How much do u think stale will get to spend not including player sales ?

I think 7 million, rumors are its less than 5 million due
to his poor start.

Love him or hate him, Karl Henry is wolves through and through, been a great servant to the club.

However I think there is a good chance he is the mystery player leaving, being 28 you would of thought he'd of Been making noises about ending his career at wolves and maybe staying on as coach one day.

Other player it could be is Kevin Doyle, a player very much admired by others with a good reputation, with his low wages would an attractive prospect to other lower prem teams and hardly set the champ alight at wolves, maybe stale wants rid of both strikers and will start from scratch.

Most likely though has to be, e likes cake. Player who did it for mick and wolves and was instrumental to our promotion however recent years haven't been kind on his figure or his goals and maybe has lost his mojo, surley at less than a million is an attractive proposition to Ipswich ? Hardly a shock to most of us if he leaves yet stale may see it so considering his importance to wolves success in recent years...

What are your thoughts ? Who do you think this mystery player leaving is......

Team wolf :)

I'm hoping it's ebanks flake...but I've got a bad feeling it could be Johnson...we will be up poo creek without a paddle if it is...

Do hope its Blake.3 years ago he could cut it in this league but no more. He is not quick enough and we need someone who scores for fun in this division. Doyle is not a prolific scorer but he does put in 100% in a game and can set up others. Blake does not. In January we need a proven goalscorer to the division (easier said than done I know) and help for Johnson in defence. Johnson and Henry need to stay as Henry is a good Captain on the field and Johnson at the moment is on course to be Player of the Season for me any way.

TDW just read your text about wolves greatest european matches you didn't mention the win against juventus 2-1 at the moll also we lost to spurs 2-3 on aggregate the way you put it made it look like we had won 3-2 sorry to be picky

That is what I meant Sorry, I rushed it i meant spurs 3 wolves 2 and wolves 2 juve 1 (not 1-1 although we have had that result against them)

Any one else remember Wolves v Locomotive Liepzig in the early 70's. We won 4-1 at home but lost on away goals if my memory serves me right. Great night.

This is some of our greatest European games:
(for those of you that don't know about wolves European honors)

Wolves-Dynamo Moscow 2-1
Wolves-Spartak Moscow 4-0
Wolves-Real Madrid 3-2
Wolves-Juventus 1-1
wolves-Spurs 3-2 aggregate
Our total record is: P32, W16, D6, L10, GF59, GA44.

Other interesting facts:
Our win against Spartak was watched by a crowd of 55,480 being the biggest crowd for a friendly ever,
The first foreign team to win at Molineux in a post-war friendly was the West German side Hanover'96 who beat us 2-1 in August 1971.

I hope one day we will have such honors again and show the footballing world we really were sleeping giants.
