Possible Signings
Joe Lewis (Peterborough), Tomasz Kuszczak (Man Utd).
Tel Ben Haim, Erik Huseklepp, Márkó Futács (Portsmouth), Ross McCormack (Leeds), Peter Whittingham (Cardiff), Matthew Bates (Middlesborough), Andy Webster, Andrew Driver, Ryan McGowan, (Hearts), Brett Pitman (Bristol City), Ross Wallace, Charlie Austin, Jay Rodriquez (Burnley), Martin Cranie (Coventry), Adrian Mariappa (Watford)

I dubt our ability to sign some of those players, if they are actually good for the club or even their desire to join us, but if I was manger, those are some of the players I'd be looking at.

As for manager, I like the sound of Sean O'Driscoll. Lee Clark is not the answer, I don't think we'll get the calibre we'd like, e'g OGS so I am still trying to decide on the boss, but that's my opinion on the players, I'm sure some will disagree, but we're all entitled to our own opinions.

What is it with people wanting to sell SEB! He was superb in our Championship winning season. He's Championship quality and will push for golden boot next season.

The bloke is a fat lazy t&:!, his body language alone the last few seasons says it all, what do you think he's been waiting for us to be relegated before turning it on?! Please wake up!! He hasn't looked bothered for ages!

Not good enough for the PL. More than capable in the Chump.

Your wrong he got injured when we went up he's not been right since n some them players you say sign rubbish go for loans from big clubs

Agree SEB will be top player in the Championship, so would Milijas. Just think we should sell a good chunk of players and start again. That's why I put him on the sell list.

Agree with the post above to, we should look at loans from big clubs, but also look at signings from those that go up or stay up and improve e.g. Swansea/Norwich that look to improve.

I don't get the whole selling Stearman, he was awesome in the championship and he is better now, although i do like the look of the transfers suggested especially andrew driver of hearts!

Don't need any wingers we got 4 even if Jarvis goes Menzies-Laing Gorman hammill n kites n if you need we got zele all we need is an experienced centre half left back n a 25/30goal a season forward if fletch goes

Griffiths' stock valus has gone up lately. He's trouble, but he's having a good run at Hibs.

I'd keep Sylvain. I know it was 3 years ago but he was the striker who got us back into the prem. Otherwise I agree with the general thrust of what you're proposing.

Hi some interesting ideas, I would keep Henry as I think he is a very good player and a great leader.

I've been reconsidering about Henry all day! Been thinking who would be captain next year and he'd still be the best choice. Plus, a midfield of Kightly, Henry, Guedioura, Hammill sounds very exciting!

With regards to Stearman, again, as SEB, would do a fantastic job for us in the Championship. I just feel that our youngsters can step up and we are in need of a mini clearout.

SEB was great in the fizzy pop 3 years and
3 stone ago.Dunno about now though.

Apparently can get odds of 9-1 for us to win the Championship next year already. Think I may stick a tenner on it.

I'll stand that bet.

Team

Seriously? Why get rid of Stearman and Berra? both of them are much better than turner and hudson, and Carayol!? the one who helped lincoln city get relegated to the conference then moved to Rovers? wow

papers say norwich will bid for johnson in the summer...perhaps deli smith will feed him up a bit and keep him out the pub

I know ,it said he is only a 11 stone in the program ,,,far too light for a 6 feet 4inch central defender

talking in the sucker last night about mccarthy my mate claims mick recruited 12 centre backs for wolves wecouldnt name them all any ideas this was mentioned relating to the fact that being a centre back himself he couldnt get that position right amongst others

Mick's centre half signings:
G Breen N Collins C Fleming (loan)
D Wheater (loan) D Ward C Berra
M Mancienne (loan) J Shackell
R Stearman R Zubar S Mouyokolo
R Johnson
= 12 (13 if you count Mancienne twice as he was loaned twice)

I think Breen was recruited a day or two before Mick took over. I've no doubt that MM would have sanctioned the deal but don't think he was actually in charge when the deal was done.

Plus all the other dodgey signings over the years.

Jemal Johnson, Darren Potter, Freddie Eastwood, Stephen Elliott, George Friend, Matt Hill, Greg Halford, Stefan Maierhofer, Jelle van Damme.

Too many bad buys.

More to do with the scouting network we have got (stay away from YouTube me thinks), seriously we fish in a very small pond, lesson learned new manager must present a contacts list prior to interview!

Well hey, Wheater's turned out good :P

I POSTED THE TEXT ABOUT MICKS CENTRE BACKS IM REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE REPLYING POSTERS YOU PUT ME TO SHAME

Breen was Mick's man having been in the Irish squad and at Sunderland under him. Forced Paul Ince out to make way for him.

(Much like Anderton followed Hoddle around.)

Anyone see a pattern buiding up here?

Player of the Season? Only one choice for me. Frimpong.

Craddock. 1 start, 1 win. No-one deserves the award this season, so I would give it to Jody.

Give it to Johnson...oh sorry you said player of the season not session..so scrub that

Only person who could get it is kites

Jarvis has been the only player with anything different about him this year, plays equally well with both feet. Has to be.

Half way through the season it would have been Jarvis. But he looks out of sorts now. Craddock and Frimpong we saw only too briefly. If Kites was back in the team sooner, yes, he'd be a candidate. As things stand it's hard to see past Fletcher for POTS.

