steve morgan has put a lot of money into wolves his mistakes have included giving most of it in backing mccarthy he was right to sack mad mick but he was deluded in having curbishly as his plan B if he gets anywhere near a job you can be sure he will do a runner then he appoints three yes three novice managers when an old head was needed I e such as peter reid I really hope deano does the biz but one thing is for sure mr morgan is being badly advised then I think where in this sorry mess does mr moxey come in

Why does everyone complain about steve morgan and jez moxey? If Steve Morgan decided to sell the club we would end up with a owner like the venky's. Jez moxey hasn't done anything wrong he has achieved the impossible by getting over 20 million for 2 average players. So could someone tell me what steve morgan has done wrong other than some dodgy appointments

I hope your ready for a long list.

I would take the Venky's over Morgan any day. Morgan is no good to any one. Shame he didn't buy Liverpool!

I think he has done excellent except for 2 major decisions - appointing terry connor and then dean saunders - those two alone have bought the club to its knees and will have huge ramifications for our future. DS will take us down make no mistake although ultimately it is the high paid players that will take us down (ward / foley / johnson / o'hara / doyle / henry) a core of non performing couldn't care less as long as they get their money.

The venkys. Two chicken farmers who havnt got a clue about football. Yet they are still safe from relagation this year

Safe from Championship relegation. Blackburn used to be a good Premier team with a good manager before they took over.

And I suppose then you think playing under Solbakken where we were ripped apart most game was actually better.
If ever some of you guys actually faced up to the truth it would be a miracle.

I think the second poster needs to take some of his own advice. We were never "ripped apart" under Solbakken. We played better football and actually won more than 1 game.

Wanted it to work for SS, but quite frankly, it was "emperors new clothes"

I hope i'm wrong with this statement but I think morgan & moxey are waiting for our great club to go down once again for the following reasons.
1) ground improvement - if the attendencies are low he ain't got many fans to move also this adds to his empire more money he can get for the club.
2) players wages (25 mil per year) if we go down the club ain't got to pay the players such high wages.
3) the less money the club costs morgan to run the more money for either Redrow or himself.
i really hope we don't go down again but guys & girls I really see this happening now the players look and play like they don't care they all know regardless the score they can pick up there big wages no questions asked so why bust a gut!. I've renewed my season ticket but I can understand why fans have not, if we make the effort the first thing the club and players should do is the same its just discusting to see. why oh why is our great club in this state i'd honestly thought when morgan brought the club the big ideas he had for it would happen how wrong was i. the only reason I can come up with is that he realised the true cost of creating a succesfull football club and he ain't got the money to do this or if he has he doesn't want to spend it all on Wolves Fc. ie the right Manager/ players/ coaches. I really think if he keeps with Dean the least he should do is support him with money and a director of football who can advise him better. no affence Dean but the club is to Big for you all on your own!, just my thoughts
