Martinez for Wolves, I wish!

Pity we cannot afford him, great manager!

He would not come anyway, just like Bruce and Curbishley.

Such a pity.

13 May 2016 01:44:47
Rumour had that Bruce was as good as signed up until the vocal few gave Morgan cold feet and he pulled the plug. now doesn't that sound a little familiar.?

13 May 2016 08:27:57
He had verbally agreed a deal and was waiting for a copy of the contract to go over it with his solicitor, the phone rang, Bruce answered thinking it was his solicitor to find it was Moxey telling him that they had decided not to proceed.
The rest as they say is history.

I am hearing that a Chinese person is going to takeover the club.
I do not know how true this is but I find it strange someone on here said a Chinese man was being shown around Compton.

12 May 2016 20:38:40
Probably delivering Jez's takeaway.

12 May 2016 20:53:51
Have you seen a rickshaw parked in the car park?

12 May 2016 22:03:41
Probably that ding lei.

Ref Gee wolf

We all know that morgan is selling his 100% shares. People are saying in different sites that's about £25-30m with serious investment in the first team. that's what's proberly taking so long as he's making sure they have the money to make us go farward. Who ever buys us knows that its going to cost big money being spent on the first team if there going to compete in this new season coming.

if you look at the likes of the teams already in the championship who are strong on the feild already that's not including the teams just came down from the prem. There will be a lot going on with the new owners and the terms of sale we all won't know about behind the scenes.

Yes the youth structure is in place already. Plans for the revamp on the stadium already agreed and signed off. think the wage cap will be going up if we are to attract new players but won't pay stupid amount. If you was morgan and your selling the club and want the club to go farward and try and put things right finding the best owner will fix it a little if they agree to really invest in the first team.

But that will be part of the terms of sale as the fans already hate morgan so he will try and find us best owner to move this club forward. Just a awaiting game now.

13 May 2016 08:33:21
I hope you are correct Craig for the fans sake, even our own Moron's do deserve better than this Moxeyesque charade that is going on.

13 May 2016 10:09:33
Chinese whispers, Gee wolf. I’ll ask my mate Rick Shaw what he reckons.

13 May 2016 10:53:41
Was Glenn Hughes driving the rickshaw?

13 May 2016 10:59:45
Either way when we have new owners and I say when that they or a single owner gives a large amount of money to strengthen the first team. If they are thinking a little investment and reliability of getting our injuryed players back then forget it mains well not buy us. The likes of Dicko won't be back fully 100% for a least 4-5 months into the season. Wolves is what we are. Wolf's don't act alone there in a pack. Our first team start of next season needs to be a Wolf pack strong with no fear. But as it goes only a few wolfs and loads of house dogs in a first team won't work. So as fans let's hope that investment is available asap.

First post: absolute fact a white gentleman n two Chinese men being shown around Compton yesterday. Who or what they were I don't know,

Who heard it off a third party.
Poster name casper

So moxey has confirmed that people are being shown around mol and Compton.

During the day meetings will be held in a hotel or somewhere away from Wolverhampton. Only thing people will see is people being shown around Compton as that's going to be one of the main selling points to get the club sold, plus watching the lads train and everything else that happens out of Compton. There is much more things happen with football clubs out of there training grounds. Look at man utd nothing happens at the ground it's always the training ground. So if people saying there is cars at the mol then good spot. But everything will be done at Compton.

13 May 2016 13:23:40
@craignemz2011 I hope something happens soon.

13 May 2016 15:16:22
I heard that a Chinese laundry is quoting for the linen contract at Compton and Molineux! Jez's missus is obviously so busy with pie-making, she's had to pass up on the linen contract! Poor Jez, the bloke must be skint, with just half a mil salary, the food concession and buy-to-let houses rented to Wolves players.

I think if a Chinese buyer bought this summer and kept Moneyshop and Moxey it would go extremely badly for them.

Moxey imposing Moneyshop, announcing it as a legally binding agreement, without any fan consultation at all (which Bolton FC got, allowing them to force their club to cancel their pay-day lender sponsor with a 4.5k petition as it was only a proposal) is like something out of the Soviet Union. Moneyshop makes Wolves working class and urban only, and Moxey's whole management style is like a totalitarian dictator.

