Big news coming out of Wolverhampton this afternoon. Owner Steve Morgan is close to selling the club to a Far East royal family. Sheikh Mustapha Futi Kulub is said to close to purchasing the club for around £25m. He is keen to have a team in England and sees Wolves as sleeping giant. It is thought that the Sheikh prefers the thought of building a club up from scratch than buying one already established. The source believes that money is no object and the club will have virtually endless funds once the deal goes through. Kenny Jacket is safe in his job and the Sheikh was fully aware and supported his appoitment. This is all fact and an announcement is expected in the next 7/10 days.

Would that be the same Sheikh Mustapha Futi Kulub that purchased Warbury Warriors about 5 years ago! And then sold it on to 'The Peacock' Fabian de Guisson! Who in turn sold it to Scrapper Griswell. Before it eventually landed back with Li Ming who reinstalled Nick Jarvis! Me thinks it is!!!

When we were relegated from the Prem I thought " oh well, at least we can look forward to winning a few now" oops.

Well guys and gals what are your predictions this season. Will we go up in a canter as Champions or otherwise. Bookies have us as favourites. Well, what's your thoughts.

With the firepower we have i'd say yes up with a canter
The only prediction I'd make is that we are likely to ship out about a dozen players (including Hunt and E-B out of contract). As the majority of those going would be first names on the team sheet, any talk of canters, champions, etc, including what the bookies say is just plain ludicrous. We just don't know what the shape of the team/squad will be - even bl. dy Brentford, Walsall or Crewe have a much better idea of how they're going to shape up at this point than us.
KJ has got to build up a team and, a squad - let's hope he gets the chance to this properly. So I'm going to wait to see how he has tackled the first phase of this operation - earliest indication, say mid-August (end-Sept at the latest).
In-bound transfers will be crucial.

We were second favourites to go up last year before we started kicking the ball. The bookies must enjoy taking bets on Wolves.
Of course we're favourites to go up. But why did we lose to Peterboro, Burnley and Huddersfield? These teams aren't much different to L1 teams.
But what we have is money. Quite simply, we can buy promotion if we get everything else right. Well, that's the hard bit.

Here we go again, Jackett trying to soften the fans about old heads in the team. Henry, Ward and Foley are going to survive the chop so that means Jackett will get the sack about Xmas and another wasted season ahead. You need old heads alright but these 3 have rotted away now.

I quite agree these 3 need to move on, all are bloody good championship players but not the eyes of our supporters unfortunately. They cannot put a foot wrong for 80 minutes then 1 stray pass then they get slaughtered. They would be an asset to any team in the championship but on a hiding to nothing at Wolves.
Jackett is a fool if he thinks Wolves fans are going stand by and watch these 3 inept players get another manager the sack, I and my friends will boo these players and we not be fooled again by them.
The sooner they are out of molineux the better and wolves team can move on
