All this talk on here now of Big Sam taking the helm. Why? Just because he's a local lad?
Be honest lads, with what's just gone in with him- greed and back handers. Do you REALLY think Fosun will appoint him? Tarnish their name with a manager who's now more famous for being dodgy than being a winner.

What's our penchant for former England managers? They've all been crap for Wolves.

Turnip Head and Hoddle. Gee whiz! Third time's the charm!

Indeed what exactly has Sam achieved in his career - owners won't touch him with a barge pool. Big Sam will go the same way as Big Ron. WZ may need an assistant mgr with Championship experience - any suggestions? Also let's not forget he has been given Benfica B Team players - more experienced players required in this league.

I think things are a bit all over the place with the team right now - not one department is solid yet it will take time. I suggest build from the back first - just get the defence sorted out - they loose too many points.

Graham Taylor was the man responsible for setting up the youth system at Wolves. He also missed out on promotion via the play offs. The following season his plans were ruined by having Masters, Thomas, Daley, De Wolf, Stowell and Bully missing for long periods.

Northbank62 big Sam as achieved the best England manager of having a 100 per cent record who can beat that.

Best thing we can do as fans right now is, get behind the team&wz'he's got a massive job to do at the minute trying to find a winning combination with players who if truth be told hardly know one another'if things are looking iffy towards Christmas, Fosun will probably pull the trigger, it's not Morgan and moxey at the helm anymore, these people have deep pockets and big aspirations, I'm not sure they accept failure too easily and they will only wait so long for an upturn. So until then get behind them and show a united front.

I agree Jimmy. He's got a massive job and should be given until at least Xmas! It's going to take time to get and tune the right combination of players. 😀.

I do get behind them 100% by going to games! Il be there Saturday and then il go to Brighton in the week and so on and so on! But the reality is if Walter doesn't start getting consistency he will be sacked! When u see Birmingham, Bristol City and Huddersfield in the top 6, then questions have to be asked as this is not a strong league! Sort it Walt, or you'd might as well stay in Dubai.

Was told many moons ago Walter wasn't here for the long haul.
I can tell you now the name of the next wolves manager.
Maybe soon maybe later, but the guy is nailed on.
Only give you what I can, but it's reality.

11 Oct 2016 19:40:02
Hmmm! The only reality I see in your comment is that it amounts to a zero, nothing comment. That's nailed on!

A name Realist?

PT, never doubted your commitment for a second'i don't go to every match as work put a stop to that'but I go when I can'and the times I've been since wz has been in charge hasn't been good viewing'having said that though, at times you can see that there is undoubted talent in the squad now and every now and then you see them click and they look good, one or two key signings in the next window and some more time for walt and the coaches to get the squad plying how he expects them to and it could all pan out nicely for us.
As I said' come christmas, if things ain't improved I think he will get the elbow, but for him to get shoved out now would be a mistake I think, unless that is we were going into free fall'what message would it send to potential new managers'insant success or you are on your bike'i doubt any manager worth his salt would run a mile.
which managers who are available right now would we want down here anyway?

11 Oct 2016 21:25:16
Exactly Realist, a name! Otherwise it's a load of shoe repairers!

{Ed003's Note - who always seem to cut keys as well,weird.}

It seems that no matter who the manager is, some people are never happy. We could go an entire season and win all 46 league matches and still some on here wouldn't be happy. To those people, as you've highlighted all that is wrong with Zenga, why don't you apply for the job and show us all how it's done.

11 Oct 2016 12:52:19
we could have Pep, Jose, Jurgen or Arsene and we still wouldn't be happy. Its a game of opinions and some opinions ain't worth reading.

11 Oct 2016 16:35:52
Ajwolf Its the same with all the football teams, it's a results winning business and will never change, it goes with the job,
but what a job to have.
I think if we can get a bit of consistency up until Xmas and stay close to the play offs, then we can push on we all know what positions are needed but it's nice to see Dicho back he should make a difference when fully fit and to me he as to play him at front with Bodvarson, would love to see them pair up front when both fully fit.
