Im a carpenter, if i put a roof on after starting for a new firm and it fell down would i say, sorry gaffer i just needed time to click, lol. managers, players get paid thousands, so produce the goods. all I'm saying is don't rotate, play the best 11 and when come Xmas, rotate then it's not hard.

Yes and even if you were the best roofer in the world and the house had been built with dodgy foundations it would be likely to collapse.

How will Zenga know what his best 11 is if he doesn’t see them all play? I agree with having a familiar line up very week but if he hasn’t seen them play how will he ever know.

Surely he saw them play before u buy them? And I'd imagine u only buy players better than you've got? Two changes from Saturday for me with Big Dadi and Mason startin.

You as a carpenter Wednesfield Wolf, only need to click on the day at work for yourself?! Presumably, you are not a team of carpenters all hanging a door etc? Appreciated, you are part of a building unit, that being people with differing skills, some better than others etc. Footballers pass an object called a football to each other, as in try to play together in a cohesive like manner. Hopefully, your not throwing screwdrivers and hammers around to other people as they kick a ball about whilst on the move? Sorta hope your getting the gist of what people mean when referring to gelling and playing together in a cohesive mannor etc etc! Does'nt matter how much you earn, you sorta need to play how the boss wants you to, and operate together as a team! All this takes lots of practice and practice takes lots of time, no matter how good your own personal skills are. Hmm! It's going to take time for these players to gel together. Probably 2/ 3 months is my guess. Hope I'm wrong. 😉.

Let's hope the team come out tomorrow and impose themselves on the opposition from the off and throughout the game. Get stuck in, close them down and get 3 or 4. Ok, well I can dream can't I? 🍷😎.

To stretch your metaphor, Wednesfield, the roof is being built with parts ordered from different suppliers and have to be modified so that they all fit together.