Anyone with a communist heritage who comes into that, is going to get attributed with Moxey's Stalinist ways (that he proved via the Moneyshop) , and with Moneyshop's class defined / limited ugliness.

If Chinese buy this summer and keep Moxey and Moneyshop, can see WWFC instantly having a reputation as a Soviet style club and becoming a very ugly joke, worse than Cardiff.

Identity matters - Moxey think he's a top CEO and mover and a shaker making a tough decision like Moneyshop, refusing to u-turn on it. But he's just a psycho and abuser like Thatcher was, add a totalitarian Chinese owner to that, perfect identity for the club to be labelled and despised.

I hope for their sake, if a Chinese investor is looking to buy this summer, they either buy but also sack Moxey and Moneyshop to show they believe in inclusion and liberty, or don't buy into this identity / English PR disaster and walk away.

12 May 2016 15:35:06
I just hope Moxey is watching the news and has phoned Martinez already!

12 May 2016 15:55:28
So do I. But it's not going to happen.

12 May 2016 18:25:01
Just wishful thinking Euroman, when has Moxey ever had any ambition for our club.

12 May 2016 20:17:27
Would be a tremendous appointment. Not a hope in hell of it happening though.

12 May 2016 08:56:22
Since the awards I've spoken to my 2 so called sources and told them they don't know their arses from their elbows! Sorry if I've mislead anyone it wasn't my intention as I basically took their word as gospel! With that I wish u all well and let's hope things do change for the better at our club! Have a good summer and roll on next season hopefully with new owners and new management installed! Come on The Mighty Wolves! 👍.

12 May 2016 10:21:04
Ah well if only we knew eh Paul
But the truth is out there! lol.

12 May 2016 10:39:09
Paul,
Thanks for explanation and climb down. Not everyone would be so candid when they are wrong. Your sources sound like delusional Walter Mitty types. In the short term Kenny is going nowhere and in fact there would be no point with the present ownership. If we get sold, Kenny may then be replaced. Have a good summer yourself.

12 May 2016 10:46:40
It's not your fault, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Moxey has people leaking misinformation as part of his standard smoke and mirrors. Moxey must love Kenny rumour most of all, because it takes attention of him.

And you may still be right - KJ could still be out, but they can't announce it because its to do with a new owner who'll have their own manager. Who knows, will be an interesting summer, anything could happen :-)

12 May 2016 12:08:08
Paul it's simply Poxitis.

A horrible pus filled disease caused by unscrupulous dirty individuals like Moxey, he has spread this rubbish all his career and if you get too much contact it will infect you.

The Spin doctors love him, he keeps them in work and he feeds them a constant stream of garbage for them to feed off and breed.

Genuine fans get infected because we all want a cure from this present disease and the scab just won't heal. Internally there are people just like us and it's obvious they too became infected, unwillttingly they are trying to help cure the problem but the can't contain it and it turns viral when they spread it around.

Walking away is not the answer, if you are to be proved a carrier, so be it it's a fact of life, it's not how many mistakes we make in our life, it's how many times we learn from them.

Stay and fight this disease, you did say, "he would not be in charge at the start of the season, if we get new owners as Poxey is alluding to today in the express and Lie, then you may yet be right and your sources vindicated.

It's only Banter, the same bamter that has kept me coming to Wolves since 1961 Vs Blackburn we've had worse illness's than this and managed to survive, jus bear in mind "we need to keep our hands clean". Don't touch any infected fomites, (Money shop shirts or merchandise) and if we isolate the disease (Poxitis) we may see it die of starvation and isolation.

Stay blogging Paul, it's only feckin Banter mate.

12 May 2016 12:53:22
Top fan StuWulf, I could run from Wolves forever because of Moxey and his Moneyshop, but won't because of fans like you. However much Moxey and Moneyshop make it look like Wolves have zero class, fans like you prove that's wrong, we have tons, it will come through and beat them eventually :-)

12 May 2016 13:29:01
Poxey knows how to cover his arse, Divide and conquer. We should not fall into his trap.

Come the revolution brothers.

