its a three horse race jackett, coyle and mclaren but remember millwall are after a manager and coyle and mclaren would sooner work in the championship so that leaves jackett not everyones cup of tea so does he go for warnock I would be surprised if morgan went for an up and coming manager now that he has failed three times. warnock on a twelve month contract? not my ideal choice if it was my choice then I would choose coyle

Warnock never been mentioned an never will a. No good and b. Been around longer than jesus so no chance of Morgan sayin here's twelve months then search again next year your being foolish siewolf {Ed003's Note - I think Warnock is taking up a position at Plymouth anyway}

Leeds fan in peace: any news on Doyle coming to elland road on your side? Haven't seen much of him this season would he do much for us?

He can't score for toffee,, headless chicken springs to mind

Sorry mate - when he goes it will be to Celtic. Class act who has had a poor season

Does he need a lift there? I'll drop him off free of charge.

Hey that your clearly not a wolves fan,, Doyle as not played well for 3 seasons or are you not watching

Not biting

What do you mean 'not biting', Doyle was probably the first decent player wolves bought under mick. Was superb and instrumental in our getting promotion. However, has not been any good as a striker for the past 3/4 seasons.

Doyle joined us after we got promoted.
He is a awful player can't score for jack.
Be glad to see back of him tbh.

The truth will set you free.

You lot can't be wolves fans because your getting your info all wrong, Doyle didn't come till after promotion and only played well for 1 season. get your facts right or clap else where.

Get KH out

I no he's an ex Baggie but if we could get him I'd go for di matteo or failing that I'd go for Warnock think our players need a bit if a kick up the backside last season our players thought they where to good for the league and showed no where near enough and ended up not being good enough to stay in it. complete lack of leadership and same old faces and excuses with no defence and no creativity.

During the current climate at our club I think there are several phrases that need to be eliminated from the statement eventually issued by the board re the new manager.

1. Left field choice and/or curved ball by Morgan.
2. As yet untried and/or novice.
3. Likes to play the long ball.
4. Strange choice by Wolves management.
5. Neil Warnock.
6. Rank outsider.

Feel free to add to the list.

A point to prove
Been out of the game for a while but.
Appointed from within

Womens football is not that different from the mans game

Mr Docherty has expereince at the highest level

Good point. Let's approach Hope Powell for manager.

I know Jenny Jackett is the rumour mill's (and bookies') favourite just now.

But if we're after a "Head Coach", why would we appoint Jackett?

Something doesn't stack up here.

Is that Kenny's wife?

Mclaren is sounding more and more interesting to me!

Why, has he been practising his dutch accent?

WILKO

Gosh I like your humor!

All the betting sites have kenny jacket as nailed on favourite. let's just hope he is better than McClaran?

He has short hair - won't need a brolly when it rains.

He is favourite because it has been confirmed that he has been interviewed. When somebody else is interviewed they will become favourite

does no one remember what steve bull did to stafford rangers? we don't him near the job. good striker but he would be ten times more out of depth than saunders

I have to agree. That he would be out of his depth. But it has been a long time since he was with them. He probs has more badges now. But to be honest I don't see Bully as a manager/head coach. And I wouldn't want him to jeopardise his great relationship with wolves. I'd prefer him as a striker coach more than head coach.

15 May 2013 08:35:33
i understand that people may not like warnock but he would do a good job no one can deny. my favourite is still coyle. sako will go for 5mil if he leaves, arsenal could do with moxey when it comes to selling their best players they would make a mint. as long as we get rid of ohara and johnson I don't mind

15 May 2013 08:14:29
Dennis wise is one you haven't discussed and he is in pole for the coaches job.

Wouldnt mind him to be honest.

15 May 2013 08:11:36
so now you want david platt? as a manager he has done zilch only went to man city cus he can speak fluent italian to help mancini

I bet when Mancini gets a new job he takes Platt with him. He must have a lot to offer if he was at a top club like citeh and they wanted him to stay. You don't end up there if your rubbish

I've been looking at other rumour sites. No gossip at all from supporters of other clubs that they are looking at any of our players except Leigh Griffiths and Sako. You reap what you sow, eh lads?
Millwall fans are saying that Owen Coyle is having an interview there.
Finally, I spent some time with someone who works at the Molinuex last night. He knows nothing of what's happening on the playing side, but off the field 150 of the staff could lose their jobs. They have been told that if all the players gave up one week's wages, 20 jobs would be saved. Whether this proposal has been put to the players, I don't know.

Yes I can see Coyle going to Millwall rather than us. If only because premier footy is achievable after one season rather than two.
