Bowerman - released by Walsall. Proven he can score goals in the league, he's young, a massive Wolves fan and also cheap?! thoughts?

He would have been close to top goalscorer in league 1 had he not fell out with Dean Smith. He is miles better than Will Griggs and doesn't rely on pens for his goals.
Accrington, Cheltenham & Oldham currently trying to get him.
He will score goals wherever he goes!

Started last season well then faded into oblivion. He may be a Wolves fan but he ain't a Wolves player. Then again.

Released by the footballing giants walsall doesn't say a great deal for you now does it son

I don't know the circumstances. But is signing someone who Walsall don't want really the way to get out of L1 (at the top end, that is)?

If he's been released why is he cheap.

He has been released because he fell out with dean smith who didn't have a clue where to play him.
He scores goals and goal scorers always will. He is not a great striker but he is always in goal scoring positions and he puts the ball in the net.
He has plenty of offers from home and abroad including In the USA!
He is worth a go for a year!

Hahah, miles better than Will Grigg?! What a load of rubbish. Only a family friend or member might come out with that tosh. Most awkward looking player in League 1 and an attitude problem which is why he was released. He gets into some good positions and had a bit of a purple patch over 4-5 games but was gash for the rest of it. Needs a season or two in Conf/League 2 to learn how to be a striker and hold up ball, then he might get somewhere in top half of League 1.

Already got strikers for this division in siggy, griffiths and cassidy the one I would like to go with those 3 his k. davies old hand and a leader who would bring those 3 on. wolfy

Shows what most of our fans know about lower league football, towards the end of the season Walsall were one of if not the form team in league1 and would have made play-offs if they hadn't been just above relegation zone at christmas. Not saying we should do it but signing a guy who was released by them because he fell out with the manager may not be the worse move in the world as long as he can be kept under control and not just prove to be "hard work".