FFS it's only football, and not very good at that. 👍😜👍.

12 May 2016 13:42:08
Have a good summer Paul, I'm going to miss your posts on here now you've 'retired' from this forum. You always made me laugh (not always at you, sometimes with you) . Fair play to you standing by your word.

12 May 2016 15:14:55
Paul Tamworth, you must have left the forum because Gee Wolf has not seen your car today!
Very gracious mate but no-one wants you to leave. I showed KMac your post last week and he shook his head laughing. He said Kenny stays until club sold,

12 May 2016 15:40:28
Tommo1970 did you ask if KMac was staying?

12 May 2016 19:48:02
Believe you may not wanna hear it but I am . the realist.

12 May 2016 20:15:18
The realist, not sure who your reply is to?

12 May 2016 20:32:31
To all who doubted Jackett was here to stay, to all who said a deal to sell was around the corner, and to all who think Morgan won't heap revenge.
The man is a money making machine.
Wake up n smell the coffee.
He will hurt us.
Paul T you are the heart n soul of this site.
Passion and wanting the best for our club.
But believe in the realist.

12 May 2016 23:28:23
AP83 KMac is totally in the dark as to his future because people won't talk to him. He was dropped and not told why, then sees a change in tactics and told they wanted more strength in the middle. He loves it here but wants to be playing but has had no contact from Rangers.
However, he would have a hard time turning them down if they came in.
He is a really good bloke and still won't slag anyone off. He says that's football but expects wolves to accept an offer of one comes in.

12 May 2016 08:29:24
Have to say I really like the new shirt but wish I could buy it without the sponsor. Much more retro looking which is what I hoped for.

I'll probably still buy one of the old 80's retro ones instead though if I'm honest.

If we were struggling to attract a decent sponsor I'd have preferred us have a charity like Cancer Research as the sponsor.

I know that doesn't make money but it's the opposite end of the scale in terms of marketing, brand image and the general all round feeling about the club. If anything it would have raised the profile at the same time.

12 May 2016 08:47:57
Will be interesting to see if there is a drop in sales this year, in terms of shirts sold (rather than £) . My guess it 10-15% down.

12 May 2016 12:23:31
Once you pay for an over priced piece of cheap Chinese made material it becomes your property. I see no reason why some clever teddy out there can't design a patch which could be easily sewn on for a few quid. I quite like the new shirt (surprisingly) but I will never adverise MS, so putting a patch on which could have anything on would cover the crap MS logo and allow me to wear the Wolves colours which is all I am bothered about.

So.

Come on you entrepreneurs amongst us out there.
What a smack in the face for MS that would be. Hide the offending advert, whilst still wearing the colours.

12 May 2016 15:10:18
Re Just Smith, your comment

"If anything it would have raised the profile at the same time".

That's a brilliant point, if WWFC had had a sponsorless heritage shirt with the 3 wolves on for next season (viable because it's 50yrs since World Cup win so it is a heritage yr) , it would have got other clubs fans chattering and got decent press attention, it would have been an advert for the clubs heritage and former might to potential buyers (and foreign ones might not know) . I think it could have significantly helped prompt interest and sell the club to the kind of buyer we'd want.

And really considering we're (supposedly still) for sale, advertising the clubs greatest asset (heritage and identity) to get a new good owner asap, should surely be the priority over a cheap sponsorship deal.

I love right things, the more you look at them the more right things falls out of them.

Mr. Morgan, you love football, you know it makes sense, bin Moneyshop and give us shirts we want to support, we'd love you for it and then you could stay as a hero, or if you wanted still sell but quicker and better and with a good legacy intact :-)

12 May 2016 19:33:08
edit - looked back - realised you meant raise profile of charity rather than profile of Wolves. Sorry, yes you're right, I'd prefer a charity over Moneyshop. But maybe a modern shirt but with proper retro styling, 3 wolves and no sponsor at all would work especially well right now.

13 May 2016 14:55:09
I did Ulf but what you have said also makes a lot of sense. In addition if Morgan did drop moneyshop it would earn him a fair bit of respect that he has lost but I just can't see it happening if I'm honest.