(Certainly can't be a defender getting the award)

Guedioura. Now a Forest legend.

Lee Clark for next manager if we can't get Poyet? Clark has his problems relating to transfers and such but DOF may actually address this!

OMG, are you the same guy or something that keeps banging on bout him ? he's untested, and done resonably well with alot of money in a lower division, BIG DEAL !

I bet youre the guy who bangs on about ogs untested or what or did you bang on about bruce tested but not up to it i wonder

Perhaps he's his agent

Remit promotion, survival, kick on to lower mid table security, all named candidates should have some evidence they can provide this, or are we going to do a Newcastle when promoted would accept the later but can M&M deliver this current evidence suggests no.

Let's make next Sundays game against man city a white flag day to show the two m's that we blame them for surrendering any chance we had of staying in the premiership when they appointed TC , any thoughts on it ? Tamworth wolf

Im afraid ur wasting ur time ,this lot aint the old wolves guard

Great idea but crowd to nice and clappy nowadays

Bore off Tamworth wolf.

For a laugh when the vote for the player off the year comes along just Geudioura, Hammill of Vokes cos i dont think any them deserve it

Be be fair Geudioura has been the best Wolves player this year. He's just not been wearing a Wolves shirt!

Leigh Griffiths ditto.

Now we are down and playing in the Championship next season... How about this....we are obviously gonna loose some of our top players..i.e. Fletcher, Jarvis, Doyle, Henna.etc...why not buy one top class defender and save the rest of the money.....at the same time get Vokes and Guedioura back from loans and give accadamy lads a chance at least until January..the likes of..James Spray,Ashley Hemmings, Zeli Ismail....if they are good anough and old anough, give them a chance...Isnt that what the accademy is for......thoughts please.....

Its ok bringing 2 or 3 young ones in but if you want to get straight back to the premiership you need experience. just ask Tommy Docharty

I reported a few weeks ago Zeli Ismail according to a senior member of staff at comptons opioion progression has slowed up conciderably.

Like the thought of a top class defender but remember we will be Champo next season (not officially mind, where there's life etc.) so therein lies the difficulty. How do you attract that type of player - Prem quality playing Champo or Champo with Prem potential. Anyway assuming we did, if the lad Bates from Boro wanted a change of shirt for next season and onwards, I wouldn't object too much. Otherwise Sterra and Berra. Oh + Batth.

Mick on Absolute Radio yesterday evening being interviewed by Ian Wright. He admitted that his biggest regret was not dismantling the squad at the end of last season and trying to take us forward. He acknowledged that it was a mistake to try to continue to compete with basically a good Championship squad. He also confirmed that he expects to be back in work soon either at a Premier League team or at international level. Watch out for some plain speaking at the Euros - he is booked for some commentry at the BBC. Finally, whatever you think of Mick as a person I think we should all remember him fondly despite the mess we are now in, that he has contributed to significantly. I hope we can start afresh in the Championship with another manager with his ability to embrace the young and hungry policy that served us so well but then move forward if we ever get promoted.

Mick is a great guy but the board are there to make the really tough decisions and that is why we are where we are.......Things should have changed last summer but all seemed smug in the boardroom.

Mick will be at Barnsley next season. Watch this space.

We need Mick to get back into management as soon as possible, preferably with a Championship club. Only then will we see the back of Ward, Edwards, Berra, Stearman and any more of his favourites.

Sell, sell, sell!

Wouldn't have heard the interview in any event, but just to ask, did Mick offer any reasons for sticking with a Champiohship squad. Secondly he did get to spend the thick end of £40m in the 3 Prem years, so the squad was strengthened. My own thoughts are that the stadium/Compton rebuild shafted the spend he/we should have made in summer 2011. Would love to talk to Mick over a pint and discuss these points and more.

He didn't go into detail about any reasoning behind his decision. My guess is that it was a mixture of loyalty and a lack of funds. I would love to join you both for that pint because there must be a hidden agenda somewhere at the club that we will probably never know about.

The hidden agenda will probably be revealed in the few next weeks - so much cheaper to manage in the Champo.

we know we are down so why no statment of intent from morgan.i think he is treating fans like sheep in thinking we will just pay our money because we wil follow wolves regardless.but we do have brains and will not be taken for fools.we all know the damage morgan has done and he wont be forgiven.he is not wanted here and he should admit he cannot run our club and go.when he has gone along with moxey then we can look forward to the good times returning but if these two stay i dont think we will ever get up again.

What exactly has Morgan done wrong?

Long list how about opening his mouth re whats going on what he plans to do

What has he done wrong? what has he done right more like!!

You dont get where he has got in buisness without being shrew. I think he has learned afew lessons these last 2 seasons and that football is not bricks and mortar but alot of peoples emotions and he wont want to go thriuygh those seasons again.....hopefully.

Sorry fellow fans morgan has lost my respect why he has gone about things after Blackburn he should have acted puting in connors not showing us respect all he needed to say i am on top of things and it will be put right

I can only fault Morgan for sacking someone then relagating us by not appointing a qualified manager. I agree he tried hard but turning down Ray Wilkins for TC a massive error in judgement as TC part of the original problem were still in the same place if not worse. Morgan has deserves the chance to get it right his next appointment will be make or break, Moxey accountable for relegation as he kept MM on after last season so he must take the wrap as MM already has.
