We need to buy 10 players. job that Talisca on. you could get 2 Championship top level players for that money who are proven at the level. we don't need Martin either he's a target man. we have 2 of those already we need a defoe. vardy. or Shane long type player who's going to get behind teams back lines. when ever we've done well as a team it's when we had pace. Kenny miller. e banks Blake. jarvis. sako. efobe. I'm excited about changes but we have the cash in the bank let's get to work with submitting offers before time runs out.

I'm confused. why did we not bid for ross mccormack. proven striker at this level. yet we let the Villa snatch him. screw Talisca let's buy 2-3 proven players. Martins a target man we need a jermain defoe or a Shane long. or a vardy who will get behind the back line. I've seen more pace on a snail than Chris Martin we already have 2 target men for strikers. when ever we have done well as a team we've had pace up top. Kenny miller. e banks Blake. jarvis. sako. Surely we want players who can take us to the next level rather than those proven at Championship level. because if you think about it, all the players who were here last season have proved themselves at this level because we weren't relegated.

Just because you don't get relegated doesn't mean you've proved yourself. you say about players taking us to the next level. Ide love those players but it just ain't guna happen. Talisca 20m not proven and is a gamble. There's players who play in championship that would also make prem teams and they are players we need. like players of old sako. ofobe good in championship and good enough for prem. Ide rather those types of players than people who haven't played in the league and are unheard of and cost 20m.

Not a fan of mason yet, just open to giving any player a decent chance before slating them. Players that are good enough to play in the premier league but play in championship teams now are obviously not very abundant or value for money hence why they're not playing in the premier league already. If Ross McCormack (who people keep mentioning) is good enough for the premier league, how come he's still in the championship aged 29? People in the business often know more than we realise, lots of analysis and scouting going on, it's not just "he looks alright let's get him". If they're willing to spend a decent chunk on Talisca, there must be something about him that's worth it.

Know one had heard of Talisca until the takeover. If he was that good we would known of him. He is irrelevant. Cannot believe we would spend that sort of money excluding wages on one player. Loan him yes. If he is crap, no big deal. Let's concentrate on the team as a whole an fill in the gaps before deadline day. One player does not make a team, even at 20 mill. At the moment we have spent zeroy.

Now we have solid rumours of Talisca, and I wager that when the big signing happens it will be someone unexpected. You're right. He has the experience but remember that he won't be able to play Saturday Midweek Saturday therefore he will miss a lot of games. Also the pace of the Championship may be too much for him. Sign him certainly, but use him sparingly.

If were trying to stabilise things midfield, how about this for a punt.
Price, Teixeira, Schweinsteiger Carvalho.
This line up would take the pressure off the defence, support the forwards and scare the rubbish out of the rest of the league. The proof was in the pudding the other night, Price and Teixira were showing great understanding between each other. I see good things coming for the furure.
