Just watched the boys on tour and have to say Batth Price Deslandes Mason lack the quality that most of the others have, all need replacing.

Price was impressive today - I'm prepared to take back my previous criticisms of him. I'm concerned about Danny Batth. He looks ponderous - if only he was quicker. Mason looked a bit lost today. Otherwise very promising.

I watched the game too. Back 3 of boly Miranda and bennet looked good. Midfield of Douglas Saiss neves and doc and a front 3 of cav dicko and someone covering for costa ( but not mason) and we will be good for top 6. If we can sign a forward that can improve on dickos movement then fine. But the others ain't good enough.

Give the lad a break under nuno seems to have learned from some good coaching seems that's all the team needed wos a real coach! it looks like price and co have come on leap and bounds I really think if we would of kept bod he would of done the same but I hear most of you onwards and upwards gold and black army on the march.

Barry Douglas has just posted a picture a video in Instagram story say chilling with the " skip " (skipper) danny batth. I think that put ends to any rumours of who the captain will be for next season as let's be honest the players will already know and with Edwards taking the captains armband in second half Saturday I think that tells you Nuno is keeping him as vice captain.

I know this may be a surprise to some people but to me it's not as Nuno has constantly banged on about the experience of the older players also tells ya DB ay going nowhere and as I say the players will already know who the captain is for next season so I doubt BD is wrong here.

The only way Batth will have anychance of a start is if Nuno plays 3 centre haves. Nuno won't upset things while on tour but I expect a change in captaincy when the team comes home. Batth will be a bench warmer at best Nuno wants football playin footballers not hoofers.

At the moment Batth seems to be the no nonsense, get the ball out if there type of defender. Boly is the towering powerhouse who intimidates the opposition and Miranda the elegant Alan Hansen type ball playing defender. Maybe Nuno has seen something in all 3 and believes that they could work together.

The championship is tough and we all know we need a couple of goal scorers and I'm sure fosun will address this but what we have been crying out for for ages is a midfield enforcer. we have some good technical players but how many of our midfield get stuck in. the reason I say this is I've just read Jack price saying he's glad to be playing. surely with neves here now he can't be a starter
And before I get lambasted have a look at the other top teams in this league. they've all got one.
