Yes, Yes Yes, Finally some success to celebrate, onward and upward, Kenny Jacket has transformed this club and given us some pride back, It took the board long enough to get things right, after some diabolical decisions, but the Jacket appointment could be the defining moment to return us to where we all want to be. What do we want next season, consolidation, or promotion.

Yes, we can only speculate what could have happened if they appointed Kenny after they fired Mick. But his name wasn't on the radar at the time.
Next season? I'd settle for mid-table. This lineup is largely untried in the Championship, and we don't yet know which players will succeed when up against the likes of Forest and QPR or Cardiff or Sunderland for example. I would say that so long as we improve each season, Kenny should stay.
The board will need to spend some serious money if they really want promotion next season. (And there is still the debris of players returning from loan we will need to re-loan or offload.) Better to build the team using young/undiscovered talent.

Now we are out of L1, was relegation as bad as thought? It has taken 12 months, but we are now in a decent state. And we had some fun on the way. Goals, clean sheets, some fantastic football at times.

I agree it should not have happened. But when it did some thought it would be the end of the world.
If we had stayed up we would have kept Deano, had another peg season, with the same wasters claiming their £30k a week. I have enjoyed this season more than the last season in EPL. The only reason clubs what to be in the premier league is for the money, it's far more fun in championship and even L1.
IF we had got Brucie would we been beter off ie Wembley? Personally things are just great & not spent much in process. Bruce would have wanted £millions & not got it. Thanks Kenny, in you we trust. Bazza from Donny
Dean Saunders was a right plank! What he saw in korkss we'll never know and the best singing was lee evans and I bet he wasn't even involved with that! He made some stupid decisions

Agree with most of what I'm reading. No it wasn't bad in L1 and we went down because we had a team past their sell-by date and a manager whose intellectual faculties seemed stretched each time he was asked a simple question.
When a building is crumbling you pull it down and build a new one. We've done that. Now we can continue to improve. Kenny was brought in to get us out of L1 which he did. Is he right to get us out of the Championship (upwards)? Maybe not. But there's no rush. Our Premier seasons have been generally disheartening. This is the first time for years we've been playing at the top of any division and it's been fun. I'd settle for mid-table next season.
