Wouldn't you say that our defensive issues are psychological at the moment. On current form I would have coady, hause, stearman and doherty when fit. But I do believe danny batth is still a warrior, he needs a decent manager to tell him the basics ie kicking into row z is ok when your wasting time but he should find a simple pass faster and direct more, when you take an armband on at a club like wolves you need to play like a demi god. He needs a good bollocking then a good cuddle and be told he is the leader of men now! up the wolves.

Nope disagree. simply they're not good enough. we don't need warriors we need footballers. coady is OK but in midfield.

I'm strictly talking about Danny bath Tim. We do need warriors for centre backs. Warriors are the leaders, the spine of a fighting team. Especially in the championship. I totally agree that our centre backs should pass and mark more accurately. But look at great centre backs ie vidic, Terry, etc they are mentally tougher than the rest. They want to win so bad they will outplay any forwards put in front of them. That's what I want.

I agree, fight and outplay, something that Danny boy is not capable of doing, more scared of than anything.

Danny has some major failings but he is not scared. Kevin Davies hammered most centre backs and he had big respect for Danny as keeling going when clattered. I think we have the best mannered calmest cleanest defenders in the league, and its a problem. Don't want suspensions penalties and lots of free kicks, but maybe a few more sacks or head to head conflicts. A bit more snarling aggression and shouting.

Wolves don't need a warrior at the back its a good defender who can read the game and mark the opposition center forward. Unfortunately Danny is a league 1 player where the movement of the front players is not as good. You can be as brave as a lion but if you're not within 5 yards of your man then its no good. Both Cameron Jerome and Darren Bent have given him the run around in recent weeks. Sorry I'm sure he is a great guy who bleeds black and gold but he just not up to it in this league week in week out, one good performance in 6 is not good enough.
