer decisions, I hope we are going in the right way, but I have not seen nothing yet to back that up, even Jackett would not of lost 4-0.at home.
If we are going in the right way, try telling Wolves fans that the results and performance of the players against Huddersfield, Burton, Barnsley are exceptable, they don't boo your side at home for nothing and let's face it if the players gave up like Walter says they should be named and shamed and dropped from the first team because what I saw the other night was a shambles no effort whatsoever outclassed by a team that had 2 of our rejects in there side and one from Walsall who scored against us who we were interested in .
I now it's early days but the same old mistakes keep happening poor defending not enough creativity lack of good quality goalscorers who can get you 20 goals a season which you need to get out this Division which I am afraid we have not got and to me we are not even close to getting one and midfield need to start scoring also, so now I have had my say and said what I think is wrong I realy hope Walter can sort it out, because if we realy want to get into premier we need to start getting a settled side and get some points on the board, the championship this year looks a very strong league and we have a realy tough game this weekend at Newcastle if we perform like we did against Barnsley then I would hate to think what the score will be.

Have to laugh at comment made by Thelwell saying it was good business in selling stearman and having him back for nothing.
To say it was good business does that mean £2 million was a great offer and that we could not refuse that amount
That's saying he was overpriced and not worth that amount so why did we have him back, when is loan ends we still have to pay something for him unless is contract is up and he leaves for free, Fulham don't want him and it's clear as daylight he is not the answer if we are to move forward with the money at our disposal that we are to believe we have, he will always make that odd mistake like he always does which proves costly although I will say one thing always gives 100 % but we must get a settled back four and stop giving silly goals away, no disrespect to Barnsley but they tore our defence apart Doherty was awful kept backing off instead of tackling in fact you could drop at least 8 players from that team, because they would not be missed that's for sure.
