Been keeping an eye on our players that have been loaned out and so far all sounds good. Rave reports from Oxford about Jordan Graham. Standing ovation on his debut and having played four games now fellow defender has tipped him for big future saying he has lots of confidence and can be as good as he wants to be. Millwall manager raving about Saville saying I thought he was excellent considering how few games he has played. Tommy Rowe man of the match for Scunthorpe on Saturday and scored. Lee Evans scored in last game at Bradford, and Zele got first 20 mins on saturday after being out for weeks with injury. It may be lower division stuff but they can only play what's in front of them and I think its great to see them all doing well. Only disappointment in Macalinden who seems to have lost confidence at Shrewsbury and can't make the first team. He has been highly regarded all through his formative years and I still think there is a player in there but beginning to think we won't see it in a wolves shirt. Pity

Interesting post victory v, but with all due respect to Oxford, Millwall, Scunthorpe, Bradford and Shrewsbury, our on-loan players should be performing well in those teams. However, I really cannot see any of those players becoming an integral part of our first team. I think we may well see a big clear out come the end of the season. We have far too many fringe players in my opinion.

when hause was at gilingham and iorfa at shrewsbury (i think) were you of the same opinion on their prospects. Now look where they are. Personally, i think evans, saville, rowe and graham will return far better players and significantly better placed to kick on their careers with wolves

personally, i would not have purchased evans, saville, rowe or graham. I'll give you the fact that iorfa and hause have become good players but, more to the point, how would you integrate these players into the first team? Give the fact that we now have a settled and consistent team?

i think those assessments are pretty harsh chasetown given the amount of playing time they have had. I think that graham has every chance of establishing himself in the wide left position as ojo's loan comes to an end. Rowe is left-back cover but could have featured on the left hand side of a midfield three if we had opted for three up front with a fit dicko. I have seen a fair bit of rowe at peterboro and was always very impreseed at this level. Saville like wallace needs games and evans is the nearest we have to a macdonald.

those 4 players will only get a chance if there are injuries or if we have a bad run and they are looking good. Zeli and mcalinden even less likely to play for wolves again although i hope i am wrong and they find form enough to play at our level.

on the contrary victory v, i prefer to say realistic rather than harsh, but football, as you know, is about differing opinions and perspectives. However, we do appear to have an abundance of midfield players and getting the right blend seems to have caused kj some moments of confusion. Have to agree with windowwolf regarding those four particular players though, more especially as kj does his level best to integrate edwards and coady when both fit and available.

Derby are a good side but to give 4 goals away to them when they had only scored 12 all season says it all, 2 goals away should be enough to win a football match, can't see we getting in playoffs giving goals away for fun and the bench is not strong enough players bought in not made the side any better to many mid fielders 2 of those been waste of money in Rowe and Saville, Wallace and Coady done nothing great so far, Henry had a good game been playing well, yet KJ at one time was going to let him go to Charlton so I don't now what's going on at my f. c.

Need a striker a centre back and winger if ever we have injury in these positions to players in team now we will drop further down league hope I am proved wrong but we have to stop throwing games away like that with awful defending.

Yeh bigwolf it was a great footballin decision to get rid of Stearman! We need a new owner before Jan, then a centre half centre mid left winger and striker! Because half the players we've got are

19 Oct 2015 13:28:58
All this kerfuffle over stearman is starting to wear thin with me.He played last year when Derby put 5 past us and is no great loss in my opinion.A more pressing concern is the amount of unforced errors that we are giving away yesterdays second & third goals being a prime example.

19 Oct 2015 14:44:09
Yeh EEL and Hause r better than Stearman? NOT! Stupid decision to sell unless u had better which we haven't! The answers easy! We need better players as our squad is nowhere near good enough for promotion!

20 Oct 2015 13:54:40
Does anybody really think stearman would have made any difference to sundays result?
I certainly don't think so & some of you now making him out to be this great defender now after him being lambasted for most of the previous 7 years by the same fans is quite frankly a bit of a p##s take.
Ok he might not have gone for footballing reasons but he's no better than the young wolfs being used now

20 Oct 2015 19:04:52
He wasn't great but he better than Hause and EEL.

20 Oct 2015 22:03:56
Stearman had a very good understanding with Batth, both were very experienced defenders who had a significant influence on the younger players within the team.
I'm really not sure what happened there but we have to move on, let's all get over it, please!

21 Oct 2015 11:36:06
The stearmsn situation as gone let's all move on, the worrying thing is that K. J. said the defence is okay its good enough, now I for one do not believe that after the Derby game which the defending was Sunday morning stuff to me, bearing in mind they had only scored 12 goals this season till they played we
The same excuses keep coming up when we play bad, enough is enough for me it as to change we are alright against average sides in the division to be safe but to get promotion we must start sooner rather than later to beat the top teams.

21 Oct 2015 18:16:22
I am concerned about our defence. Our most experienced defenders are Batth, Doc and Golborne. Hardly old hands. And Doc doesn't usually start, since losing his place to Iorfa anyway. That leaves just EEL and Hause to join Batth, and Deslandes if we want to bring him in. It all looks rather thin, and probably more shaky than when we had Ward or Elokobi to bring on. I dare say there are some youngsters, but that's not the point. We need a Jody Craddock type of defender.

The trouble is, we could do with an experienced CB to slot in. In fact someone like Stearman would fit the bill!
